  • AR service using the client-server method and existing physical markers(eg, OR Codes, etc.) causes a delay in the playback time of the contents because the contents download is executed after the marker recognition. In the case of the one-time installation method rather than the client-server method, proactive download of high-capacity contents for playback may cause an inefficiency of the storage space of the device(eg, smartphone, etc.). Therefore, in AR contents playback based on beacon's RSSI to secure the efficiency of the playback device storage space and to quickly play AR contents. The technique for high-speed playback in this study can be applied to various fields such as MICE exhibition using beacon signal.

  • In this research, we describe the method of implementing a 360-degree panorama using one projector, in terms of hardware and in the production of projected pre-distortion images. We propose a method of installing a projector and a reflector on the central ceiling of the space to minimize the shadows generated based on the position of the spectators. We used a virtual camera and virtual space where the projector and hemisphere positions were set to the same as in the exhibition space in Unity. After the image projected on the screen was mapped on the wall of the virtual space, the pre-distortion image was created by the method of capturing from the virtual camera using the ray tracing technique. When the produced pre-distortion image is hemispherical reflected and projected by the projector installed at the same position as the virtual camera, the image is reflected and projected 360 degrees on the panoramic screen.

  • This study suggests the estimation of the demand for the exhibition center in Busan and to valid reasons for the establishment of the 2nd Convention Center in Busan. The validity for the estimated demand is acquired by examining the studies conducted by the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Energy. The qualitative data for the phased establishment of the area is suggested in accordance to the results of the demand estimation. From previous study(Oh, 2017), Kangseo-gu, Busan has been evaluated to be the final candidate for building a new convention center in the city of Busan. The potential synergy effects of on-going developmental projects in Kangseo region is one of the influential factors for the MICE professionals' opinion in the qualitative analysis. Moreover, the region has available land to hold the facility of more than 100,000 square meter to overcome the current drawback of BEXCO, insufficient space to hold large events. Lastly, the expansion of Gimhae International Airport would bring an increased international flights that would also lead to an increase in MICE industry for the region. The virtual effect of the more than one million $m^2$-sized oconvention center is examined via Huff Model and the results suggests a logical estimated data for further demand needed for the south east regions, not just within the city of Busan.

  • Nosong-dong is used to be center of the administration, education and transportation in Jeonju. It has ironically been the location of the city's prostitution quarter 'called Seonmichon'. This place is recently selected as an area of urban regeneration by Jeonju. The project has involved numerous programs which gradually transfer this place for the women's rights and arts. This paper focuses on exploring the socio-cultural meanings of a community museum, an archive for gender equality, and an exhibition site for local artists. The Seonmichon quarter has long been stigmatized as an area of ill repute and regarded with contempt by the surrounding neighborhood. It is space where polarized interests are entangled. City authority has tried to reflect this by presenting a variety of perspectives on the Seonmichon district. An initiative of the community museum has been its hosting of several exhibitions around the themes of women's rights and community arts. The most remarkable aspect of the exhibitions that have taken place in the heart of the Seonmichon district has been the active participation of local community residents as a catalyst for progressive social change. The paper's overall purpose is to provide an introduction and analyze the process of development of the exhibition initiative, and further examine the social role and meaning of the community museum in Nosong-dong, as well as its future tasks and directions.

  • This paper intends to focus on the practical activities and historical significance of network art, that is, 'net art' as an artistic form that depends on network technology. This is because the appearance of net art, which constructs a new interactive art that cooperates and exchanges with each other beyond the boundaries of time and space, can be a contemporary alternative in overcoming the limitations of traditional art. Another important research area to be considered in this paper is net art curating, as well as considering the significance of net art in art history. As new media art that is defined as a 'process' rather than a complete object, net art is a digital art that requires functions such as aesthetic appropriation, dissemination, and mediation performed online, unlike physical presentations with high perfection in exhibition halls. It is accompanied by a new social and cultural curatorial. This appearance requires both artists and curators to reorganize the strategy that net art curating in technoculture should have. Therefore, this paper attempts to question the creative strategies of net art in the wave of globalization in the 21st century, and to examine the artistic meaning and critical value of the experimental net art curatorial method that emerged through the realm of new technology and media. For this purpose, this paper demonstrated key examples of net art works and exhibition projects that started with Fluxus in the 1960s and are spreading all over the world in the 2000s.

