T-50 항공기 유압조절 밸브 수명연장 방안 (A Study on Life Cycle Extension of T-50 Aircraft Hydraulic Control Valve)

  • In General, the hydraulic system of T-50 Advanced Trainer is applied to flight control system, wheel & Brake system and fuel system for aircraft operation. The hydraulic system is operation with pressure of 3000psi. and many mechanical parts which is operated by hydraulic system has been stressed in incomplete environment same as heat and friction. for example, Oil leakage had occurred in the shutoff valve of FFP used in a certain period of time. After study, The crack progressed by fatigue due to the irregular hydraulic pressure and vibration has been identified as the reason of oil leakage. This paper presents life cycle extension plans of FFP shutoff valve by configuration improvements of shutoff valve and FFP hydraulic motor.

소형항공기의 고밀도 운용방안 연구 (The Study on Small Aircraft Transportation System in Higher Volume Opreations)

  • This paper summarizes the HVO concept and procedures, presents a summary of the research and results, and outlines areas where future HVO is required. This concept enables people to get their destinations through shortest paths with advanced air traffic control system and equipments. The concept's key feature is that pilots maintain their own separation from other aircraft using air-to-air datalink and on-board software which are needed for supporting flight information present on the high Way in the sky display and airborne internet. By assigning Self-Controlled Area which assume pilot have separation responsibility, controllers evaluated SATS HVO concept as a successful method on the view of reduced workload and increased traffic level on high volume operation.

  • Due to the opening of Incheon International Airport Terminal 2, the operation range of ground operators is expanding and the workload is increased, which may cause a deterioration of the operation quality. Airline and airport corporations are concerned about safety delays as well as delays in flight due to delays in operations. Air traffic demand at Incheon International Airport is expected to increase steadily in the future. Therefore, this study intends to derive quality improvement plan by investigating the perception of stakeholders about the status of fishing service in order to improve service quality of Incheon airport ground handling company. The results of the analysis are expected to be used as basic data for improving quality of service.

  • In this paper, KOMPSAT-2 on-board fault and ground recovery management design is addressesed in terms of hardware and software components which provide failure detection and spacecraft safing for anomalies which threaten spacecraft survival. It also includes ground real time up-commanding operation to recover the system safely. KOMPSAT-2 spacecraft fault and recovery management is designed such that the subsequent system configuration due to system initialization is initiated and controlled by processors. This paper will show that KOMPSAT-2 has a new design feature of CPU SEU mitigation for the possible upsets in the processor CPUs as a part of on-board fault management design. Recovery management of processor switching has two different ways: gang switching and individual switching. This paper will show that the difficulties of using multiple-processor system can be managed by proper design implementation and flight operation.

  • A new operational concept for the CNS/ATM using the digital data communication technology and satellite navigation system is being implemented globally and the United States is the first country to apply UAT ADS-B system for general aviation. Korea also has plan to build ADS-B system for aeronautical surveillance to monitor low altitude flight of light aircraft and ultra-light flying device and the research to develop UAT ADS-B equipment is being carried out. This paper presents the application method of UAT ADS-B to support test operation with case study of foreign UAT ADS-B operation and survey of domestic environment.

  • In the field of forest disaster prevention, drones are expected to save higher human resources than the existing manpower has, and produce high-efficiency results over time. However, operational limitations brought by short flight times have brought the environment of limited use of the various capabilities of the drone, and the existing development systems operating the multi-drone are mainly for performance purpose, so it is a difficult to use for forest disaster prevention. The purpose of this paper is to design the concept based on multi-drone operation procedure through analysis of mission of ground control system for forest disaster prevention.

