초음파의 파형 해석에 의한 고감쇠 재료의 평가 (Evaluation of High Attenuation Material Using Utrasonic Wave Analysis)

  • 본 논문은 초음파법을 이용하여 소결 재료의 비파괴적인 평가 방법을 확립하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 소결 재료의 밀도는 소결체로 제작되는 동안 금형과 분말사이의 마찰 때문에 부분적으로 불균질한 분포를 가지고 있으며 이 불균질성은 에너지 감쇠 계수 및 초음파 반사 에코의 주파수 스펙트럼에 있어 중심 주파수의 변화량에 의해 조사되었다. 초음파의 속도, 탄성계수, 포와송 비는 소결 재료의 밀도와 비례 관계에 있었으며 저면 반사파의 중심 주파수는 초음파의 전파 거리의 증가 및 밀도의 감소에 따라 저주파수 쪽으로 이동하였으나 에너지 감쇠 계수는 밀도의 증가에 따라 감소하고 있었다. 본 논문에서는 반사파의 주파수 스펙트럼에 있어 중심 주파수의 변화가 소결 재료의 비파괴적인 평가 방법으로써의 가능성을 보여주고 있다.

GCST를 이용한 인간시각필터의 영상 잡음 제거 (Image Denoising of Human Visual Filter Using GCST)

  • 영상향상 방법 중의 하나인 잡음제거는 공간영역과 변환영역 필터링에 대해서 많은 연구가 되어 왔다. 최근에는 에너지 집중도가 탁월하고 다분해능 성질을 갖는 웨이브릿 변환이 많이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 최종 사용자가 인간인 경우에는 인간시각체계에 기반한 변환을 사용하는 것이 시각적으로 유용하므로, 본 논문에서는 인간시각필터로 고려되는 Gabor 코사인과 사인 함수를 이용한 변환을 영상 잡음제거 분야에 적용하였다. 제안한 방법은 웨이브릿 변환과 다른 종류의 인간시각필터인 Gaussian 미분 변환에 대해서 피크신호대잡음비로 잡음제거 성능을 비교하였다. 여러 가지 잡음의 3가지 레벨에 대해서 실제 영상의 실험으로부터 제안한 변환이 BWT와 DGT보다 PSNR이 각각 0.41, 0.14dB 더 좋은 결과를 얻었다.

  • In automotive industries, various processes for the cost reduction have been investigated lively. As one of them, powder metallurgy becomes influential. Compared to other methods used for he manufacture of steel components the Powder metallurgy process is competitive primarily due to the small number of production steps to reach the final geometry and thereby also the energy-efficiency. In this paper, to alter present forging process into powder metallurgy process by which the automotive clutch disc spline hub is manufactured machining process, the mechanical properties of sintered materials is investigated by specimen test. Selecting the 3 kinds of materials-SMF 4040, SMF 9060 and DHP-1, their properties according to heat treatment such as carburizing -tempering and plasma-nitrodizing are compared. By result of specimen test - tensile test, compression ring test, Impacting test, measurment of hardness, and microstructure analysis - we concluded that SMF 9060 and carburizing-tempering heat treatment is an optimal material and heat treatment method for the spline hub. It will be able to reduce manufacturing cost and weight.

  • 본 논문에서는 멀티웨이브릿 필터뱅크를 이용한 임베디드 제로 트리구조의 영상압축 기법을 제안한다. 멀티웨이브릿은 두 채널의 필터 뱅크를 갖는 새로운 방법의 DGHM스케일링 함수와 웨이브릿 함수를 사용한다. 임베디드 제로 트리 코딩은 영상압축을 위하여 사용한다. 각 스케일링 및 웨이브릿 함수는 두 개의 필터뱅크를 사용한다. DGHM 멀티웨이브릿의 중요한 특성은 직교성과 근사화 차수이다. 본 논문에서 사용한 DGHM 멀티웨이브릿은 근사화 차수가 2인 높은 에너지 압축성과 완전복원을 가진다. DGHM 멀티웨이브릿을 사용한 영상압축은 단일 Daubechies 웨이브릿(D4), 쌍직교 웨이브릿, 및 GHM 멀티웨이브릿 보다 압축율에 대한 우수한 PSNR을 가진다.

  • This paper proposed signal decomposition and multiresolution representation through wavelet transform using wavelet orthonormal basis. And it suggested most appropriate filter for scaling function in multiresoltion representation and compared two compression method, arithmetic coding and Huffman coding. Results are as follows 1. Daub18 coefficient is most appropriate in computing time, energy compaction, image quality. 2. In case of image browsing that should be small in size and good for recognition, it is reasonable to decompose to 3 scale using pyramidal algorithm. 3. For the case of progressive transmittion where requires most grateful image reconstruction from least number of sampls or reconstruction at any target rate, I embedded the data in order of significance after scaling to 5 step. 4. Medical images such as information loss is fatal have to be compressed by lossless method. As a result from compressing 5 scaled data through arithmetic coding and Huffman coding, I obtained that arithmetic coding is better than huffman coding in processing time and compression ratio. And in case of arithmetic coding I could compress to 38% to original image data.

