This study analyzes the economic impact of the shipping and port logistics industry in Gwangyang Bay Area on the regional economy. For this purpose, the study constructs an input-output table of 29 sectors for 2010 in the area. The main findings are as follows. In terms of production, value added, and share of employment, the regional shipping and port logistics industry accounts for approximately 10.8 percent, 6.0 percent, and 2.9 percent of the national shipping and port logistics industry, respectively. Moreover, the economic impact of the industry on the regional economy is estimated to be an increase in terms of production of about 6 trillion Korean won), to be an increase in value added of about 2.5 million Korean won, and an increase of about 16,000 in employment. Furthermore, the industry is found to have strong inter-industry linkages with the main manufacturing as well as the main producer service industries.
This purpose of this paper is to study the economic effects of port-liquid freight by focusing on Korea port and induce its policy implication. For this, 29 sectors' input-output tables with port-logistic sector as an individual sector is constructed. The direct industrial effects of port-liquid freight are analysed to be an increase in about 3.6billion dollars' worth of production of the port-logistic industry, an increase in about 1.98billion dollars' worth of value-added of the industry, and the creation of about 11,589 employment in the industry. Including the indirect effects, the total effects on Korea economy are estimated to be an increase in about 4.9 billion dollar's worth of production, an increase in about 2.4 billion dollars' worth of value-added and an increase in about 17,746 employment. The total effects of port-liquid freight on Korea economy is about 2.5-3.0% of that of port-logistic total freight. the results suggest tkat thought economic effects of port-liquid freightare not large, we have to focus on policy support for port of port-liquid freight.
This study was performed to determine the sensory evaluation and mechanical characteristics of lemon red ginseng-pyun. Lemon red ginseng-pyun was made with lemon juice(21.4%), sweet potato starch(6.7%), water(53.3%), sugar(13.3%), honey(5.3%) and various concentrations of red ginseng powder(0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10%). The quality characteristics of the sample were estimated in terms of pH, color difference, texture profile analysis and sensory evaluation. The pH of lemon red ginseng-pyun showed no significant difference among the different ratios of red ginseng. With increasing red ginseng powder addition, the lightness was significantly(p<0.05) lower, and a value and b values were significantly(p<0.05) higher. In sensory evaluation, with increasing red ginseng powder addition, the color and bitter taste of lemon red ginseng-pyun were stronger, while clarity of the 10% added red ginseng was significantly(p<0.05) lower than that of the 0% added red ginseng. Elasticity, hardness, chewiness, softness. sweet taste and overall acceptability were not significantly different in any group. In texture profile analysis, chewiness, cohesiveness, gumminess and hardness were significantly(p<0.05) increased in the 10% added red ginseng but springiness was not significantly different in any group. Overall acceptability was related to texture, appearance, overall taste and sweet taste of lemon red ginseng-pyun. Therefore, development of lemon red ginseng-pyun with no sugar or artificial sweeteners is encouraged as a healthy diet for diabetes and hypertension patients, because red ginseng is defined as a functional foods.
In this study, brown rice and germinated brown rice which has various medical action and excellent functionality, was used together with Jeung-pyun to compare and analyze the changes according to the amount 50, 100%. This study is intended to be used for the healthy food and spread to that was executed to find out the merchandising potential of this Jeung-pyun. The Jeung-pyun was added to brown rice and germinated brown rice of moisture content was 50.23~51.70% the similar to content. For chromaticity to L(lightness) value, a(redness) value and b(yellowness) value, L value of GBR2 was low at 58.84. a value was showed the highest GBR at 0.64. For texture, Hardness was showed the highest GBR2. Springiness was showed the highest BR2. Chewiness was showed the highest Control at 4.33. As for adhesiveness, there was showed the highest GBR2 at 0.30 and showed significant difference between samples. Overall-acceptability was the order of good in the estimated: GBR1>BR2>BR1>GBR2>C. Based on this study, from the physico-chemical and sensual perspective, For the preference of GBR1 was most preferred for flavor, color and taste, sensory evalution and considered suitable the best method for adding brown rice and germinated brown rice into Jeung-pyun.

