The purpose of this study was to examine the state of career and employment among dental hygiene students in an attempt to get an accurate grip on their preparation for career and employment. And it's also meant to help improve the efficiency of guidance by dental hygiene education institutions for career and employment. The subjects in this study were every dental hygiene student at three different colleges. After a self-administered survey was conducted, the following findings were given: 1. In regard to the future prospects of dental hygienist, 44.2 percent of the students investigated believed that there would be a bright future for dental hygienist, and 55.8 percent didn't agree to that or considered the prospects to be neither bright nor bleak. 2. As to the motivation of choosing the department of dental hygiene, 51.2 percent thought that it was easy for dental hygienists to get a job, and 22.2 percent wanted to be a professional. 3. Concerning preference for workplace, they hoped to work in a hospital-sized or larger institutions including dental hospitals. As to the reason why they wanted a job, 76.2 percent had their sight set on standing on their own feet. 4. As for the top priority for employment, they took interpersonal relationship into account the most(3.63), followed by aptitude(3.52) and working conditions/environments(3.51). 5. In terms of job values by academic year, all the freshmen, sophomores and juniors attached the most importance to interpersonal relationship. By academic standing in the previous semester, the students who got an A, B or C put more value on human relations, and those who got a D gave more weight to social status and fame. The gap between them was statistically significant. As for the impact of the high schools they graduated from, they took the most statistically significant consideration on interpersonal relationship irrespective of their alma mater.

Uncertainty in the employment market from the COVID-19 created incomplete employment. As a result, job seekers were required to have overqualifications than job requirements. In previous studies, overqualified workers by incomplete employment were not satisfied with their jobs. A representative result is the intention to change jobs. However, within COVID-19, the perceived overqualification of workers will appear differently. This is because in a rapidly increased employment competition environment due to COVID-19, it will appear as loyalty to maintain a stable job. As a result of this study, work experience was the greatest benefit and high risk for office workers. In addition, both the benefits and risks of overqualification affected loyalty. Unlike the negative impact as in previous studies, workers tried to remain stable at work in an unstable employment environment caused by COVID-19.
This study analyzes the determinants and patterns of regional migration in Myanmar. Population migration is affected by various factors such as economic and social factors as well as regional characteristics. It is affected by factors such as income, employment and social overhead capital. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze the following two research problems. First, I would like to analyze whether the reform and opening of Myanmar is causing the migration of rural to urban population. Myanmar is also trying to verify the pattern of population migration experienced by other developing countries. Second, we analyze the impact of social overhead capital on population migration in Myanmar. We analyze the impact of basic infrastructure such as roads, electricity and water on population movements. This will give implications for investment policy decision of social overhead capital for balanced regional development. First, the pattern of population migration in Myanmar is shifting from rural to urban areas, as other developing countries have experienced. Myanmar's urban areas of Yangon and Mandalay have been analyzed as having migration. Second, the expansion of social overhead capital was found to have an impact. Social overhead capital such as roads and educational environments were analyzed to have the capacity to inhale the population. Especially, the educational environment of the region has a great effect on population migration. It is analyzed that education reform is an important policy issue for the balanced regional development of Myanmar. Fourth, employment opportunities were analyzed to have the greatest impact on Myanmar population movements. In the early stage of economic development, it is analyzed that the population moves to a region where employment opportunity is high in the situation where foreign capital is coming in. It is analyzed that the direction of inflow of foreign capital and the imbalance of development in the region will be determined in the situation where the economic development is carried out through foreign capital.
In previous Cost-of-Illness (COI) studies, the economic impact of lost leisure time of patients has been mostly underexplored. Furthermore, few studies have focused on chronic or severe diseases, thereby inadequately addressing the segment of self-care patients who do not fall into the categories of inpatients or outpatients. In the present study, we used a comprehensive approach to calculate the annual cost of leisure loss, incorporating factors such as employment status, self-care options, and total period of leisure activity disruption. This required analyzing data from various sources, including health and labor statistics, and applying methods to accurately assess the leisure time lost due to food poisoning. The findings showed that the annual cost of leisure loss for South Korean patients with food poisoning is significant, amounting to approximately 784.5 billion KRW (702.8 million USD, USD/KRW : 1128.34). This study revealed that overlooking self-care patients and not accounting for the affected time in addition to treatment time and employment status significantly underestimated these costs. This study highlights the importance of considering a wider range of factors, including self-care, employment status, as well as the entire affected period, in assessing the societal impact of diseases such as food poisoning. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers and healthcare professionals to understand the broader economic implications of illness and allocate healthcare resources more effectively.

