중국국적 결혼이주여성들의 취업준비 경험에 대한 과정분석 (A Process Analysis of the Employment Preparation of Chinese International Marriage Migrant Women)

  • This study is aimed at examining the employment preparation of Chinese migrant women and exploring measures to support their employment in a practical manner. To accomplish the objectives, in-depth interviews with 15 Han Chinese and Korean Chinese women, who represent the highest proportion in Korea, were conducted. Each interview lasted for about an hour and a half on average, and there were additional questionnaires and observations on vocational courses. Collected data was analyzed in 4 steps by utilizing the analysis methods suggested by Lichtman (the three C's of data analysis: codes, categories, concepts), which were transformed to fit the final data. The research findings are as follows. First, the fundamental reasons that Chinese migrant women seek employment in Korea are as follows: role model as a mother based on motherhood and the desire to be recognized as a member of society. Second, as for employment strategies, although all the respondents were only dependent on the referral of their acquaintances and national institutions, Han Chinese and Korean Chinese women had ambivalent attitudes toward each other. Third, they attributed the causes of unemployment to personal aspects such as the amount of effort made and luck, and social structural aspects, including employment instability and low acceptance of multi- cultural individuals. Fourth, the migrant women hoping for 'complete integration' in the future, suggested some practical employment support measures. Such measures should be established by comprehensively reflecting their reasons for getting a job, employment strategies, attributions of unemployment, and employment outlook, rather than as response measures to the low birth rate and aging issues in Korea.

청소년 한부모의 일과 삶의 실태와 현실 : 정규직 취업에 미치는 직업교육 경험과 아이돌봄 서비스 지원의 효과 (A Study on the Work and Life Conditions of Single, Young Parents : The Effect of Vocational Education and Public nanny service Support on Full-time Employment)

  • This study aimed to examine the impact of academic background on full-time employment and on other important issues concerning job security and care faced by single-parent youths. The study alse aimed to verify the effect of related support on full-time employment. The analysis targeted 262 single parents under 24 years of age who were raising their children, and the main results were as follows: First, the ratio of adulthood was high for those who were employed, and the academic achievement of full-time workers was also significantly high. However, the rate of discontinuities in school was also high among those who were employed, especially those seeking full-time employment, whose desire to stay in school was higher than that of other difficulties of single, teenage parents. Second, the vocational education experience of single, teenage parents was 32 percent overall, and the rate of those seeking full-time employment was also relatively high, reaching 44 percent. However, the results of this study did not verify the direct effect of vocational education experience on full-time employment nor the interaction effect of the academic background. Therefore, a thorough review of the effectiveness of a vocational education program for young, single parents wishing to gain employment is necessary. Third, the overall rate of those who received a public nanny service was 31 percent, while the rate of full-time workers who experienced this service was significantly higher reaching 59 percent. In the research model verification, single parents who received a public nanny service were 3.8 times more likely to get a full-time job than those who did not, and receiving a public nanny service showed a regulatory effect between academic studies and full-time employment. The higher the academic level of the parents, the higher their possibility of full-time employment.

  • Previous studies on women who immigrated through marriage were focused on the frictional issues within the couples and their families as well as language tutoring. However, for the long-term integration of these women into society and the acquisition of status, it is most important to increase their economic value. Indeed many such women are facing economic difficulties, and have a strong desire to participate in economic activities. This study focuses on the economic self-sufficiency of these women through employment and entrepreneurship. We analyze their education level and employment experience and attempt to find the most effective policies to support them. We take particular interest in their entrepreneurial motivation and propose policies and frameworks for supporting their successful enterprise creation.

중고령 실직자 재취업 과정에 대한 현상학적 연구 (Phenomenological Study for re-employment process for middle or old-age people the Unemployed)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning and essence of concrete and practical experience on a series of debates to reveal factors that could be exposed when middle or old-aged people are in the process of re-employment process when they were unemployed by exploring the phenomenon of experience on the courses for the unemployed focusing on middle or old-aged people for employment support program. Depth consultation interviews were conducted and the structure of this phenomenon was revealed and described by applying Giorgi's phenomenology technical as a procedure for analyzing participants' statements by concentrating on the essence of the experience in this study. The meaning of the experience of the unemployed re-employment process structure as a result of analysis on the nature of re-employment experience on the basis of research participants and the information stated through this study showed respectively such as , , , , , and "Reemployment Success Factors>. It is a significant meaning that middle and old-aged people were able to confirm that they experienced Dynamic pursuit of hopes and dreams and got the chance to participate in society Toward a new life By strengthening employ ability skills by undertaking vocational training, obtaining licenses, and regaining confidence and employment determination, and a lot of desire using the card for learning tomorrow, government support system.