  • As contemporary art tends to diverge from its fixed genres and intends to appeal to the public, fashion comes to contribute to the contemporary art area, by playing an important part in the creation of artistic value of art work. Nowadays, it is not unusual to see fashion work shown in an art exhibition parallel with art work, since some artists adopt costumes as the medium of their work in order to explore various means of expression. The occurrence of philosophical, sociological theories concerning human body parallelled with the prevalence of the post-structuralist ideas and occurrence of various styles of artistic expressions of body encouraged active research and attracted social attention to body. With such background, fashion art was formed by a means of the integration of body and fashion in order to create extreme artistic expression. 1 intend to investigate a variety of trends in fashion art from the viewpoint of body space. This study developed criteria for fashion image in contemporary art. Those criteria are based on the dichotomy that divides body into inner aspects and outer aspects. According to the criteria, Firstly, the extension type of body shape includes enlargement and reduction as its sub-types. Secondly, the opening-closure type includes opening type and closure type as its sub-types. Thirdly, the intensity type categorizes clothes into uniqueness and hybridity. Dynamism type classifies fashion art into fixation and moving. The various expressions of clothes type are interpreted as a means by which we can criticize many phenomena of modern society, such as loss of humanity, isolation of individuals, loss of identity, commercialism, and materialism. In the latter period of modern society, the integration of the double-faced nature of body and spirit was attempted and popular fashion was introduced into art in order to express desire, death, gender, identity, and sexual pleasure.

  • Louisiana Museum of Modern Art near Copenhagen is the most visited art museum in Denmark. It was originally founded by the director of the time, Knud W. Jensen and designed by two Danish architects, Vilhelm Wohlert and J${\o}$rgen Bo. The first part of the museum was built and opened to the public in 1958. The first part consisted of just a few exhibition spaces and glass corridors. But museum has been expanded step by step into a large park-like museum throughout 40 years of time. Louisiana museum has a unique environment in which art, architecture and nature are inter-related together. There was a very clear background for this museum atmosphere that was created by Knud W. Jensen from the very beginning. He wanted to make 'a sculptural park' or 'a low pavilion in the park'. The concept of 'park' was the key element. The architects, especially Vilhelm Wohlert who studied at the western area of the United States and influenced by the bay area architecture as well as the oriental wooden structure, interacted with the director's idea fully and made an invisible architecture in which 'Experience of Space' is the most important aspect. This thesis aims to analyze several crucial spaces of the museum and to find a hidden design characteristics. Chapter 2&3 explains general backgrounds and main design philosophy. Chapter 4 studies each parts' spatial experience and design methods with 3-dimensional diagrams. Chapter 5 tries to make an overall design characteristics that underlines the whole museum environment. The significance of Louisiana museum is not only in the fact that it is the most visited, but also in the fact that the role of architecture is to make a better environment where human and art are harmonized together within nature. The utopian idea of the founder started in doubt almost 50 years ago has been already successful in this small but vibrant park.

  • In this paper, we will present a deeper look on optimal design methods that are related to path-planning for a mobile robot. To control the motion of a mobile robot in a clustered environment, it's necessary to know a suitable trajectory assuming certain start and goal point. Up to now, there are many literatures that concern optimal path planning for an obstacle avoided mobile robot. Among those literatures, we have chosen 2 novel methods for our further analysis. The first approach [4] is based on HJB(Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman) equation whose solution is the return-function that helps to generate a shortest path to the goal. The later [5] is called polynomial-path-planning approach, in this method, a shortest polynomial-shape path would become a solution if it was a collision-free path. The camera network plays the role as sensors to generate updated map which locates the static and dynamic objects in the space. Therefore, the exhibition of both path planning and dynamic obstacle avoidance by the updated map would be accomplished simultaneously. As we mentioned before, our research will include the motion control of a true mobile robot on those optimal planned paths which were generated by above algorithms. Base on the kinematic and dynamic simulation results, we can realize the affection of moving speed to the stable of motion on each generated path. Also, we can verify the time-optimal trajectory through velocity tuning. To simplify for our analysis, we assumed the obstacles are cylindrical circular objects with the same size.
