Analysis of National Education Plan Implementation for Lifelong Education Promotion Basic Plan and Career Education Internalization Support Plan

  • This study examines the meaning of the national education plan promotion background, focusing on the 5th Lifelong Education Promotion Basic Plan (2023-2027) and the 3rd 2023 Career Education Internalization Support Plan (2023-2027). The purpose of this study is to present future directions for lifelong education and career education. The research results indicate that The 5th Lifelong Education Promotion Basic Plan (2023-2027) and the 3rd 2023 Career Education Internalization Support Plan (2023-2027) have both been established to cope with the future social and educational environment; thus, it is necessary to realize them. For this purpose, concrete policy alternatives have been prepared. In modern society, it is vital for the state to promote basic plans related to education, particularly for developing and improving the education system. In this respect, when suggesting the direction of lifelong and career education, first, policies for social development and strengthening competitiveness are important. Second, policies are needed that respond to changes in jobs and occupations. Third, lifelong and career education are essential to ensure social inclusion and fairness. Fourth, lifelong and career education are vital in nurturing human resources for sustainable development.

대학생의 진로상담프로그램 실시전후의 진로성숙도 차이검증 (Career counseling of University Students before and after Differences in career maturity verification)

  • 본 연구에서는 대학생들의 진로상담 프로그램 실시 전후의 진로 성숙도차이 검증을 통하여 향후 대학생들의 진로 상담 프로그램 개발 및 대학의 진로 지도의 방향 설정의 기초가 되고자 한다. 검증결과 우선 대학생 진로상담프로그램을 적용한 실험집단이 적용받지 않은 통제집단에 비해 진로태도성숙 수준이 향상되었다. 진로태도성숙 변화량의 집단간 T-test 결과는 진로태도성숙 전체에 대하여서도 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 세부 요인으로서는 확신성과 독립성에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Unlike in the past, standards for the quantity and quality of work expected from medical school faculty are continuously rising, causing changes and stress in various areas. This highlights the need for career development among medical school faculty for professional, personal, organizational, and societal reasons. The role of medical school faculty has become more diverse, leading to an increase in the types and levels of competencies required. Medical schools must support their faculty members with diverse identities in fully utilizing their capabilities to achieve the institution's mission. Furthermore, societal changes suggest that career development for medical school faculty will become even more crucial in the future. To achieve this, both individuals and organizations must make efforts and play appropriate roles. For this purpose, medical schools use a combination of promotion and tenure evaluations and faculty development programs, while individual faculty members follow a career path within the medical school environment. Medical school faculty must be able to meet the evolving demands at each stage of their careers. It is important for professors, who engage in career development, to have a clear sense of their identity and values, and to prioritize their career goals. Medical schools should also ensure that the implicit messages they convey align with the organization's explicit values. Finally, proactively preparing for future changes in society and generations is essential from a long-term perspective.

'실버케어 전문가' 미래직업 연계형 STEAM 프로그램이 초등학생의 미래지향 시간관, 진로인식 및 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of 'Silver Care Expert' Future Career-related STEAM Program for the Elementary Students' Future Time Perspective, Career Awareness and Scientific Attitudes)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 '실버케어 전문가' STEAM 프로그램을 개발하고 초등학교에 적용하여 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이 연구를 위해 경기도 소재 초등학생 110명이 참여하였다. 54명은 실험 집단으로, 56명은 비교집단으로 배치하였으며 프로그램 적용 전후에 미래지향 시간관, 진로인식, 과학적 태도 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, '실버케어 전문가' STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단 학생의 미래지향 시간관 전체 점수와 2개 하위 영역 모두에서 비교집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<.05). 둘째, '실버케어 전문가' STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단 학생의 진로인식 전체 점수와 4개 하위영역 점수가 비교 집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<.05). 셋째, '실버케어 전문가' STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단 학생의 과학적 태도 전체 점수와 7개 하위영역 점수가 비교집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<.05). 넷째, '실버케어 전문가' STEAM 프로그램에 대한 실험집단 학생의 만족도를 조사한 결과 '나는 과학기술 분야와 관련된 직업에 대한 관심이 생겼다'라는 항목에서 가장 높은 긍정적 인식을 보여주었다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서 개발 적용한 STEAM 프로그램이 초등학생의 미래지향 시간관, 진로인식, 과학적 태도를 향상시키는 데 효과적임을 시사한다.

