Reinforcement learning got successful results in a lot of applications such as control and scheduling. Various function approximation methods have been studied in order to improve the learning speed and to solve the shortage of storage in the standard reinforcement learning algorithm of Q-Learning. Most function approximation methods remove some special quality of reinforcement learning and need prior knowledge and preprocessing. Fuzzy Q-Learning needs preprocessing to define fuzzy variables and Local Weighted Regression uses training examples. In this paper, we propose a function approximation method, Fuzzy Q-Map that is based on on-line fuzzy clustering. Fuzzy Q-Map classifies a query state and predicts a suitable action according to the membership degree. We applied the Fuzzy Q-Map, CMAC and LWR to the mountain car problem. Fuzzy Q-Map reached the optimal prediction rate faster than CMAC and the lower prediction rate was seen than LWR that uses training example.

In this paper, we proposed the intelligent navigation agent model for successive electronic commerce management. For allowing intelligence, we used fuzzy conditional probability and trapezoidal. we proposed the model that can Process the vague keywords effectively. Through the this, we verified that we can get the more appropriate navigation result than any other crisp retrieval keywords condition. Our goal of study is make an intelligent automatic navigation agent model.

In this paper, the methods which calculate the tuple membership values in a vague model of the fuzzy databases are analyzed A method among them is proposed to offer the effective solutions to the users. Also an information theory is studied to calculate the entropy of the results of a fuzzy query and an algorithm is proposed to control the size of the entropy.

With the rapid development of cloud computing, more and more data owners are motivated to outsource their data to cloud for various benefits. Due to serious privacy concerns, sensitive data should be encrypted before being outsourced to the cloud. However, this results that effective data utilization becomes a very challenging task, such as keyword search over ciphertexts. Although many searchable encryption methods have been proposed, they only support exact keyword search. Thus, misspelled keywords in the query will result in wrong or no matching. Very recently, a few methods extends the search capability to fuzzy keyword search. Some of them may result in inaccurate search results. The other methods need very large indexes which inevitably lead to low search efficiency. Additionally, the above fuzzy keyword search methods do not support access control. In our paper, we propose a searchable encryption method which achieves fuzzy search and access control through algorithm design and Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-based Encryption (CP-ABE). In our method, the index is small and the search results are accurate. We present word pattern which can be used to balance the search efficiency and privacy. Finally, we conduct extensive experiments and analyze the security of the proposed method.

When Web-based special retrieval systems for scientific field extremely restrict the expression of user's information request, the process of the information content analysis and that of the information acquisition become inconsistent. Accordingly, this study suggests the re-ranking retrieval model which reflects the content based similarity between user's inquiry terms and index words by grasping the document knowledge structure. In order to accomplish this, the former constructs a thesaurus and similarity relation matrix to provide the subject analysis mechanism and the latter propose the algorithm which establishes a search model such as query expansion in order to analyze the user's demands. Therefore, the algorithm that this study suggests as retrieval utilizing the information structure of a retrieval system can be content-based retrieval mechanism to establish a 2-step search model for the preservation of recall and improvement of accuracy which was a weak point of the previous fuzzy retrieval model.

With the technical advances, the amount of big data is increasing day-by-day such that the traditional software tools face a burden in handling them. Additionally, the presence of the imbalance data in big data is a massive concern to the research industry. In order to assure the effective management of big data and to deal with the imbalanced data, this paper proposes a new indexing algorithm for retrieving big data in the MapReduce framework. In mappers, the data clustering is done based on the Sparse Fuzzy-c-means (Sparse FCM) algorithm. The reducer combines the clusters generated by the mapper and again performs data clustering with the Sparse FCM algorithm. The two-level query matching is performed for determining the requested data. The first level query matching is performed for determining the cluster, and the second level query matching is done for accessing the requested data. The ranking of data is performed using the proposed Monarch chaotic whale optimization algorithm (M-CWOA), which is designed by combining Monarch butterfly optimization (MBO) [22] and chaotic whale optimization algorithm (CWOA) [21]. Here, the Parametric Enabled-Similarity Measure (PESM) is adapted for matching the similarities between two datasets. The proposed M-CWOA outperformed other methods with maximal precision of 0.9237, recall of 0.9371, F1-score of 0.9223, respectively.

It is essential to maintain hierarchical information properly for efficient XML query processing. Well known approach to represent hierarchical information of XML tree is assigning a specific node number to each node of XML tree. Insertion and deletion of XML node can occur at any position in a dynamic XML tree. A dynamic numbering scheme allows us to add nodes to or delete nodes from an XML tree without relabeling or with relabeling only a few existing nodes of XML tree while executing XML query efficiently. According to W3C XQuery update facility specifications a node can be added as first or last child of the existing node in XML tree. Generating new number for last child requires referencing the number of previous last child. Getting the number of last child is very costly with previous approaches. We have developed a new dynamic numbering scheme PSN which is very effective for insertion of a node as last child. Our approach reduces the time to find last child dramatically by removing sorting of children.
Many Methodologies have proposed for component retrieval. Among them, thesaurus concept has introduced for similar component retrieval. This paper classified classes by concept according to inheritance relation for efficient retrieval of component, and applied fuzzy logic to thesaurus method and constructed object-oriented thesaurus. Proposed method could express category between concepts automatically, and calculate fuzzy degree between classes by comparing matching and mismatching degree to each class and category and construct thesaurus. Component retrieval is that using classes of component, candidate components are retrieved according to priority order using fuzzy similarity. Also, we improved retrieval performance by thesaurus greatly, setting critical of most suitable through simulation.

If there is an Information Retrieval system which comprehends the semantic content of documents and knows the preference of users. the system can search the information better on the Internet, or improve the IR performance. Therefore we propose the IR model which combines semantic based indexing and fuzzy relevance model. In addition to the statistical approach, we chose the semantic approach in indexing, lexical chains, because we assume it would improve the performance of the index term extraction. Furthermore, we combined the semantic based indexing with the fuzzy model, which finds out the exact relevance of the user preference and index terms. The proposed system works as follows: First, the presented system indexes documents by the efficient index term extraction method using lexical chains. And then, if a user tends to retrieve the information from the indexed document collection, the extended IR model calculates and ranks the relevance of user query. user preference and index terms by some metrics. When we experimented each module, semantic based indexing and extended fuzzy model. it gave noticeable results. The combination of these modules is expected to improve the information retrieval performance.
When Web-based special retrieval systems for scientific field extremely restrict the expression of user's information request, the process of the information content analysis and that of the information acquisition become inconsistent. In this paper, we apply the fuzzy retrieval model to solve the high time complexity of the retrieval system by constructing a reduced term set for the term's relatively importance degree. Furthermore, we perform a cluster retrieval to reflect the user's Query exactly through the similarity relation matrix satisfying the characteristics of the fuzzy compatibility relation. We have proven the performance of a proposed re-ranking model based on the similarity union of the fuzzy retrieval model and the document cluster retrieval model.