This study was carried out to investigate the changes in the quality properties of red pepper Yukwa (red pepper liquid fermented with lactic acid bacteria was added to the Yukwa) during the storage period. To determine the shelf life of red pepper Yukwa, the rice Yukwa (control) and red pepper Yukwa were stored at 15, 25, and $35^{\circ}C$ for 70 days. Also, the quality properties of red pepper Yukwa, such as acid value, peroxide value, texture, color, and sensory evaluation were measured. Although the acid value of rice Yukwa and red pepper Yukwa increased during storage, the red pepper Yukwa showed a lower acid value score (1.09mg KOH/g) than that (1.19mg KOH/g) of the rice Yukwa. Nevertheless, these values did not exceed the guideline maximum values of 2.0 g KOH/g specified in the Korean Food Code. The peroxide values of samples had significantly increased after 42 days. Especially, the peroxide value scores for the rice Yukwa and red pepper Yukwa were the highest at 146.49 and 126.79 meq/kg at $35^{\circ}C$, respectively. Hardness and brittleness in textural properties increased up to 70 days. The sensory values for the red pepper Yukwa for overall acceptance, taste;texture and appearance were the highest. The results indicated that by using the 'Visual Shelf life Simulator for foods' of the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) the shelf life of red pepper Yukwa is estimated to be 274.78 days.
Up to date, the economic feasibility analysis on land consolidation and on-farm development projects were mainly depended upon the direct benefits from market value of project outputs. Therefore the projects were neglected in allocation of the government's financial funds and loans on account of undervaluation of the project benefits including socio-economic and environmental values of the projects. Accordingly the Extended Benefit Cost Analysis Method should be adapted to cover not only the benefits such as non-market values of environmental functions of the projects and but also the economic market values of the project outputs. The main objectives of this study is (1) to provision of the guideline for economic feasibility analysis based on the IBRD and ADB guidelines, (2) to estimate the benefits such as Productivity increase effect, labor saving effect, off-farm income increase effect during off-farm season, saving of O&M cost of farm mechanization, enhance of farmer's public health, increase of environmental public function of paddy fields, effect of food security and establishment of peaceful and uncontroversial rural society by implementing the land consolidation and on-farm development, (3) to introduce the newly adapted analytical method as the extended benefit cost analysis which could make possible the analysis of non-market goods such as the food security value and the environmental public value of paddy fields. To carry out the study, the publication on the guideline for economic analysis of agricultural projects were reviewed and consulted and for the post evaluation of the land consolidation and on-farm development project, field survey in Jeongja area were made for the feasibility study of the project by new method. According to the initial project plan, Jeongja land consolidation and on-farm development project has 96ha of benefit area and the project was started in 1989 and completed in the spring, 1990. The total project costs were amounted to 1,052 million won and the annual project benefits were estimated at 135.4 million in 1989 constant market prices. On the other hand, the newly estimated project benefits as a part of post evaluation of the project were amounted to 602.1 million won including all the benefits from the market and non-market commodities of the project as mentioned above column. The original IRP(Internal rate of return) of the project was estimated at 15.81%. On the other hand, the IRR of the post evaluation of the project was amounted to 16.83%. In case of including the benefit from the environment public function of paddy field, the SRR(Social Rate of Return) was reached to 38.81% and when we added the benefit from food security of the project, the SRR showed very high rate as 46.41%. In conclusion, the project were verified socio-economically feasible and environmentally sustainable considering the above decision making criteria.
