  • After the Industrialization of 1960s, while it has greatly contributed to the industrial development owing to acceleration of mechanization, but it is real situation that the countermeasure to Noise Damage generating at the loud noise workshop is scarcely made. Especially, the Instrument-Noise made at factory and workplace is so shocking and repeatedly reiterating terrible noise that most of the spot workers are forcedly imposing such dangers as the severe unpleasant feeling and hearing impairments. On such point of view, this Research has attempted to extract the proper Rating Vocabulary in order for valuation on Instrument Noise made at the terrible noise-workplace, therefore it is considering that those extracted Vocabularies could be utilized as the useful materials for appraisal on Instrument Noise, also for establishment of Regulation-Standard with regard to Acoustic Psychology Experimentation and Instrument Noise.

  • These days, Emotional Design is on the sustainable development through activity study thogh, until now, the study proceed too far with Sensibility Ergonomics applied to SD. However, on this paper, the study would be make progress through GSD that it applied to Verb. For this reason, applied to Emotional Design consideration of theory through JOAN MEYERS-LEVY's papaer titled "The Influence of Ceiling Height", Laban Movement Analysis and Aspect of Semiotics and then judgement of GSD would be make progress through experiment to collection of Emotional Vocabularies and evaluation of body movement. There is a method of analysis by using statistical program such as SPSS 18.0 and it would have validity of analysis. Here is a result of this study. According to heights of ceiling types(2.4M, 3.0M) there are differences between behavior of Figure Attachment, Emotional Vocabularies of the event and Body Movement. While the Figure Attachment has a tendency to restricted scope, CH has a tendency to make attachment within the scope. You could see the Negative Adjective for Emotional Vocabularies at CL and the Positive Adjective ranges at the CH. Basic body movement for passive, 'moving' and 'stretching' as shown at CL more than the CH. For active movement which has purpose, 'moving the weight' and 'stretching' as shown at CH more than at CL.

  • In this study, the Model of Emotion Evaluation, an emotional analysis actively applied in environmental assessment, was divided into two parts, the abbreviated model and the inferential model, through pilot study and experiment. In addition, an analysis was conducted through the experiment on the attributes of the evaluation vocabularies of two additional types of representative models, the EPA Model and PAD Model, and the results show a huge difference in the development approach and lexical constitution of the two models. It was also identified through factor analysis that the vocabularies were abbreviated according to the respective models. Similarity relationships were analyzed using multidimensional scaling and the results show that mutual relationship was established to some degree. Based on this, we can conclude that, rather than a biased use of the Model of Emotion Evaluation in emotion evaluation, a more objective image analysis is possible by analyzing the characteristics of the model before applying it. In this study, the evaluation target was confined only to the environmental assessment of streetscape and continuous research on the Model of Emotion Evaluation that allows for the comparison of evaluation models in various areas is needed.

  • In this study the drainage noises were investigated for the subjective allowing limitation and the testified classes. 7 point scale was selected to evaluate the annoyance level with vocabularies. As a result, 'a little annoying' is the most suitable expression for the allowing limitation, and the sound pressure levels for the urinal was 43.5㏈ and the bathtub was 44.6㏈.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation between the exterior environmental factors and sensibility responses in apartment housing estates. The finding of the study may be summerized as follow: 1) The method of analysis was that the adequacy of 214 sensibility vocabularies primarily drawn were analyzed by the evaluation group through questionnaire. As a result of factor analysis on them, 36 sensibility vocabularies were finally drawn and used as a tool for evaluation. 2) 22 elements were drawn as physical elements that shows sensibility responses according to residential complexes and classified roughly into five factors; the architectural factor, the rest space, the horizontal system, the design factor, and the annexed facilities. 3) The average score for sensibility items by complexes suggested that the sensibility contents would vary depending on the physical conditions of facilities by complexes. 4) It was shown that the percentages of sensibility responses by physical structural elements were 50.7% for the rest space, 24.1% for the design factor, 13.7% for the architectural factor, 8.1% for the annexed facilities, and 3.2% for the horizontal system. 5) The analysis of relation between the physical elements and the sensibility contents showed that the sensibility contents such as 'emotions', 'comfortable', 'luxury', 'symbolic', and 'intimate', had a positive relation with the physical elements such as the entrance of a complex, design element, artistic structures, and kindergarten facilities but a negative relation with the physical elements such as the shape of buildings, walkways, and separate garbage collection yards.

  • For the comfortable housing life, an urban environment should give comfort and pleasantness to people living in house and in city. There are lots of environmental conditions in city affecting house and life and most of all the noise pollution have been become factor that makes people's life hard without need to say. Recently researches have been performed to create comfortable urban environment and a study on the evaluation of urban environmental sounds is now undergoing. This study aimed to analyse the subjective characteristics through the subjective evaluation to the sounds measured with physical parameters and eventually to find out evaluation method for urban environmental sounds. Vocabularies applied to previous studies were used for the subjective evaluation and sound sources recorded in specific places were presented with picture at the same time.

  • There are various types of noise around us such as road traffic noise, aircraft noise and floor impact sound, equipment noise, etc. Researches on the noise criteria and the evaluation method for the diffuser noise of HVAC are insufficient. dB(A) and NC values represented in ASHRAE guide book are applied as a noise criteria for diffuser noise, which have some problems like that the values between dB(A) and NC have deviation even if the sound is same one. Therefore, the evaluation method should be considered and proposed based on the subjective responses. From these reasons, this study aimed to analyze the evaluation factors for the diffuser noise of HVAC reflected on the subjective responses by surveying vocabularies and grouping them with factor analysis.

  • Unlike traditional lightings, LED lighting is one of objects that sends user an emotional segments through brightness control from various color temperature and dimming control. Also, within present interior lighting environment, emotional researches about traditional fluorescent lamp and newly implemented LED lighting environment are in active progress. Despite the fact adjectives describing emotions and scale modeling have been repeatedly used in many cases for a long time, there seems to be a lack of results in reliability, and there is a limitation for applying into actual lighting design. The purpose of this study is to construct an actual sized test-bed, which is used to draw out one's emotional words of behavior patterns from inner emotional experiences about lighting environment in an office space. Also, having fluorescent lamp and LED lighting as the main test subjects, we have tested emotional parts according to the changes of color temperature and adjective vocabularies chosen from user's action, and we have compared and analyzed the drawn out data. • The purpose of this study is to propose the proper vocabularies for evaluating H.D TV set fan noise. To achieve this goal, psycho-acoustic experiments were carried out with TV set fan noise modulated at specific frequency band. Finally, a correlation analysis between vocabularies, and a factor analysis of psycho-acoustical responses were conducted. As a result of this study, followings are suggested. Analyzing the psycho-acoustical response corresponding to the various sound level, the higher the sound levels, the higher the response values were. It is estimated that the sound level determined psycho-acoustical responses. On the degree of response to fan noise, the initial level of negative feeling is located on $35{\sim}40$ dB(A). The factor of evaluating H.D. TV set fan noise has induced three the appropriate korean adjectives; Irritate, Monotonous, stuffy and dryness. The result of this study may be used to evaluate the acoustic threshold level for indoor noise or a basis for specifying the desired acoustic environment of dwellings.
