반도체 테스트 핸들러 픽커 검사장비 프레임에 대한 구조 및 피로해석 (Structure and Fatigue Analyses of the Inspection Equipment Frame of a Semiconductor Test Handler Picker)

  • 요즈음 생산되는 반도체의 제품이 제대로 작동하는지, 낮은 습도 또는 높은 온도에서 잘 견디는가를 검사하는 패키지 조립 및 검사 공정이 현장에 많이 있다. 또한 검사공정에서 사용되고 있는 반도체 테스트 핸들러 픽커 검사장비가 있는데, 본 연구에서는 CATIA 프로그램을 이용하여 3D 모델링하였으며, ANSYS 프로그램을 이용하여 반도체 테스트 핸들러 픽커 검사장비 프레임의 모델에 대하여 3가지 피로하중에 대한 해석을 하였다. 해석 결과로서 Case 1과 Case 2 모두 프레임의 가운데에서 최대 변형량이 발생하고 불규칙 피로 하중들 중에서 가장 하중의 변동이 심한 'SAE bracket history'가 가장 불안정하고 'Sample history'가 가장 안정함을 보이고 있다. 본 연구의 피로 해석 결과는 반도체 테스트 핸들러 픽커 검사장비 프레임의 파손방지 및 내구성을 검토함으로서 그 프레임의 설계에 효율적으로 활용이 될 수 있다.

  • To substitute conventional reinforced-concrete bridge deck, glass composite precast bridge deck - Delta Deck/sup TM/, which possesses advantages of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance and durability, is developed for the DB24 truck load. Pultruded composite bridge deck is designed and fabricated. To verify serviceability and structural safety, finite element analysis, structural testing such as flexural test, local fatigue test, flexural fatigue test and field tests are conducted. In this paper structural characteristics of developed deck and its field application in Korea is presented.

FATIGUE DAMAGE PARAMETER OF SPOT WELDED JOINTS UNDER PROPORTIONAL LOADING

  • In this paper, the author proposes a fatigue damage parameter of spot welded joints under proportional loading. The proposed fatigue damage parameter is developed based on von Mises' equivalent stress and local structural stress at the edge of spot weld nugget. The structural stress at the edges of the weld nugget in each sheet is calculated using the forces and moments that are determined by finite element analysis. A structural equivalent stress is then calculated by von Mises' equivalent stress equation. The structural equivalent stresses are correlated to experimental fatigue life of the spot welded joints. The proposed parameter is evaluated with fatigue test data of spot welds subjected to multi axial and tensile-shear loads. Sheppard's parameter and Rupp and co-workers' parameter are also evaluated with the same test data to compare with the author's parameter. This proposed parameter presents a better correlation with experimental fatigue data than those of Sheppard's and Rupp and co-workers' parameter. The proposed parameter should be very effective for durability calculations during the early design phase since coarsely meshed finite element models can be employed.

MPV 프레임의 피로수명 예측 (Fatigue Life Prediction of a Multi-Purpose Vehicle Frame)

  • Recently, for the development of vehicle structures and components there is a tendency to increase using numerical simulation methods compared with practical tests for the estimation of the fatigue strength. In this study, an integrated powerful methodology is suggested for fatigue strength evaluation through development of the interface program to integrate dynamic analysis quasi-static stress analysis and fatigue analysis, which were so far used independently. To verify the presented evaluation method, a single and zigzag bump run test, 4-post road load simulation and driving durability test have been performed. The prediction results show a good agreement between analysis and test. This research indicates that the integrated life prediction methodology can be used as a reliable design tool in the pre-prototype and prototype development stage, to reduce the expense and time of design iteration.

엔진마운트 고무부품의 내구 평가 및 동적 특성 예측 (Prediction of Durability, Static and Dynamic Properties on Rubber)

  • Rubber materials have the nonlinear, large deformation and viscoelastic behavior. W.D. Kim et al. studied these characteristics through the static, fatigue, dynamic, aging and viscoelastic test. This paper discussed that the properties of engine mounting rubber, such as static stiffness, fatigue life and damping factor, are predicted based on CAE by using material properties acquired by the report of Kim et al. In result, the static stiffness of engine mounting rubber is predicted approximately in comparison with test value. Also, it was confirmed that the relationship of fatigue life and Green-Lagrange strain in specimen was the valid tool to predict the fatigue life of engine mounting rubber. From the results of transient viscoelastic analysis the damping factor changed rapidly at the range less than 8hz.

궤도차량 현수장치 고압용 시일의 피로마모 개선 연구 (A Study on Fatigue Wear Improvement of High Pressure Seal for Tracked Vehicle Suspension)

  • In this paper, causes of wear on high pressure seals for suspension are analyzed, and the result of reproduction test and verification on improved design are described. First, by performing the observation of worn surfaces and its failure analysis, the primary cause of wear on the seals are analyzed. The result of analysis shows that the main failure mechanism of wear is a fatigue wear, and test criteria for failure reproduction are set up with consideration for frequency condition, surface roughness and pressure. Durability comparison test on the condition of low amplitude and high frequency is carried out. And, it is found that the durability of wear on seals by increasing hardness of cylinder and managing for surface roughness is enhanced.

  • Automatic transmission(A/T) is one of a car's core components. The durability of A/T has an effect on the durability of the car. The input shaft of A/T passes the power directly from the engine, so the durability of the input shaft for A/T is likewise vital. In this study, the test method of the input shaft is considered and the load spectrum of A/T is analyzed to secure durability of the input shaft. The shape parameter, T-N curve of the input shaft torsional fatigue test are obtained for life evaluation and analysis. Results of this study can be used to get the basic background of the durability test for A/T components.

찢김에너지를 이용한 자동차용 방진 부품의 내구수명 예측 (Fatigue Life Prediction for Automotive Vibroisolating Rubber Component Using Tearing Energy)

  • Recently, the demand to acquire and improve durability performance has steadily risen in rubber components design. In design process of a rubber component, an analytical prediction is the most effective way to improve fatigue life. Existing methods of analytical estimation have mainly used an equation for fatigue life obtained from fatigue test data. However, such formula is rarely used due to costs and time required for fatigue testing, as well as randomness of rubber materials. In this paper, we describe fatigue life estimation of rubber component using only the results from a relatively simple tearing test. We estimated fatigue life of the Janggu type fatigue specimen and the automotive motor mount, and evaluated reliability of the proposed method by comparing the estimated values with actual test results.

  • The Ultrasonic Nanocrystal Surface Modification (UNSM) technology improves the fatigue life of a torsion bar by inducing compressive residual stress on the surface layer. The UNSM is applied to replace the presetting method and shot peening technology. The torsion bar must be changed periodically because of a lack of durability and a phenomenon related to the stress relaxation. The torsion fatigue test specimens were made of DIN17221 material, and the results showed that the fatigue life was 5 times more than under durability test conditions. A comparison test between the commercial vehicles' presetting method and shot peened torsion bar and the UNSM torsion bar showed that the UNSM could replace the presetting method and shot peening.

  • In this paper, fatigue life analysis of each structure was performed through theoretical analysis method at design stage in order to verify the success or failure of the store's acoustic noise durability according to the Method 515.5 standard of MIL-STD-810F. In addition, experimental analysis was carried out through the ground and flight test by manufacturing the measuring store, and verification of the sound durability was completed through the flight test after manufacture of the actual store. Furthermore, the commercial FEM code through the PSD calculation method applying measured SPL enables verify the durability of new store components development for the future.