양성평등 진로교육프로그램이 중학생의 직업관련 양성평등의식 및 진로정체감에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Gender Equality Career Education Program on Vocational Gender Egalitarianism and Career Identity of Middle School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to test the effect of the gender equality career education program on vocational gender egalitarianism and career identity of middle school students. The subjects of this study were 72 middle school students in Busan. They were divided into two groups, the experimental group and the control group, with 36 students each. Korea Gender Egalitarianism Scale for Adolescents and Career Identity Scale of My Vocational Situation(MVS) were used to measure vocational gender egalitarianism and career identity. Collected data were analyzed using t-test. Results of analysis showed that the experimental group showed higher vocational gender egalitarianism and higher career identity than the control group. The implications of this study for career guidance were discussed and recommendations for future research were made.

이공계 대학생의 진로결정수준 및 진로준비행동 분석 (Analytical Results of Panel Survey on the Career Decision Level and Career Preparation Behavior of College Students Majoring in Science and Engineering)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 이공계 대학생들의 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구는 한국직업능력개발원의 2007년 한국교육고용패널(KEEP) 원자료 중 연구 질문에 따라 해당 연구대상을 2, 3년제 전문대학 및 4년제 대학 이공계 학생 298명으로 제한 추출하였다. 분석 결과 이공계 대학생의 진로결정수준은 성별, 출신 고등학교, 대학 유형, 전공계열 등과 무관하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 진로준비행동의 경우, 직업세계의 이해 측면은 남성 이공계 대학생이 여성 이공계 대학생보다 미래직업 업무내용에 대해 구체적으로 인지하는 것으로 나타났다. 진로탐색 계획과 활동 측면에서는 대학유형별로 2년제, 3년제 대학보다 4년제 대학의 이공계 대학생들이 미래직업 계획을 보다 적극적으로 수립하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 이공계 대학생의 진로지도 프로그램 개발이 필요하고 저학년 초기 진로지도가 필요하다는 점을 제언하였다.

진로정체성이 수학 교과 학습지속성과 학업성취에 미치는 영향: 유용가치의 매개 효과 (The effects of career identity on learning persistence and academic achievement: Mediating effect of utility value)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of career identity on learning persistence and academic achievement, and mediating effect of utility value. To examine the effect of mediating role of utility value, we divided utility value into two types, utility value of daily matters and utility value of career. This study was conducted on 228 senior students in high school, to investigate relations among career identity, utility value, learning persistence and academic achievement in mathematics, by using the structural equation model. The results are as follows. First, career identity positively predicted learning persistence in mathematics. Second, career identity positively predicted the utility value of daily matters and career. Third, both type of utility value in mathematics positively predicted learning persistence in mathematics. Fourth, the utility value of daily matters and career, in mathematics subjects, showed differential predictability toward learning persistence and academic achievement. Both type of utility value in mathematics positively predicted learning persistence, but showed differential predictability toward learning academic achievement. Specifically, the utility value of daily matters in the near future did not predict the academic achievement, but the utility value of career in the distant future positively predicted the academic achievement. Fifth, the utility value was found to play a mediating role in the relationship between career identity and learning persistence. Based on the results of this study, implications for mathematics education were discussed.

고등학생의 '진로와 직업' 교육과 '진로심리검사' 교육의 만족도가 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Career Education and Psychological Counseling Satisfaction on Career Self-Efficacy of High School Students)