This study attempted to estimate the amount of expenditure per capita of visitors to the Mongsanpo fishing village tourism festival, and quantitatively measure how much the festival contributes to the local and national economy through input-output model. The analysis data used 302 questionnaires, excluding missing questionnaires, surveyed on festival visitors from April 21 to May 7, 2018, during the 9th Mongsanpo port webfoot octopus and seafood festival. The main results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, analyzing the average expenditure per person of festival visitors, it shows that the average one-person festival visitor consumes KRW 129,519: entertainment costs KRW 5,672 (4.4%), accommodation costs KRW 16,860 (13.0%), food costs KRW 74,791 (57.7%), transportation costs KRW 21,646 (16.7%), shopping costs KRW 6,788 (5.2%), and other costs KRW 3,762 (2.9%). Among the expenditures of festival visitors, the proportion of food expenses was the highest, and transportation costs and accommodation costs were in order. Second, based on the actual expenses spent by visitors at the fishing village tourism festival, the direct economic effect of the Mongsanpo fishing village festival was estimated be approximately KRW 14.8 billion. Third, as a direct and indirect economic impact effect of the Mongsanpo fishing village tourism festival in 2018, the amount of production induced in the local and national economies was estimated at KRW 33.3 billion, and the amount of value-added inducement was estimated at 11.3 billion won, and employment inducement reached 272 people, which is considered to contribute greatly to the national economy. This study quantitatively analyzes and provides the extent to which the fishing village tourism festival using local specialized fisheries directly or indirectly contribute to the local and national economy. Thus, it is expected to serve as useful information by providing basic information on business feasibility required for budgeting for local fishing tourism festivals.

This paper suggests a genuine method to estimate the agglomeration effects of Industrial Cluster focusing on the FOODPOLIS (KOREA NATIONAL FOOD CLUSTER). In this study, we will focus on two issues related to the clustering effect. First, Clusters affect productivity, and a cluster allows companies to operate more productively in inputs; accessing technology, human resource, information, services, and needed institutions. Second, we assume that the effects of Industrial Cluster can be estimated from measurement on differency of an added value between large-scale enterprises and smaller ones. To demonstrate effectiveness of this approach, the estimated effect was compared with that from the related study (A Mini-Cluster). Industry Clusters have been considered as critical factors for regional competitiveness and economic revitalization. For this, the government and local government should find a way and strategy to provide useful contents that can attract the participation of firms and to secure strategic positioning and competition strategies.

In this study, it is an object to develop a regression model for the estimation of TOC (total organic carbon) concentration using investigated data for three years from 2010 to 2012 in the Gam Stream unit watershed, and applied in 2009 to verify the applicability of the regression model. TOC and $COD_{Mn}$ (chemical oxygen demand) were appeared to be derived the highest correlation. TOC was significantly correlated with 5 variables including BOD (biological oxygen demand), discharge, SS (suspended solids), Chl-a (chlorophyll a) and TP (total phosphorus) of p<0.01. As a result of PCA (principal component analysis) and FA (factor analysis), COD, TOC, SS, discharge, BOD and TP have been classified as a first factor. TOCe concentration was estimated using the model developed as an independent variable $BOD_5$ and $COD_{Mn}$. R squared value between TOC and measurement TOC is 0.745 and 0.822, respectively. The independent variable were added step by step while removing lower importance variable. Based on the developed optimal model, R squared value between measurement value and estimation value for TOC was 0.852. It was found that multiple independent variables might be a better the estimation of TOC concentration using the regression model equation(in a given sites).
Bovine serum albumin(BSA) was solubilized into the reverse micellar phase consisting of sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate(AOT) and isooctane using the phase transfer method. Of particular interest in this study were the effects of pH and the added salt type and concentration on the solubilization efficiency. When univalent or divalent salts such as KCl, NaCl, $MgCl_2$, or $CaCl_2$ were added to the aqueous phase at a concentration of 0.1 M, maximum solubilization efficiency was attained at a pH ranging from 5 to 7, depending on the added salt type. Increased salt concentration up to 1 M resulted in an increased solubilization efficiency for $CaCl_2$ and NaCl, while the addition of $MgCl_2$ beyond 0.1 M showed an anomalous trend. Further, it was noteworthy that too a large extent the protein precipitated in the interface between the organic and aqueous phases at lower pHs and lower salt concentrations. The size of the reverse micelle water pool was estimated by measuring the molar ratio of the surfactant to the water, $W_0$. Irrespective of pH in the aqueous phase, the resulting value of $W_0$ was almost constant, eg., 20 for $MgCl_2$ . However, the value of $W_0$ decreased with increased salt concentration in the cases of KCl and $CaCl_2$.
