Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore preceptees' experience among nursing students in the Clinical Nursing Practice program as integral practice. Specific aims were to identify problems students face as preceptees at a clinical practice and how they interact with preceptors and others. Methods: Grounded theory methodology was utilized. Data were collected from interactive field notes and transcribed notes with individual in-depth interview from 12 senior nursing students who had experiences as a preceptee in the Clinical Nursing Practice. Results: Through constant comparative analysis, a core category emerged as "Being refined while taking a firm stand with lack." The process of "Being refined while taking a firm stand with lack" consisted of four phases: sailing phase, adaptation phase, achievement phase and wistful returning phase. Conclusion: The findings of the study indicate that there is a need for nursing students to understand the limitations and strengths to learning experiences in preceptorship. In addition, the Clinical Nursing Practice as an integral practice program is needed to improve nursing capacity and for proper adaptation to real clinical environment among graduating students.

Purpose: Relocation stress is a common phenomenon in patients discharged from an intensive care unit(ICU) to a ward. Therefore, nurses need to be aware of the problems that can arise during the transfer process. The aim of this study was to identify nurses' experiences in transferring critically ill patients from the ICU to a ward. Method: Focus group interviews were done with 13 nurses from wards and ICU, which participated in receiving and sending of ICU patients. The debriefing notes and field notes were analyzed using the consistent comparative data analysis method. Result: Seven major categories were identified in the analysis of the data. These were 'mixed feeling about transfer', 'lack of transfer readiness', 'increase in family burden', 'uncertainty with unfamiliar environment', 'difficulty in decision making', 'difference of perception of the relationships between patients and health care providers', 'need for continuity of nursing care'. Conclusion: Transferring out of the critical care area should be presented to the patient and family as a positive step in the recovery process. However, a more universal method of passing information from nurse to nurse is needed to assist in a smooth transition.
Purpose: This study sought to ascertain and describe u-Health nurses (ubiquitous healthcare nurse, tele-nurse)' experiences working with low-income elders in Korea. Methods: Data were collected through semi-structured interview, focus group interviews of 6 nurses and participant observations in community places in public rental housing in the city of Seoul. The ethnographical analysis method, proposed by Spradley, was used to analyze interview data. Results: We identified two major clusters of themes on common issues and concerns experienced by nurses: "work environment" and "daily work life." In addition, ten themes and fourteen sub-themes were extracted from the field work data. Conclusion: The study provided a deeper understanding of the experiences and services of u-Health nurses in Korea, of which much remains to be understood, as the healthcare services they currently provide are limited. Moreover, its findings could empower novice nurses and expand nurse's professional knowledge and competence.

Methods: Data were collected from 15 registered nurses working in the emergency room between October, 10th and December 15th, 2020, through focus group interviews and in depth interviews. Collected data were analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological method. Results: The study derived four categories and eight themes. The four categories are 'sense of cringing with fear', 'nursing in chaotic situation', 'lonely struggles', and 'career growth as a nurse'. Emergency room nurses experienced fear and confusion in the COVID-19 pandemic, but overcame the crisis and had positive experiences of professional growth as a nurse. Conclusion: To protect emergency room nurses from infectious disease and improve their professional quality of life during the COVID-19 pandemic appropriate education and healthcare resource should be provided. It is necessary to reflect clinical worker's opinions and improve the delivery system of guideline to reduce confusion in the field and develop practical infectious disease control guideline. Furthermore, better working conditions, appropriate rewards and social and mental support should be provided for nurses in emergency room.

The study field was a unit for neurologic patients. Data was analyzed using taxonomy, discourse analysis, and proxemics. All research work was iteratively processed from March 2003 to December 2004. Results. Constant comparative analysis of the data yielded the process of becoming a successful family caregiver: encountering the differences and chaos as novice; constructing their world of skilled caregivers; and becoming a hospital family as experienced caregivers. During the process of becoming an experienced hospital family, the discourse of family centered idea guided their caring behaviors and daily lives. Conclusion. The paternalistic family caregivers struggled, cooperated, and harmonized with the patriarchal world of professional health care system. The design of space, which focuses on human senses and perception, has become more prominent. It can be understood as the space needed for a field of experience. Phenomenological attitude focuses on the relations between human in the context of their environment. The experiences generated were used as a method of design. The method guides a formation of active space through phenomenological experience in interior space as well as architecture. To stimulate a phenomenological sensitive experience, the parameters for certain experiences were connected to the five senses, finally creating a concrete space. Water, light, air, vapor, and earth as architectural media are connected to the five senses and lead to intermediation from abstract to actual. In particular, water is deeply rooted in peoples subconsciousness and stimulates our instincts. Using water by effectively combining its symbols and physical characteristics will be a method to reinforce the experience with a given space. This study will examine the need for space experience and characteristics of water as an essential elements for perception experience and present possible experimental design.

Although the scientific evidence is not entirely supportive, atypical antipsychotics have been used widely for the treatment of children and adolescents with mental illnesses as alternatives to typical antipsychotics which have more serious unwanted adverse effects than atypical neuroleptics. On the basis of clinical experiences and research data, atypical antipsychotics have been prescribed for adolescents with schizophrenia, manic or mixed episodes of bipolar disorders, tic disorders, aberrant behaviors in pervasive developmental disorders, and impulsive or violent behaviors in disruptive behavior disorders. Due to their efficacy and relatively more tolerable side effects, the use of atypical antipsychotics has become increasingly popular in child and adolescent psychiatry. However, we should pay attention to the limitations associated with short-term clinical experiences and the lack of well-designed controlled studies, especially in terms of adverse effects including those involving metabolic processes.
