  • The cutting process of materials is accompanied with the elastic and plastic deformation due to chucking forces in the boring process of thin holes on the turning. Upon removal of chucking forces at the end of process, the original shape is remained in the plastic deformation; on the other hand, it is modified in the elastic deformation due to spring back. Fixing materials by chucks on the turning has influence on roundness because the process is conducted with unbalanced distribution load induced from the fixing of three jaws. Moreover, the amount of spring back depends on the magnitude of fixing forces. We studied the change of roundness according to fixing forces as well as the method to reduce the influence of chucking forces.

  • Currently rebar spacing inspection is carried out by human inspectors who heavily rely on their individual experience, lacking a guarantee of objectivity and accuracy in the inspection process. In addition, if incorrectly placed rebars are identified, the inspector need to correct them. Recently, laser scanning and AR technologies have been widely used because of their merits of measurement accuracy and visualization. This study proposes a technology for rebar spacing inspection and fixing by combining laser scanning and AR technology. First, scan data acquisition of rebar layers is performed and the raw scan data is processed. Second, AR-based visualization and fixing are performed by comparing the design model with the model generated from the scan data. To verify the developed technique, performance comparison test is conducted by comparing with existing drawing-based method in terms of inspection time, error detection rate, cognitive load, and situational awareness ability. It is found from the result of the experiment that the AR-based rebar inspection and fixing technology is faster than the drawing-based method, but there was no significant difference between the two groups in error identification rate, cognitive load, and situational awareness ability. Based on the experimental results, the proposed AR-based rebar spacing inspection and fixing technology is expected to be highly useful throughout the construction industry.

  • Korean local festival had grown rapidly quantitatively and qualitatively for past 10 year. And also problems of domestic local festival had been indicated much by specialists and researchers who plan festival. But most precedent researches are stopping in problem presentation that is based in one point of time. In the meantime, most the very best culture tourism festivals are meeting fixing step through trial and error in historic process more than 10 years. It is important to solve fundamental problem that understand process so much. This research analyzed festival contents change aspect on fixing process as local representative festival by time-series analys, Yeongsangang culture festival to example. By the result, the biggest problem is that unclearness of festival subject by wide festival theme establishment is connected by losing festival's identity.

  • We carried out research into an environmentally friendly injection molding process that involves filling the mold with polymer after thin films are fixed into the cavity, without the coating, plating process. Film insert injection molding is a new technique in which molten plastic resin is injected into the cavity after films are precisely attached to the side of the mold wall. In the film insert injection molding process, the insert film is moved by the flow of the molten plastic resin. Overlap defects cause a decline in the productivity and the quality of the manufactured goods. To reduce overlap defects, new injection mold parts are proposed to produce automotive exterior parts using thin films. It is suggested that the best possible method would be to fix the thin films to one side of the mold wall, and develop interior pins to fix the films in the mold. Based on this new pin fixing system, the problem of the film being moved by the flow of the molten resin was improved.

  • We studied the physical properties of silk fabrics after degumming, the dyeability and the color fastness of silk fabrics after degumming and sericin fixing. As the sericin was removed from silk fabrics, the rate of weight loss increased and both the abrasion resistance and the drape coefficient decreased. This means that the amount of the sericin remained in silk fabrics significantly affects the physical properties of silk fabrics. On the surface and the cross-section of silk fabrics, the silk fibers enclosed by the sericin seemed to be in a lump shape. Each fibroin strand, however, got scattered, as the process of degumming went through. The dyeability of silk fabrics degummed decreased at between 20$^{\circ}C$∼80$^{\circ}C$ the dyeing temperature, on the other hand, it significantly increased over 80$^{\circ}C$. The dyeability of the sericin-fixed silk fabrics was lower than that of the non-serin-fixed silk fabrics, to a little extent. The colorfastness of crocking in the dyed-silk fabrics was a little low and that of the sweat was much lower in a basic sweat. Especially, the colorfastness of the partially degummed silk fabrics was low, because the sericin was not stable in the condition of sweat. Therefore, the process of sericin fixing is essentially required, for the partially degummed silk fabrics and the process of degumming itself.

  • Bonding glasses is one of the important PDP (Plasma Panel Display) manufacturing processes. Bonding process includes aligning front and rear glasses with fixing clips. In this process, clips have to maintain perfect alignment between the front and rear glasses. The panel which is fixed by clips goes to next process called sealing. The sealing process is performed in high temperature ($465^{\circ}C$). During sealing process, alignment is very important because it can affect seriously on the PDP screen quality. This study suggests redesigned clips to improve PDP panel alignment and also shows stabilization of clips in a high temperature during sealing process.

  • This study was undertakened to investigate the change of image characteristics on dental films according to the process of using time of processing solution in automatic processor. Base + fog density, film density and subject contrast were measured with the digital densitometer, the pH of developing and fixing solution were measured with Digital pH / ION Meter. The following results were obtained: 1. Base + fog density was increased with the process of using time of the processing solution and was over the maximum permissible base + fog density 0.25 from the 3rd day. 2. Film density was increased with the process of using time of the processing solution. 3. Subject contrast was decreased with the process of using time of the processing solution. 4. • Crawler-type hydraulic devices facilitate forward and backward driving of construction equipment by converting power into mechanical energy. The existing hydraulic device performance test process is time- and labor-intensive. This study aims to improve efficiency and productivity by automating the hydraulic device production performance test processes, which have been separately conducted so far. We also used SolidWorksⓇ, a 3D modeling program, and ANSYSⓇ, a structural analysis tool, for structural analysis and to verify the suitability of fixing pins required for connecting a hydraulic device to performance test equipment. Our results that employing an automated hydraulic device performance test process improves efficiency.

  • The limitation of measurement accuracy and reliability of autostigmatic null lens system are studied for the cases of using inter-distance of null lenses as the adjustment factor of alignment and fixing the distance by mounting. If we investigate the first case, the wavefront aberration of null lens system is compensated by the adjustment process even though the shape of aspherical surface is not properly fabricated. As the result, it brings about the problem of measurement reliability. However, for the fixing process by mounting null lenses, it doesn't cause the reliability problem because the wavefront aberration of null lens system is not compensated. Further, the fixing process shows nearly same result in measurement accuracy to the adjustment process, that is, $0.0316{\lambda}$ vs. $0.0326{\lambda}$. So, we can conclude the setup for autostigmatic null lens system must be constituted by means of the fixing process. Meanwhile, we introduce and define the alignment aperture on aspheircal mirror, which can be approximated as spherical zone for alignment of null lens system, and besides, we calculate the required fabrication accuracy of the zone for the necessary measurement accuracy.

  • Constructing structures is the basic process requiring establishment of grounds. However, cracks due to sinking and distorting ground influence directly on the safety of structural health. Vibrating wire sensor measures the crack of structure by detecting the differences of wire tensions in analogue manner. In the previous production process, the tension is adjusted manually measuring the frequency of vibrating wire. Therefore, the accuracy of a sensor was depends on the skill level of labor. In this study, the automatic tension control and fixing devise is developed to enhance both accuracy and productivity. To evaluate the performance of the vibrating wire sensor, the nonlinearity of sensor is measured. The automatic tension control and fixing devise enhances the nonlinearity of the sensor from 0.398 to 0.056%. Therefore, the accuracy of the newly proposed method is successful.