  • 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 학생 568명을 대상으로 학교 진로교육(진로와 직업, '교과 연계 진로교육', '진로관련특강', '입시설명회', '진로심리검사', '영상미디어(시청각)자료')을 각 활동에 대한 교육 만족도가 학생들의 진로 결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 진로결정 자기효능감 척도의 하위요인인 '목표선택', '직업정보', '문제해결' 및 '미래계획' 항목으로 나누어서 각 항목별로 만족도에 따라서 3개의 상집단, 중집단 그리고 하집단으로 분류하여 분석하였다. 방법: 대상자에게 설문지로 조사를 하였다. 결과: '진로와 직업', '교과 연계 진로교육', '입시설명회' 교육의 만족도가 진로결정 자기효능감에 미친 '목표선택', '직업정보', '문제해결' 및 '미래계획' 항목에서 모두 상집단이 중집단 및 하집단보다 높게 나타나서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다(p<.001). '진로관련 특강' 교육의 만족도가 진로결정 자기효능감에 미친 영향은 하집단> 상집단> 중집단 순으로 나타났으며, 상·하집단 수치와 중집단의 수치 간에는 유의한 차이를 보였다. '진로심리검사' 교육의 만족도가 진로결정 자기효능감에 미친 영향은 '목표선택' 및 '직업정보'에서는 상집단> 중집단> 하집단 순으로 나타났으며, 상집단 수치와 중·하집단의 수치 간에는 유의한 차이를 보였다. '문제해결' 및 '미래계획' 항에서는 상·중·하집단 수치간의 차이는 있었으나 유의성이 있는 차이는 아니었다. '영상미디어(시청각)자료' 교육의 만족도가 진로결정 자기효능감에 미친 영향에서는 상·중·하집단 간의 수치에 차이는 있었으나 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. '영상미디어(시청각) 자료' 교육에 대한 만족도는 낮아서 진로결정 자기효능감에 크게 영향을 미치지 않았다고 평가한다. 결론: 진로교육의 만족도가 높으면 '목표선택', '직업정보', '문제해결' 및 '미래계획'에 대한 진로결정 자기효능감도 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 진로교육의 방향을 제시하여 주고 있다고 본다.

진로집단상담 프로그램이 초등학교 학습부진아동의 진로성숙과 성취동기에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Career Group Counseling Program on the Career Maturity and Achievement Motivation of Elementary School Underachievers)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a career group counseling program on the career maturity and achievement motivation of elementary school underachievers. This study targeted the fifth grader underachievers. Twenty underachievers, whose pre-test homogeneity in career maturity and achievement motivation was verified, were allocated to an experimental group and a control group by 10 underachievers each. The program was conducted for a total of 12 sessions, twice per week, and each session lasted 80 minutes. For verification of the program effects in this study, MANOVA and ANOVA were carried out for pre- and post-score tests between the groups, and repeated-MANOVA and paired t-test were peformed to look into the changes within a group by using SPSS/WIN(version 12.0) in terms of statistical analyses. The findings in this study are as follows: First, as a result of post test for the experimental and control groups, and difference verification of post and pre-tests within the experimental group, both career maturity and sub-factors of career maturity demonstrated significant differences. Second, as a result of difference verification of the pre- and post-tests within the experimental group, achievement motivation significantly improved, but there was no statistically significant difference in achievement motivation in the post-test of experimental and control groups. However, of the sub-factors of the achievement motivation, self-confidence and Interest in the long-term future significantly improved. Third, we can see that the career group counseling program provided opportunities for the underachievers to search their own character, interest, and aptitude, and broadly encounter the world of occupations. Also, we can infer that the underachieves had active and developmental attitudes towards future dreams and their current efforts. As noted above, the career group counseling program proved that it has a positive effect to the improvement of the elementary school underachievers' career maturity and achievement motivation in some variables.

대학생들의 셀프리더십, 진로결정자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the affect of Self-leadership, Self-efficacy of Career Path Decision on the University Students' Career Path Preparation Behavior)

  • The Purpose of this research was to examine the influence of university students' self-leadership and career decision self-efficacy upon career preparation behavior. A total of 342 participants in 1th ~ 3th grades from universities in Seoul. Result from multiple regression analysis indicated the following. First, self-leadership and career decision self-efficacy had an impact on career preparation behavior. Second self-leadership had impact an career decision self-efficacy. Third, career decision self-efficacy had an impact on career preparation behavior. The result showed that there was significant interaction. Finally, the limitations of this study and suggestions for future research on career path preparation behavior were discussed. The implication of this study is that self-leadership and self-efficacy can the university students' career path preparation behavior. This research findings, theoretical and practical implications were suggested. Consequently it mean that the career guide program for university student. Therefore, effective counseling strategies to enhance career preparation behavior.
