제주 미천동굴 고사릿과 자생식물의 생태 고찰 (I) (Ecological Contemplation on Native Plant of Bracken at Micheon Cave in Je-ju Island)

  • There are many beautiful volcano caves in Je-ju island which is biggest volcanic island in Korea. The typical volcano caves are ManJang-gul, HyupJe-gul and MiCheon-gul, etc. Among them the MiCheon-gul name is originated from the beautiful things of cave which were more than thousands in there. This MiCheon-gul cave has another feature in special. It is about a native plant bracken living among the various live creatures and plants in MiCheon-gul cave, however, it is growing contrary under the vertex of the cave grown at retro-gravity, as one of the famous things of the proud cave. Therefore, it was contemplated and investigated on the habitat of a mode of life and ecological adaptation on the native plant of bracken include the geomorphic and geographic features of the MiCheon-gul cave.

단양 고수동굴과 여천굴의 환경요인과 그 동물상에 관한 연구 (Studies on Environmental Factors and Faune of Kosudong-gul Cave and Yoe chon-gul Cave in Dan-yang gun, Korea.)

  • The Kosudong-gul Cave at kosu-ri, Daegang-myon, Danyang-gun, Chung Chong Bug-do, Province was surveryed by this author on the 3rd of Nov. 1973, 6th of Jan. 1974, 30th of Aug. and 13th of Sept. 1975 through over several times field trips. Yoechon-gul Cave at Yoechon-ri, Gagok-myon, Danyang-gun, Chung Chong Bug-do, Province was surveyed by this author on the 30th of August, 1975. The enviromental factors of both caves checked the siftations for air temperature, water temperature, moisture and pH, as well as the faunae f both caves and ecollogically studieel them. Kosudong-gul Cave (1) The environmental factors checked was the same as table 1. (2) The fauna is 5 classes and 18 species and they classified as Troglobite......2 species-11.1%, troglophile.....5 species-27.7%, and trogloxene....11 species.-61.2%. Yochon-gul Cave (1)The environmental factor Checked was the same as table 2. (2) The fauna is 5 classes and 8 species and they classified as troglobite......1 species-11.1%, troglobite....4 species-44.4% and trogloxene.....4 species-44.4%.

Evaluation of [18F]AlF-ND-GUL for Imaging Prostate Cancer

  • Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second most frequent cancer. Prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is an effective target for the detection, staging and monitor the response of therapy in the management of PCa. In this study, we aimed to develop a 18F-labeled PSMA-PET tracer ([18F]AlF-ND-GUL) and test its feasibility for targeting PCa. A variety of labeling conditions was tested for optimization to achieve maximum radiolabeling efficiency. To test the imaging capacity of [18F]AlF-ND-GUL, in vivo PET/MR images were performed in 22Rv1 tumor bearing BALB/c nude mice after injection of radiotracer. Optimized labeling condition was to dissolve 300 nmol of precursor (ND-GUL) in buffer (pH 4, 0.1 M, NaOAc-HOAc) and react with [18F]AlF at 110℃ for 30 min. The [18F]AlF-ND-GUL maintained stability of >85% over 4 h. In-vivo molecular PET/MR imaging study results clearly showed high tumor uptake of [18F]AlF-ND-GUL over time. In conclusion, we optimized [18F]AlF-ND-GUL labeling conditions for PCa diagnosis and confirmed PSMA specific binding in vivo.

민간약 굴거리잎의 생약학적 연구 (Pharmacognostical Studies on the Folk Medicine 'GulGeoRiIp')

  • Korean folk medicine 'GulGeoRiIp' has been used to gastroentric trouble and indigestion from drinking. The botanical origin of the crude drug has never been studied pharmacognostically. To clarify the botanical origin of GulGeoRiIp, the morphological and anatomical characteristics of Daphniphyllum species growing in Korea, i.e. Daphniphyllum macropodum Miq. and D. glaucescens Blume were studied. As a result, GulGeoRiIp was proved to be the leaf of Daphniphyllum macropodum Miq.(Euphorbiaceae).

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, smart construction is actively researched, in the domestic construction field, and one of the key elements in this field is Building Information Modeling(BIM). In Korea, smart construction is being implemented through BIM-based digitization and intelligence. The geotechnical engineering field should also prepare for the introduction of BIM. In this study, the concept and application status of GeoBIM were identified, and the direction of future research was presented. This study is a part of the study "Establishment of GeoBIM-based Digital Twin Maintenance System" in the current "Technology Development for Establishment of Jeju Ground Collapse Response System for Safe Road Operation". The subject and scope of the study is continuous excavation at caves located under roads in Jeju Island, and initial research is being conducted on Jaeamcheon-gul and Jeonggusu-gul. This study aims to build a digital twin through individual data construction and integration processes such as cave shape modeling using laser scanners, 3D stratum modeling using borehole information and geophysical exploration data, and modeling of surrounding conditions using drones.

  • Cheju island is situated at about 90km south of southern most tip of the Korean peninsula. Its shape is an ellips with size of 80$\times$40$km^2$, and it is characterized by a symmetrical form whose peak is Mt. Halla (1950m). Major chemical composition of the rock samples from Manjang gul cave is determined by XRF using the fundamental parameter method consisting of fully auto quantitative analysis, semi quantitative analysis (order estimation) and group quantitative analysis. Judging from chemical composition ($SiO_2 = 53.07Wt% Fe_2 O_3=11.34Wt%, MgO=6.48Wt%, Na_2 O=3.07Wt%, K_2 O=1.05Wt%$), this rocks may belong to non alkalic basalt. K-Ar ages of two rocks samples from the Manjang gul cave are also determined. The discrepancy of K-Ar ages is found. They are 0.03Ma and 0.42Ma, respectively. This paper describes some problems experienced in dating young volcanic rocks and then discusses chemical composition, X-ray fluorescence analysis and the age of the formation of a lava tunnel such as Manjang gul cave in cheju Island.

  • 본 연구는 최석정의 <구수략>을 수학적 측면보다는 수학철학적 측면에서 재조명한다. 최석정은 <구수략>을 통해 산학을 산학 자체만이 아닌 도학의 전통에서 산학을 정리하고, 산학의 기본 경서라 할 수 있는 <구장산술>을 소강절의 사상론을 바탕으로 재정립하려는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이는 산학에서 성립되는 법칙이 자연만물의 이치에 벗어나지 않는다는 최석정의 독특한 시각으로 해석할 수 있다.
