  • The requirements of reliability verification for new products and technology are increasing more and more in accordance with the trend of climate change prevention and GHG reduction technology, functional skills. SCA(Swirl Control Actuator) is the important part of a car intake manifold system. This device generates swirl that is mixing the fuel and air into the engine combustion chamber. This is to improve output for engine and reduce the emission for exhaust. In this article reliability assessment criteria for swirl control actuator for automobiles are established in terms of basic HALT and life time test.

  • 본 논문에서는 광대역 가입자 엑세스망의 인프라 기술인 ATM 노드에서의 셀 스케줄링 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 트레인 스케줄링 알고리즘(Train scheduling algorithm)이나 챠오 스케쥬링 알고리즘(Chao scheduling algorithm), 동적 스케줄링 알고리즘(Dynamic scheduling algorithm) 등의 ATM 스케줄링 알고리즘들은 셀 손실률이 높고 전송 채널의 낭비가 많은 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스 제공을 위해 입력 소스 트래픽의 QoS 등급에 기초를 둔 제어 방식을 제안한다. 먼저 다양한 서비스 품질을 만족시키기 위한 스케줄링 알고리즘과 기능적 구조를 설계하고. 모의실험을 통해 패킷 손실율과 평균지연 측면에서 알고리즘의 성능을 고찰한다.

FRBR 실행을 위한 MARC 레코드 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Creation of MARC Record for FRBR Implementation)

  • 이 연구는 MARC 레코드로부터 자동으로 FRBR 개체를 생성하기 위해 각 개체마다 필요한 요소가 무엇인지에 대해 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. FRBR에 대한 전반적 이해와 FRBR 개체의 속성을 분석하여 MARC 데이터의 적합한 필드를 확인하는 것에 대해 논의하였다. 편목시스템에 FRBR을 적용한 시스템 사례를 중심으로 각 개체 레코드의 내용을 살펴보았으며 개체들의 서지적 관계 분석하였다. 국내 현실에서 편목업무에 FRBR 적용을 위해 어떤 과제가 있고 어떻게 해결할 것인지에 대해 고찰하였다. 이 연구는 향후 편목업무 환경 변화에 대응하고 FRBR 개념을 적용한 편목시스템 설계와 목록규칙 개발에 참조할 수 있을 것이다.

복식에 있어서의 근대성의 의미 (Modernity in Costume)

  • Modernity is commonly defined as a reflection of the features of modern society based on the historical experience of the West. As such, modernity includes involvement with political, economic, and social changes, a changing world-view, and changing trends in equality, gender roles, a desire for "the new," consumption, distribution based on mass production, and rational reform in fashion and dress. First and foremost, however, modernity in costume has been driven by the functional requirements of industrial capitalism. But while modernity has popularly been regarded as some sort of universal standard, in fact the West and the other societies have vastly different, unique, and particular experiences with their own respective histories of modernization. For this reason, cultural changes in the modernization process should be-indeed, must be-analyzed in the context of a country's own unique historical and cultural circumstances, rather than through the prism or strict adaptation of generalized Western concepts of modernization. Moreover, a "periodization" of the modernization of fashion and dress can be established by examining the characteristics of modernity in costume.

  • There are technical requirements to manufacture large size functional parts with not only simple geometries like a flat or spherical surface but also sculptured geometries. In addition, the required machining accuracy for these parts is becoming more severe day-by-day. In general, the forms of machined parts are determined by relative position between the workpiece and the tool during cutting. To improve machining accuracy, the relative position error should be maintained within the required accuracy. This study deals with estimation and calibration of depth of cut using AE signal in micro-machining.

재활용을 고려한 조립 및 분리용이성을 위한 제품 설계 방법론 개발 (Development of Product Design Methodology for Assemblability and Disassemblability Considering Recycling)

  • This paper proposes a design methodology for customer, assembly and disassembly considering recycling. The disign process starts with the identification of customer needs, which are in turn converted into functional requirements. The concepts of Design for Customer(DFC), Design for Assembly(DFA), Design for Variety(DFV) and Design for Disassembly(DFD) are considered in the product design phases in order to decreas production variety and mass customization. And, a new module generation approach is developed for rearranging and clustering parts and subassemblies for disassembly and recycling. Based on the result of the module generation, a new configuration methodology is suggested to minimize the disassembly time or number of disassembly operations for recycling.

공작기계 구조물 설계를 위한 통합설계 시스템 개발 (Development of Integrated Design System for Structural Design of Machine Tools)

  • The design process of machine tools is regarded as a sequential, discrete, and inefficient works as it requires various kinds of design tools and many working hours. This paper describes an integrated design system embedding a design methodology that can support efficiently and systematically the conceptual structural design of machine tools. The system is a knowledge-based design system and has four machine-tool-specific functional modules including configuration design, configuration analysis, structure design, and structural analysis support module. Through the configuration design and analysis module, a machine configuration appropriate for design requirements is selected, and then the arrangement of ribs fer each structural part is decided in the structure design module. Also, the structural analysis support module is used to evaluate design result by utilizing structural analysis software, ANSYS. The system is applied to design of a tapping machine, and shows that the machine structure can be designed fast and conveniently by processing each design step interactively.

  • In this paper, various kinds of A-Frame are surveyed and classified according to their functional ability and sizes. Based on the study, a A-Frame that is suitable for ROV/AUV operation is designed. Basic theoretical structural requirements are applied and relevant Finite Element Analysis are carried out for the verification of the sound workability of the proposed A-Frame. Final configuration and the specification are proposed for the usage of ROV/AUV operation.

  • There are many new technologies for EMU to secure the facilities' safety/validity and maintenance/economical efficiency and technologic competitiveness. For example, now the EMU is using the blending brake technology with electric brake and pneumatic brake and carrying the various performances such as jerk limitation, variable load and blending brake to stop the motor car safely and efficiently. The blending brake takes important parts in braking the cars and It is used in many fields of urban transit. There were many limitations to carry the performances and certificate whether the performances are acceptable in the system or not, because at that time they didn't take the whole prelieminarly inspection. Now we start applying such new methods, taking the whole inspection prior to the installation by analyzing systems requirements and introducing various system engineering design tools. In this paper, we suggest how to reduce the errors by prelieminarly inspection for the brake facilities using the tools and inspect the needs to analyze the brake facilities' performances.

  • HLA is a general-purpose software architecture for distributed simulation designed to support a wide range of simulation approaches and application. The US DoD's HLA for modeling and simulation can certainly be regarded as the state of the art in distributed simulation. It is a mandatory standard for military simulation. The purpose of this paper is to describe applications of HLA/RTI in multiple domains across the manufacturing systems society. In many and large scale industrial systems, enormous data is generated, and is to be managed in an effective way. It needs a high performance common network library. Furthermore, it must satisfy the real function of system facilities as much as possible. The RTI is an implementation of the interface specification, provided as a set of services. Some applications focusing on the area of a small manufacturing system were demonstrated. The integration could be achieved using the HLA, together with interface modules for each of the subsystems. We have found that HLA/RTI are cable of meeting the functional requirements for a given system environment.
