A NEW NUMERICAL APPROXIMATION OF DIFFUSION FLUX IN UNSTRUCTURED CELL-CENTERED METHOD (비정렬 셀 중심 방법에서 확산플럭스의 새로운 수치근사방법)

  • The existing approximations of diffusion flux in unstructured cell-centered finite volume methods are examined in detail with each other and clarified to have indefinite expressions in several respects. A new numerical approximation of diffusion flux at cell face center is then proposed, which is second-order accurate even on irregular grids and may be easily implemented in CFD code using cell-centered finite volume method with unstructured grids composed of arbitrary convex polyhedral shape.

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 방법에 비하여 3차원 스캐너나 카메라를 이용하지 않고 비용과 노력을 크게 절감하면서 실감나는 얼굴 모델링을 효율적으로 수행하는 웹 기반 3차원 얼굴 모델러를 제안한다. 클라이언트측의 사용자가 본 시스템에 접속하면 자바 애플릿의 얼굴모델러가 실행되며, 사용자는 두 장의 사진을 입력으로 하여 웹브라우저만으로 3차원 얼굴 모델을 생성하게 된다.

Finite Element Analysis of Contact Pressure Behavior in Compression Ring-Oil Film (압축링-유막간의 접촉압력 거동에 관한 유한요소해석)

  • The contact pressure behavior is examined by means of a finite element analysis. The oil film between the piston ring and cylinder liner is analyzed on the basis that it behaves like a polymer material. The calculated results indicate that a shape of sloping edge with a straight line, which is designated as a Model III, shows a good performance on the contact pressure behavior for the increased speed. Obviously, the ring face profiles play an important role on the contact pressure between compression ring and oil film.

  • 본 논문에서는 스마트 미러 사용자의 얼굴 인식, 표정 인식, 얼굴형 인식을 활용하여 감정에 적절한 멘트와 화장법을 제공하는 시스템의 개발 내용에 관해 기술한다. 이 시스템을 사용함으로써 사람들은 자신의 감정을 정확하게 인지할 뿐만 아니라 위로와 공감을 받을 수 있으며, 자신의 스타일에 적절한 화장법을 추천받을 수 있다. 스마트 미러를 통해, 사용자는 자기 이해도가 늘어나게 되어 스스로에게 더욱 집중할 수 있고 화장법을 찾는 시간이나 화장에 실패할 가능성이 줄어들어 시간과 비용을 절약할 수 있게 될 것이다.

  • Recently, various building types such as Center-Core shape and Y-shape were studied as the demand for hight-rise residental complex increased. However, Center-Core type can make many Problems because the house unit can face to the north or west. Therefore, this study evaluated daylight conditions for four plan types in high-rise residental complex.

  • To study the function and structure of Golgi apparatus in the spermiogenesis of long-fingered bat (Miniopterus schreibersi fuliginosus), the testis obtained from adult bat was treated with the prolonged osmification or fixed with ferrocyanide reduced osmium. golgi apparatus was oval shape in early Golgi phase, and was composed of cortex and medullar enclosing acrosome in mid Golgi phase. The vesicles of crescent shape Golgi apparatus were closed or fused with small or large vesicles at the periphery of acrosome. Golgi apparatus moved behing the acrosome face in cap phase, but the Golgi apparatus was still active. According to this, Golgi apparatus appears to be involved in the formation of acrosome and sperm tail. Transfer of materials from Golgi to acrosme seems to be carried out not only by fusion of large vesicles with acrosomal vesicles but also by detachment of coated vesicle from various cisternae of Golgi fusing with acrosomal vesicle.

  • In machining with cutting tool inserts having complex chip groove shape the flow curl and breaking pattern of the chip are different than in flat-face inserts. In the present work an effort is made to understand the three basic phe-nomena occurring in a chip since its formation in machining with groove type and pattern type inserts. These are the ini-tial chip flow the subsequent development of up and side curl and the final chip breaking due to the development of tor-sional and bending stresses. in this paper chip flow angle in a groove type and pattern type inserts. The expres-sion for chip flow angle in groove type and pattern type inserts is also verified experimentally using high speed filming techniques.

  • In this paper, we propose a face detection algorithm using the color and shape information in color still images. The proposed algorithm is only applied to chrominance components(Cb and Cr) in order to reduce the variations of lighting condition in YCbCr color space. Input image is segmented by pixels with skin-tone color and then the segmented mage follows the morphological filtering an geometric correction to eliminate noise and simplify the segmented regions in facial candidate regions. Multiple facial regions in input images can be isolated by connected component labeling. Moreover tilting facial regions can be detected by extraction of second moment-based ellipse features.

  • In this paper, we propose an optimal thresholding method for the voxel coloring in the reconstruction of a 3D shape. Our purposed method is a new approach to resolve the trade-off error of the threshold value on determining the photo-consistency in the conventional method. Optimal thresholding value is decided to compare the surface voxel of photo-consistency with inside voxel on the optic ray of the center camera. As iterating the process of the voxels, the threshold value is approached to the optimal value for the individual surface voxel. And also, graph cut method is reduced to the surface noise on eliminating neighboring voxel. To verify the proposed algorithm, we simulated in the virtual and real environment. It is advantaged to speed up and accuracy of a 3D face reconstruction by applying the methods of optimal threshold and graph cut as compare with conventional algorithms.

  • This paper presents the method for detection and tracking of multiple humans robustly in mobile platform. The perception of human is performed in real time through the processing of images acquired from a moving stereo vision system. We performed multi-cue integration such as human shape, skin color and depth information to detect and track each human in moving background scene. Human shape is measured by edge-based template matching on distance transformed image. Improving robustness for human detection, we apply the human face skin color in HSV color space.
