In this paper, we use some theta function identities involving two parameters h_n,k and h'_n,k for the theta function φ to establish new evaluations of Ramanujan's cubic continued fraction.

With the properties of Riemann zeta function, we find an asymptotic formula of the sum for the absolute value of M$\ddot{o}$bius function, $\sum_{n{\leq}x}{\mid}{\mu}(n){\mid}$, using Dirichlet inversion formula.

We consider perturbation problems and Lagrangians for convex set function optimization problems. In particular, we prove that the Lagrangian $L({\Omega},y)$ is a convex set function in ${\Omega}$ for each y if the perturbation function is convex.

In this paper we shall consider function p(z) analytic in the open unit circle D and the solutions y(z) of the differential equation y"(Z) ＋ p(z)y(z) = 0. (1.1) The ratio f(z) = u(z)/v(z) of any two independent solutions u(z) and v(z) of (1.1) will be function f(z), meromorphic in D with only simple poles, and such that f'(z) (equation omitted) 0. We shall say that a meromorphic function which satisfies these two condition belongs to the restricted class.(omitted)

Main purpose of this note is to construct an example of a continuous one-to-one function f : ${\mathbb{Q}}^*{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{R}}$ whose inverse is nowhere continuous, and to show that the completeness is not necessary for the continuous inverse theorem.

As for the purpose of this study, education facilities must be considered by a change of an education facilities equipment acid education system and aromatic character of an educational policy with a means to support to efficiently proceed education by study about a plan of the school education facilities which considered safety. That is, education facilities must become maintenance on design construction according to education action character and goal. This is not for a function of education to be decided according to education facilities, and education facilities must be decided so that adjustment can do an education function. The student center, a student are convenient, and an actor must do a plan of education facilities with an usable physical space contrariety, future directivity. As for the plan of school education facilities, facilities must be designed on functionality, an economy, flexibility, aesthetic appreciation anger, a foundation of stability for this so that objective of education realization is easy.

A Boolean function generates a binary sequence which is frequently used in a stream cipher. There are number of critical concepts which a Boolean function, as a key stream generator in a stream cipher, satisfies. These are nonlinearity, correlation immunity, balancedness, SAC (strictly avalanche criterion), PC (propagation criterion) and so on. In this paper we construct an algorithm for finding the correlation immune order of a Boolean function, and check how long to find the correlation immune order of a given Boolean function in our algorithm.

In this paper, we propose a generalization of Lindley distribution (GLD) via a special structure that is concern with progressively Type-II right censoring and time failure data. We study the modern properties that we have built by such combination, for example, survival function, hazard function, moments, and estimation by non-Bayesian methods. Application on some selected data related to Lindley distribution (LD) and (ED) have been employed to find out the best distribution that can fit data comparing with the GLD.

2011 교육과정 개정 시안연구에서는 중학교 수준의 함수는 현실 세계의 상황을 이해하는 도구로서 초점을 맞추고, 중학교에서의 함수를 토대로 고등학교 함수에서 여러 영역을 통합하는 아이디어로서의 대응의 관점에서 정의된 형식화된 함수 개념으로 확장하는 것을 제안하고 있다. 교육과정을 개정할 때에 국제적 표준 교육과정과도 발맞추기 위하여 다른 나라의 상황을 고려하지 않을 수 없다. 본고에서는 독일에서의 함수 도입과 교수학습 측면에서의 특징을 살펴보기 위하여 독일의 여러 학교 형태 중 우리나라의 교육제도와 비슷한 학교 형태인 게잠트슐레(Gesamtschule, 종합학교)의 교과서를 선택하여 우리나라의 교과서와 비교 분석하였다. 함수영역을 중심으로 우리나라의 교과서의 구조적인 부분인 체제와 내용을 비교 분석한 결과, 독일 교과서에서는 함수 개념 도입과 내용 전개 방식, 그래프의 지도 방식 등에서 2007년 개정 교육과정과는 차이점을 보였다. 이는 우리나라의 개정 교육 과정 및 교과서의 개발에 참고가 될 만한 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.