미용전공 대학생의 학업성취도 및 취업준비행동 - 인구통계학적 변인을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Academic Achievements and Employment Preparation Behavior in College Students Majoring in Cosmetology - Focusing on Demographic Variables -)

  • It has recently become difficult for college students majoring in cosmetology to gain employment after graduation. Under this circumstance, this study attempted to investigate students' academic achievements and employment preparation behavior based on their demographic characteristics. To accomplish this, a questionnaire survey was conducted involving 234 college men and women in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do from April 12 to 30, 2022. Out of an initial 260 questionnaires distributed, 250 were collected. Of these, 234 copies, excluding 16 poorly answered ones, were used for final analysis. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, a t-test, and an F-test, employing SPSS 21.0, which revealed the following: First, concerning academic achievements based on demographic characteristics, a statistically significant difference was found in "motives to select the cosmetology department," "most important aspects for career decision," and "academic major-related license." Second, concerning employment preparation behavior, a statistically significant difference was observed in "academic year," "motives to select the cosmetology department," and "academic major-related license." The above findings confirmed a statistically significant difference in academic achievements and employment preparation behavior, ensuring a better understanding of academic achievements and employment preparation behavior. It is anticipated that those majoring in cosmetology would be more active in job preparation and ultimately obtain the profession they desire with a positive and healthy mindset.

청년층의 주거와 취업특성이 결혼의향에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Young People's Housing and Employment Characteristics on Willingness for Marriage)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국고용정보원의 청년패널조사(YP2007) 10-14차(2016~2020년) 직업력 자료를 이용하여 미혼 청년층의 주거 관련 특성 현황들을 살펴보고, 주거의 특성들과 취업한 일자리의 특성들이 결혼 의향(의지)에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 종합해 보면, 고학력층, 고임금 취업자, 가구주이거나 경제적으로 독립한 청년층, 경제적으로 재정상태가 좋은 청년층은 결혼 의지가 높게 나타나고 있어 경제적 여건이 매우 중요한 요인으로 작용하고 있다. 결과적으로 부모로부터 경제적으로 독립한 상당수의 청년취업자 중에서도 상용직, 대기업, 고임금의 청년층은 결혼할 의향이 높게 나타나고 있는 반면, 임시/일용직, 중소기업, 저임금의 고용상태가 취약한 청년층은 결혼에 대한 의향도 낮게 나타나고 있다. 결국 노동시장에서 취약한 상태에 있는 청년층의 경우도 자신의 생애과정에 있어 매우 중요한 의미를 가지고 있는 결혼에 대해서도 포기하거나 미루게 되는 현상이 나타나고 있는 것으로 추정된다. 이에 청년층의 일자리 문제에 대한 개선과 지원정책을 강화함과 동시에 주거문제의 개선 및 대책도 충분히 검토되어야 한다.

노숙자의 삶의 경험 - 시설 노숙자를 중심으로 - (The Life Experiences of the Sheltered Homeless)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe the psychological aspects of experiences of men living in a homeless shelter in Seoul. This study focused on understanding about the life of the homeless in the shelter by Phenomenological method. Method: The participants in this study were seven men who are living in a homeless shelter in Seoul. The following data were collected though the in-depth interviews and analyzed by the Phenomenological analytic method of Giorgi. Result: There are five focal significances about the life of the homeless. (1) Unplanned Life : Difficult life comes from outside situation, Freedom, The acceptance of unconsciousness life, Laziness, Unreliability, The dissolute life, No purpose to life, Relying on drinking, (2) Self-rationalization : Feeling of defeat, Give up, Desire for a support system, Lack of willingness, Anxiety, Chivalry, Falsehoods, (3) Superficial Interpersonal Relationships : Ignorance, Pressure, Discord, Hiding from one anther, avoidance. (4) A sense of devestation : Negative perspective, Mental weakness, Difficulties in employment, ambivalance with social structure, The place to escape, Complaining against the opposite sex, Sense of regret, Lack of relationship with family, The lack of self-confidence, Loss of volition (5) The Hope of new life : Realization, Desire for change, Dreaming of married life, Dependence in God Conclusion: The conclusion of this study shows that the men in the shelter had various psychological reasons for being in the homeless shelter. Further studies need to be done to validate this information and formulate ways to assist these men with their psychological needs.