This study examines the impact of moving to an opportunity-rich area on an individual's wage income to identify the relationship between regional disparities in opportunities throughout a person's life cycle and life outcomes. Based on the Graduate Occupational Mobility Survey (GOMS) provided by the Korea Employment Information Service, individuals with similar life experience prior to regional mobility were selected and analyzed using the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) method. Specifically, the life cycle was classified into stages such as pre-high school, university entrance period, and employment period. Then, a path model was established to analyze regional mobility, education, employment, and wage income by life cycle stage. The analysis results indicate that the life cycle stage where regional mobility had the greatest impact on an individual's economic performance, that is, the stage where the impact of opportunity disparities was most unequal, was the university entrance period. Additionally, moving to an opportunity-rich area was a critical factor that cumulatively affected subsequent life. Hence, pre-high school mobility was also noteworthy as it induced life in the central area later on. Lastly, while parental income itself was influential, but when combined with regional mobility, it could act as a means of transferring wealth to the next generation. These results suggest that the state should strive to alleviate the regional imbalance around universities by fostering universities outside the capital region and reduce the possibility of the influence of parents' socio-economic background on regional mobility.

This study examined the relationship between maternal employment, maternal job characteristics, spousal support and parenting stress, using a sample of 502 mothers (207 employed and 295 nonemployed mothers) who had 1st and 2nd grade children. The participants completed a set of questionnaires. Data were analyzed by means of Pearson's correlation, simple regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Our results indicated that maternal employment was not significantly related to parenting stress. It was also found that employed mothers experienced less parenting stress when they perceived greater job satisfaction and higher spousal support. Lastly, spousal support moderated the impact of job satisfaction on employed mothers' parenting stress, indicating that the relationship between job satisfaction and parenting stress was stronger for the high spousal support group than for the low spousal support group.
This paper analyzes the effects of government training subsidies on the performance of vocational competency development training programs. In particular, it focuses on how generous financial support from the government influences post-training outcomes, such as employment rates and wage levels of training participants. Using data from the K-Digital Training program, the study examines whether high levels of financial support align with government expectations. The results show that increased subsidies do not always improve employment outcomes, often resulting in longer job search periods and shorter job tenure. To improve this situation, generous government support must be combined with appropriate requests for greater accountability from training institutions.
Recently, youth unemployment, especially the unemployment problem of university graduates, has emerged as a social problem. Unemployment of university graduates is both a pan-national issue and a university-level issue, and each university is making many efforts to increase the employment rate of graduates. In this study, we present a model that predicts employment availability of D-university graduates by utilizing Machine Learning. The variables used were analyzed using up to 138 personal information, admission information, bachelor's information, etc., but in order to reflect them in the future curriculum, only the data after admission works effectively, so by department / student. The proposal was limited to the recommended ability to improve the separate employment rate. In other words, since admission grades are indicators that cannot be improved due to individual efforts after enrollment, they were used to improve the degree of prediction of employment rate. In this research, we implemented a employment prediction model through analysis of the core ability of D-University, which reflects the university's philosophy, goals, human resources awards, etc., and machined the impact of the introduction of a new core ability prediction model on actual employment. Aim : The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the awareness level of the mandatory employment system for the disabled and the help of the employment increase on the health status of the disabled. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to raise awareness of the compulsory employment system for the disabled and to suggest a way to improve the health of the disabled. Methods : In this study, the first data of the second wave of the 2016-2018 Employment Panel Survey for the Disabled was used to analyze the participation of the disabled in economic activities. a total of 1,648 subjects were analyzed using the chi-square test and generalized estimating equation (GEE). Results : Compared to the group knowing about the compulsory employment system for the disabled, in the group who did not know about the compulsory employment system, the cognitive level was significantly higher for subjective health status (Odds Ratio [OR]: 1.573, 95% Confidence Interval [CI]: 1.252-1.977) and chronic diseases (OR: 1.407, 95% CI: 1.091-1.816), Compared to the group that the compulsory employment system for the disabled is helpful in increasing employment, the group that said it was not helpful at all had depression feel (OR: 2.330, 95% CI: 1.219-4.452) and subjective health status (OR: 2.052, 95% CI: 1.232. -3.416) significantly affected. Conclusion : It was found that the lower the level of awareness and help of the compulsory employment system for the disabled, the negative impact on their health status. Therefore, it is necessary to promote employment growth by raising awareness of the employment system for the disabled. Furthermore, in order to improve the health of the disabled, public relations plans to increase the understanding of the disabled on the system and policies to protect the disabled people who lose their will to work due to difficulties in accessing employment were enacted, and Changes to a disability-friendly working environment should be activated so that participants can participate.
The purpose of this study was to focus on the effects of a mother's characteristics and self-awareness as they impact upon parenting stress, with the additional aim of creating an appropriate structural equation model. The subjects of the study comprised 2078 newborn children (and their mothers) taken from the $1^{st}$ year of the Korea Children's Panel. The results of the research are as follows. The mother's feeling of pregnancy, her income activity, religion, and educational level impacted significantly upon self-awareness, whereas employment status did not. In addition, the feeling of pregnancy and income activity had a effect on parenting stress both directly and indirectly. Educational level and religion impacted on parenting stress indirectly through self-awareness. Both employment status and self-awareness were found to have impacted on parenting stress directly. The implication of these findings are also discussed.
