Due to the emergence of open innovation driven by development of network service technologies and convergence in ICT service industry, It is necessary for ICT service firms to examine their capabilities for open innovation. The purpose of this paper is to empirically examine determinants affecting open innovation in Korean ICT service industry. In order to analyze, this paper uses logistic and multiple regression models based on survey data of Korean ICT service firms. Estimation results show that external network for collaboration is positive on the technological innovation activity regardless of the innovation type. Specifically, user networks are significant in all types of technology innovation, revealing that it is important to innovation activities of the ICT service firms.

The object of this work is to develop an assessment system for pipeline integrity The system consists of four module applications for internal algorithm; the effect of corrosion in pipeline, crack, stress corrosion crack (SCC) and fatigue modules. Presently, the module of the external corrosion has been developed and the internal algorithm for the effect of corrosion in pipeline and the database of the system are described in this paper, The database of the system is separated to mainly four parts; geometry of pipeline, material properties, boundary conditions and general Properties. Each components of the system are designed by user-friendly concept. This system may give a guideline for maintenance and modifications for the pipeline at the industrial sight. Furthermore, a procedure to evaluate an inspection interval is also provided.

본 연구는 유비쿼터스 시대의 도서관 환경에 관하여 다각도로 검토하고 도서관 경영 전략을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구와 관련된 자료를 통해 우리나라도서관의 내외부의 환경을 조사하고 이를 바탕으로 보다 종합적인 도서관 경영전략을 마련하였다. 연구 결과 유비쿼터스 시대의 도서관의 발전을 위한 경영 전략으로 첫째, 도서관의 하이브리화 전략, 둘째, 콘텐트 확충 전략, 셋째, 이용자 서비스 다각화 전략, 넷째, 도서관의 조직 개편 및 학습조직문화 조성 전략, 다섯째, 도서관의 기금 모집 전략이 제안되었다.

본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 대학도서관 정보망 환경상에서 구현될 정보시스템의 이론적인 틀을 구성한 다음 정보시스템 모형의 일부 기능을 멀티미디어 저작 도구를 가지고 실제 구현해 보았다. 시스템 모형은 JANUS Virtual Library, The Book House등과 같은 실제 시스템들을 기초로하여 구성하였고 시스템 구현에 사용된 지식베이스는 참고사서들과의 면담을 통해 얻은 데이터를 이용하여 구축하였다. 구현된 시스템은 참고 전문가시스템, 학술지 브라우징, 멀티미디어 데이타베이스, 온라인 열람목록, 외부 데이타베이스, 이용 안내의 6개의 모듈로 구성된다. 결론에서는 멀티미디어 대학도서관 정보망을 구현하기 위해서 해겨해야 할 문제점들을 제시하였다.

A railway station is a place where the railway operator concretize his marketing policy to meet the internal and external changes of a railway. Hence the analysis on the railway stations could give some useful information on the conditions which influence the shape of railway station. The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of Japanese railway stations. This study shows that the influencing factors on the shape of Japanese railway stations are as follows: invitation of investment from outside the japanese railway, necessity to define measures against the cut off the urban fabric by the railway facilities, profitability of the railway operator by the creation of subsidiary business, integration of administrative or public function into the station building. And the future of Japanese railway stations is now preparing by the policies on the accessibility and commodity of users and by the research projects on the environmental quality, user satisfaction.

Virtualization lacks capabilities for enabling the application to scale efficiently because of new applications components which are raised to be configured on demand. In this paper, we propose an architecture that affords mobile app based on nomadic smartphone using not only mobile cloud computing-cloudlet architecture but also a dedicated platform that relies on using virtual private mobile networks to provide reliable connectivity through Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless communication. The design architecture lies with how the cloudlet host discovers service and sends out the cloudlet IP and port while locating the user mobile device. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture by implementing an android application responsible of real time analysis by using a vehicle to applications smart phones interface approach that considers the smartphones to act as a remote users which passes driver inputs and delivers outputs from external applications.

This paper presents Static Synchronous Series Compensator(SSSC) model for power flow study using IPLAN. In the proposed model, SSSC is represented by the equivalent load variation. The equivalent load consists of active power load specified by user and reactive power load which is founded for considering characteristic of SSSC. And this is implemented by IPLAN which is a macro-external program for PSS/E. Using this model, SSSC can be solved in load-flow by just calling the model in PSS/E. The proposed model was applied to a realistic power system for validity test.

Usability study of the CU Medical "i-PAD" AED was conducted to validate the usability of the device, primarily focused on the trained user as well as the utility of the training material. Comparing these results of the trained participants to those obtained by Callejas et al. (2004), who studied video-trained users of two commercially available Philips AEDs (FR2 and HS1) using a male manikin only, the participants in this study were more successful (100% vs. 85.7%-FR2 vs. 88.9%-HS1) and faster to shock (58.5s-i-PADvs. 91s-FR2 vs. 90s- HS1). While the focus of this study was on validating ease of use for trained bystanders, the results of the untrained condition showed that, from a usability perspective, these devices perform as well as any other AEDs already approved and available for purchase for untrained bystander use, as evidenced by the comparison to various published research results

In this paper, the thermomechanical responses of shape memory alloy (SMA) actuators and their applications as the shape adaptive structures combining SMA actuators produced in the form of strip with composite structures are investigated. The numerical algorithm of the 3-D SMA thermomechanical constitutive equations based on Lagoudas model is implemented to analyze the unique characteristics of SMA strip. Also, the incremental SMA constitutive equations are implemented in the user subroutine UMAT by using ABAQUS finite element program. The shape change of structure is caused by initially strained SMA strip bonded on the surface of the composite structure when thermally activated. Numerical results show that SMA strip actuator can generate enough recovery force to deform the composite structure and sustain the deformed shape subjected to large external load, simultaneously.

In this paper, we propose a new addressing mode, which can be used for programmable image processor to perform image- processing algorithms effectively. Conventional addressing modes are suitable for one-dimensional data processing such as voice, but the proposed addressing mode consider two-dimensional characteristics of image data. The proposed instruction for two-dimensional addressing requires two operands to specify a pixel and doesn't require any change of memory architecture. Combining several instructions to load a pixel-data from an external memory to a register, the proposed instruction reduces code size so that satisfy hish performance and low power requirements of image processor. In addition, it uses inherent two-dimensional characteristics of image data and offers user-friendly instruction to assembler programmer.