문헌정보학과 재학생의 취업전망에 대한 인식조사 연구 (LIS Employment Prospects: LIS Students' Perspective)

  • 도서관의 인력은 도서관서비스 수준을 결정하고, 도서관의 수준은 한 나라의 지적 역량을 가늠하는 가장 핵심적인 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 현재 문헌정보학과에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 사서직 취업전망에 대한 인식을 조사하기 위하여 설문을 수행하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 도서관으로 취업하고 싶다는 비율이 40%로, 다른 분야에 비해 상당히 높게 나타났다. 그들은 사서직 고용환경에 대해 부정적인 견해를 가지고 있음에도 불구하고 향후 발전가능성이 있다는 취업전망을 가지고 있었다. 둘째, 설문응답자가 희망하는 업무로 '문화프로그램 등 업무'가 가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 현재의 교육과정에는 대체로 만족하지만 취업지원프로그램으로 진로지도와 취업멘토링, 인턴십에 대해 높은 요구도를 나타냈다. 넷째, 학생들은 학업성적, 어학능력, 각종 자격증 취득, 인턴 및 실습, 경력관리를 매우 중요한 취업요건으로 고려하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 학생들의 직장선택에 영향을 주는 조직 환경적 요인은 보수와 복리후생, 자기발전 기회부여, 근무조건과 조직문화, 조직의 발전가능성 등의 순으로 나타났고, 개인적 요인은 개인의 적성, 취업분야 지식 및 기술 수준, 사회적 대우 및 인식, 전공일치여부, 직장과의 거리 등의 순으로 나타났다.

구조방정식 모형을 이용한 기능대학의 취업지도 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Job Search Plan of Polytech College based on Structural Equation Model)

  • 본 논문은 구조방정식(SEM : Structural Equation Model)의 모형을 이용한 기능대학의 취업지도 활성화 방안에 관한 연구로서 연구대상인 독립변인의 취업안정성 구성과 취업환경 구축 및 취업체 선정요소 등의 요인들에 대한 영향력을 검증하고 종속변인인 취업욕구의 요인이 취업지도활성화 방안에 미치는 요인에 대한 조사 분석과 이에 제시되는 지표의 결과에 따른 개선방안을 연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 기능대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 하여 독립변인과 종속변인의 요인들에 대한 관계를 조사 하였으며, 또한 취업욕구요인이 취업지도활성화 효과에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 AMOS 5.0 프로그램을 활용하여 구조방정식모형을 통한 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 취업안정성과 취업체선정요인은 취업욕구요인에 크게 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 기각되었으며, 독립변인 중 취업환경구축 요인(산학협력체제구축, 현장체험실무지도, 직업능력향상지도)이 종속변인인 취업욕구요인에 가장 유의하게 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 요인으로 채택되어 취업지도활성화에 결정적인 영향이 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

청년층 미취업의 실태 및 원인 분석 (An Analysis of the Factors of Youth Unemployment and Nonparticipation in Korea)

  • 본고는 청년층의 실업 및 비경제활동의 실태를 살펴보고 그 원인을 분석해 보았다. 청년층 비경제활동인구를 가사 육아 학업 훈련, 기타의 범주로 구분하고 선택편의 모형 및 다항로짓 모형으로 미취업자들의 시장가능임금 을 추정하고 실업 및 비경제활동의 선태 요인을 분석하였다. 분석의 결과 미취업자의 희망임금과 시장가능임금의 차이가 실업보다는 학업 훈련 범주나 기타의 범주에 속하는 비경제활동 청년에게서 크게 나타났다. 남성, 연령이 적을수록, 저학력일수록 희망임금과 시장가능임금의 차이가 크게 나타났다. 취업 및 실업, 비경제활동의 선택에서 남성, 고연령, 가구주, 자격증 소지자일 경우 취업의 선택 확률을 높이고 비경제활동의 선태 확률은 낮추는 것으로 나타났다. 청년층의 첫 직장 경험은 취업을 선택할 확률을 크게 낮추고, 실업 및 비경제활동을 선택할 확률을 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 현재 청년층의 취업의 질이 극히 낮은 수준임을 반영하는 것이라 파악할수 있다.