  • The main purpose of the research was to review the global trends of airport's smart security technologies. Moreover, using the case studies of airport using smart security, this paper tried to propose the implication how the findings through the case studies may be important for airport policy and will impact the future research of airport operation. It is expected in the future the aviation security technology with biometric information evolves from single identification to multiple identification technology which has combined application of iris, vein and others. Facing post COVID-19 era, the number of passengers traveling through airports continues increase dramatically and the risks as well, the role of AI becomes even more crucial. With AI based automated security robotics airport operators could effectively handle the growing passenger and cargo volume and address the associated issues Smart CCTV analysis with A.I. and IoT applying solutions could also provide significant support for airport security.

  • 항공안전 및 공역활용도를 높임과 동시에 항공기 소음, 조종사 관제사간의 교신, 연료소모 및 배기가스 등을 효과적으로 줄일수 있는 연속강하접근절차는 세계적으로 큰 기대를 모으며 확대 적용되고 있으며 한국에서도 많이 적용되어 환경적, 경제적 차원에서 많은 도움이 될 것으로 예상된다. 그러나 인천국제공항의 표준접근절차들을 면밀히 살펴본 결과 접근절차 중 일부절차의 최초접근지점에서의 고도제한이 다른 절차들에 비해 상대적으로 높아 조종사들이 연속강하접근절차의 목적에 역행하여 불필요한 항력장치를 사용하여야하는 경우가 종종 발생한다. 따라서 일부절차상의 문제점을 검토하여 연속강하접근절차의 취지에 맞도록 절차변경을 함으로써 안전하고 효율적이며 친환경적인 항공운항에 이바지하려한다.

한국형발사체 추력기 자세제어시스템 비행 중 추진제 소모량 추정식 (Propellant Consumption Estimation of Reaction Control System During Flight of KSLV-II)

  • 한국형발사체 3단은 추력기 자세제어시스템에 의해 3단 엔진 점화 시점부터 위성 분리, 위성과 충돌을 막기 위한 회피기동까지 롤 및 3축 자세제어가 수행된다. 추력기 자세제어시스템은 추력기를 작동시킬 때 추진제를 소모하므로, 적정 추진제 충전은 임무 성공에 있어 중요하다. 그러므로 한국형발사체의 비행 중 추력기 자세제어시스템의 추진제 소모량이 얼마인지 추정할 수 있는 수단이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 추력기 자세제어시스템에서 획득할 수 있는 압력, 온도 데이터를 바탕으로 추진제 소모량을 추정할 수 있는 에너지 관계식을 개발하였다. 개발된 관계식을 검증하기 위해 On-board 시스템과 유사한 시스템을 구성하여 시험을 했고, 추진제 소모량 추정식과 증류수를 사용한 시험 결과를 비교분석하였다. 또한 오차 분석을 통해 예측 결과의 신뢰성을 판단하였다. 마지막으로 시스템 수준 운용시험의 추진제 소모 결과도 나타내었다.

모바일 네트워크를 이용한 복수의 클라이언트용 무인항공기 원거리 운용 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Mobile Network Based Long-Range UAV Operational System for Multiple Clients)

  • 본 논문은 상용 모바일 네트워크를 이용하여 원거리에서 무인항공기를 운용하기 위한 복수의 클라이언트용 관제 시스템을 설계하고, 구현한 시스템의 성능 시험에 관하여 기술하였다. 이동통신망을 통한 원거리 접속을 위해 상용 M2M 모듈이 내장된 데이터 송수신 모뎀을 제작하였고, 데이터베이스가 연결된 중앙 서버를 구축하여 무인항공기로부터 수신되는 비행 및 영상 데이터를 실시간으로 저장하고 지상관제시스템으로 전송할 수 있게 하였다. 지상관제시스템은 중앙관제용, 지상관제용, 스마트폰용으로 제작하여 사용 목적에 따라 운용하도록 구현하였다. 구축한 시스템으로 성능 시험을 실시하여 데이터의 지연 시간과 영상수신율, 클라이언트 상태를 측정하였고, 비행 시험을 통해 고도에 따른 모바일 네트워크 모뎀의 통신 구현 가능성도 확인해 보았다.
