The participants were 391 firefighters in Chung-Nam and some variables related to job stress, emotional labor, resilience, mental health were measured using reliable instruments. There showed significant positive relationships of mental health with job stress, emotional labor and negative relationships with resilience. Among predictors, job stress(job insecurity, lack of reward, occupational climate), emotional labor, resilience had statistically significant influence on mental health. Mental health programs to decrease job stress and emotional labor, and to enhance resilience are essential to improve the mental health of firefighters.

  • Objective: This study investigated the moderating effect of emotional dysregulation on the relationship between teacher efficacy and job stress among teachers in the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC). Methods: The participants included 586 ECEC teachers from 99 centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Daejeon, Chungcheong-do, Jeolla-do, and Gyeongsang-do. The data were analyzed through frequencies, percentages, and Pearson's correlations using SPSS 21.0 (IBM Co., Armonk, NY). To analyze the moderating effect, Ping's (1996) two-step approach was used via AMOS 20.0 (IBM Co., Armonk, NY). Results: The main findings are as follows. First, the mean scores of ECEC teacher efficacy and job stress showed above the average, and the mean score of emotional dysregulation was the nearly average. Second, fit statistics indicated that the proposed model, as revised, provided an acceptable fit to the sample data. This proposed model showed that the emotional dysregulation of teachers in ECEC had a moderating effect on the relationship between teacher efficacy and job stress. Conclusion: These findings imply that the ECEC teachers showed the higher level of self-trust and self-confidence than average regarding their own work, and suffered from the work overload. Also, the positive and supportive working environment would help the ECEC teachers to reduce their emotional dysregulation. In addition, there was a moderating effect of the ECEC teachers' emotional dysregulation on the relationship between teacher efficacy and job stress. These findings imply that the workshop or counselling programs need to be provided to teachers in order to help control their emotion dysregulation and reduce their job stress.

To accomplish this, a survey was conducted from January 22, 2018 to April 22, 2018, after which data from 256 out of a total of 260 questionnaires were evaluated. Specifically, SPSS 23.0 was used to conduct a hierarchical analysis to verify the meditating effects of job stress under the condition that emotional labor influences job satisfaction. A positive correlation between emotional labor and job stress was observed. In addition, there was a negative correlation between emotional labor and job satisfaction, as well as between job stress and job satisfaction. Finally, job stress partially mediates between emotional labor and job satisfaction. Overall, the results of this thesis provide basic materials that will be useful to development of a strategy for human resource management of geriatric hospital nurses.

  • This study identified the correlation between emotional labor, resilience, and clinical practice stress in dental hygiene students and investigated the factors affecting clinical practice stress. The data collection was conducted on 165 students of Chungcheong Province who experienced clinical practice. Data were analyzed using the SPSS 18.0 statistics program. Significant negative correlation was found between emotional labor and resilience (r=-.257). And Significant positive correlation was found between clinical practice stress and emotional labor (r=.426). Factors related to clinical practice stress were emotional labor and major satisfaction. Therefore, it will be necessary to develop clinical practice education programs to reduce emotional labor experienced in clinical practice and improve resilience to reduce the stress of clinical practice for dental hygiene students.

The sample subjects were 542 pairs of fifth and sixth grade elementary school students and first as well as eighth grade middle school students, and their mothers. The major findings of the research are as follows: First, the result of multiple regression analysis on the effects of the maternal parenting stress and marital satisfaction to the children's abuse indicates that stress related to learning expectation and stress related to relationship with child are the significant contributing factor to physical abuse and verbal abuse. Second, the result of multiple regression analysis on the effects of the maternal parenting stress and child abuse to the children's emotional maladjustment behaviors indicate that verbal abuse is the significant contributing factor. Third, looking at causal relations of the maternal variables (maternal parenting stress, marital satisfaction) and child abuse (physical abuse, verbal abuse, neglect) to the children's emotional maladjustment behaviors, maternal variables impact indirectly through the child abuse factor.

  • In this paper, a chatbot for emotional stress recognition and management using rule-based method and NLP is designed and developed to tackle various emotional stresses of people through questionnaire. For this, Dialogflow as open chatbot development platform and Facebook messenger as chatting platform are used. We can build natural and resourceful conversational experiences through predefined questions by using powerful tools of Dialogflow, and can use developed chatbot on the Facebook page messenger. Developed chatbot perceives emotional stresses of user by user-input which is either text or choice of predefined answer. It also gives user questions according to the user's feeling, and assess the strength of the emotional stresses, and provide a solution to the user. Further research can improve the developed chatbot by using open Korean NLP library and database of emotions and stresses.