  • Recently, localized heavy rain due to "EL-LIO" was a kind of reason by risk of slope stability. In this paper, the behaviour of slope when localized heavy rain was studied. In order to perform this study experimental programs were performed. Experimental programs was checked filtering conditions for slope stability due to localized heavy rain. And then, investigated slope stability and fracture mechanism each other types. In the experimental study, performed changing filtering condition by embankment, through five fixing factors such as rainfall intensity, slope shape, geological condition, compaction energy and water content. According to the results of this study, behaviour of facture slope has made a shallow and narrow waterway. This waterway expanded base stone. In order to, suggested a system for slope stability examination.

  • RAP(rammed aggregate pier) method which is intermediate foundation of deep and shallow foundation is used to improve the ground with high compaction energy. This method is widely spread around the world, but there are few examples and systemic researches for failure mechanism and bearing capacity of this method are not organized yet. In this paper, soil laboratory tests were carried out to evaluate the applicability of RAP method as the foundation of a structure. And the bearing capacity and the failure mechanism of RAP method were studied with respect to various relative densities(35%, 65%, 90%), diameters(45mm, 60mm) and lengths(20cm, 30cm, 40cm). As results, stress concentration ratio decreased as diameter of RAP was increasing or length of RAP was decreased or relative density was decreased. however these results were not always constant. because systematic interaction between relative density and diameter and length of RAP can affect stress concentration ratio, more studies on stress concentration ratio are needed throughout laboratory and field tests.

  • The strength, water permeability, and photo-degradation efficiency of NOx of porous concrete with a new concept were studied in this paper. The porous concrete was comprised of coarse aggregate of maximum size 40 mm, cement, silica fume, water and air-entraining(AE) water reducing agent. The strength of porous concrete was strongly related to its matrix proportion and compaction energy. An experimental test was carried out to study the parameters of cement proportions and silica fume content for pavement applications of porous concrete which were paving a footpath, a bikeway, a parking lot, and a driveway. The regressed equations of relation-ships between compressive strength and flexural strength, and coefficient permeability and void ratios were indicated as y=7.69x+71.74 and $y=0.42e^{0.28x}$. A method of making an air purification-functioning road, which was spraying a mixture of a photocatalyst, cement, and water onto the surface of the road, was suggested.

영상 잡음제거를 위한 게이버 코사인과 사인 변환의 소프트 문턱 방법 (Soft Thresholding Method Using Gabor Cosine and Sine Transform for Image Denoising)

  • 영상에 존재하는 잡음을 제거하는 방법은 공간영역과 변환영역에서 많은 연구가 되어 왔다. 초기에는 공간영역에서 저역통과필터를 많이 사용하였으나, 최근에는 변환영역에서 이산 웨이브릿 변환이 탁월한 에너지 집중도와 다분해능 성질에 기인하여 영상압축 뿐만 아니라 잡음제거에도 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문은 인간시각필터로 고려되는 Gabor 코사인과 사인 함수를 이용한 변환을 소프트 문턱치 기법으로 영상 잡음제거 응용에 적용하고자 한다. 기존 소프트 문턱치 기법을 이용하는 우수한 웨이브릿 변환과 PSNR 성능을 비교하고, 잡음 제거된 결과 영상을 시각적으로도 비교한다. 4가지 Gaussian 분포 잡음을 첨가한 여러 실제 영상의 실험으로부터 제안한 변환이 PSNR 성능에서 최대 1.18dB 우수하고, 시각적 인지에서도 분명한 차이를 보였다.

화강암질 풍화토의 시멘트에 의한 안정처리에 관한 연구 (내구성을 중심으로) (The Study on Portland Cement Stabilization on the Weathered Granite Soils (on the Durability))

  • Soil-cement mixtures involve problems in it's durability in grain size distribution and mineral composition of the used soils as well as in cement content, compaction energy, molding water content, and curing. As an attempt to solve the problems associated with durability of weathered granite soil with cement treated was investigated by conducting tests such as unconfined compression test, it's moisture, immers, wet-dry and freeze-thaw curing, mesurement of loss of weight with wet-dry and freeze-thaw by KS F criteria and CBR test with moisture curing on the five soil samples different in weathering and mineral composition. The experimental results are summarized as follows; The unconfined compressive strength was higher in moisture curing rather than in the immers and wet-dry, while it was lowest in freeze-thaw. Decreasing ratio of unconfined compressive strength in soil-cement mixtures were lowest in optimum moisture content or in the dry side rather than optimum moisture content with freeze-thaw. The highly significant ceofficient was obtained between the cement content and loss of weight with freeze-thaw and wet-dry. It was possible to obtain the durability of soil-cement mixtures, as the materials of base for roads, containing above 4 % of cement content, above 3Okg/cm$_2$ of unconfined compressive trength with seven days moisture curing or 12 cycle of freeze-thaw after it, above 100% of relative unconfined compressive strength, 80% of index of resistance, below 14% of loss of weight with 12 cycle of wet-dry and above 1. 80g/cm$_2$ of dry density.
