미취학 아동의 감성 발달을 위한 연령별 놀이가구 유형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Type of Playable Furniture for Emotional Development of Preschool Children)

  • Nowadays the preschool children spend much of the day playing indoors. Therefore, it needs the indoor environment that helps a variety of fun activities and physical development, and it requires the space configuration and playable furniture considering the emotional development for mental health. However, the furniture for fast growing preschoolers has not various types because the domestic furniture market for children is mostly baby beds and the furniture for the education of children. Therefore, this study presents the concepts and types of the playable furniture reflecting emotional design for preschool children's healthy emotion and suggests the most appropriate type of playable furniture considering play behavior by age. In this study, we investigated the physical, cognitive, social, emotional and linguistic development characteristics and play behavior of preschoolers, and derived the right type of playground equipment and furniture, and examined the types of playable furniture to help the emotional development. We derived the items to be checked for developing the playable furniture by age for emotional development, and classified preschoolers' playable furniture into the use of learning, relaxation and storage, and suggested its basic type focusing on the cases of various playable furniture developed at home and abroad. As a result, the playable furniture was divided into three types. The first is the self-play type making possible self amusement, the second is module built-up-type that consists of furniture and modules or units and creates various patterns and can be modified through the self-assembly and disassembly, and the third is IT game type grafting IT skills and a variety of electronic games to furniture. We sorted these types into three classes (1-3 years old, 4-5, 6-7) according to age and presented the type of play for each age, the play element and representative image that can be introduced to this furniture. In this study, we provided the basic design types of age-specific emotional playable furniture by analyzing these results.

치매노인의 행동특성을 고려한 공간디자인 (Space Design Based on the Behavioral Characteristics of the Elderly with Dementia)

  • This study was intended to suggest the design guidelines of the space for the elderly with dementia. To achieve this, the behavioral characteristics of the elderly with dementia were grasped, and the design cases which were considered and reflected of the behavioral characteristics of the elderly with dementia were examined. Then, the effective space design guidelines which met the behavioral characteristcs of the elderly with dementia were suggested. The behaviors of the elderly with dementia were categorized into cognitive, emotional, and functional behavior. The positive influences of space design on dementia symptom were founded in the planned living environments, accessible and visible location of common space such as living room, soft and homelike interior finishes and lighting, and healing garden. Therefore, the space design for the elderly with dementia should be done on the basis of the dementia symptoms and healing effects.

대학도서관에서의 색채이미지와 감성평가 연구 - H대학교 도서관의 현황조사를 중심으로 - (A Study on Color Images and Emotional Evaluation of Them in University Library - Focusing on the Survey of the Situation of the H University Library -)

  • In the 21st century, university library is changing into a new paradigm. Among others, color image emerges as an important aspect of the library. Up to now, studies on colors of indoor space have been limited on partial and specific spaces. But, this study, using the tool of emotional evaluation, aims to do a comprehensive research on color image of the whole space. This research uses the H University library completed in March 2015. This research is performed in the following procedure. First, previous related researches for the past ten years from 2005 to 2015 is examined, which will help understand the trends in this kind of research, and set up the concrete goal of research. By literature review, color image is established in the environmental psychological aspect. Second, to analyze colors, all the spaces of the library from the entrance lobby are filmed. Filmed images are changed into mosaic, and color palettes are composed, and color values are calculated using the Munsell color system. Third, emotional words are extracted, and emotional evaluation is made. Using the Semantic Differential scale method, emotional differences among subjects are compared, and the validity of the survey data is tested using the statistical program SPSS 18.0. As the outcome of the research shows, the color image and emotion in space are closely related. And, through emotion, it is possible to get color image, and this aspect can be scholastically systemized and developed.

주시의도성 추적을 통한 카페공간의 시지각특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Visual Perception Characteristics of the Space of Cafe through Tracing the Observing Intention)

  • It is easier to objectify the designing process with the analysis of how users perceive any space depending on the purpose of space visiting in the interactions of them and images. This study analyzed the observation characteristics perceived through observation frequency and time depending on the purpose cafe customers to understand what effect the design factors constructing the space has on the observation characteristics which are the results obtained as information through visual perception. The followings are the results of this study. First, The time range for searching or wandering and the observation characteristics could be estimated by the meaning of observation time by grade with the setup of time-range out of the distribution of sections. Second, at the time distribution by section, when there was intention, the observation time was found to have higher occupation. Third, though the higher section frequency is likely to have more observation time, the grades of II/V had higher frequency of [Intention] and the time had higher [Non-Intention], which revealed that there is a tendency for the observation characteristics vary in a large degree depending on whether there was intention or not. Fourth, by the application of the observation characteristics of each grade for interrelation analysis depending on whether there is any intention to the space of cafe, the detailed space characteristics could be compared with observation tendency. The difference of obtained information has an effect on obtaining perceived information, and since the intention may affect any information which is obtained, it is necessary for design information suitable to visit purpose or users' observation intention to be transferred in the process of designing. Analyzing the effect of any change to designing factors on the sight inducing intention and synchronization will help to understand the emotional design focused on users.

  • This paper aims to provide a multi-dimensional integrative model that can give a comprehensive account for human space experience. Human space experience is too complicated phenomenon, so space designer need to understand about mechanism of space cognition. From psychological point of view, I analyze the mechanism that is based on emotional reaction. This model consist of three dimensions: sensory, reflexive, and reflective dimension. Assuming this model, we have attempt the typological analysis to the space by studying human space experience. Finally, the outcome provides how space designer use this effect for application of human experience.

  • 웹은 정보화시태의 새로운 커뮤니케이션 매체로서 실제세계(real world)를 그대로 옮겨 놓은 가상세계(virtual world, cyber space)라 할 수 있으며 또 다른 한의 생활공간이기도 하다. 이런 가상공간 안에서 사용되는 가상제품(cyber product)들은 실제세계에서의 물리적인 제품과는 달리 형태의 파괴, 무제한적인 색상과 재질감, 유니크한 작동메카니즘과 인터렉티브한 요소에 의해 기계가 아닌 하나의 생명체로서 감성을 지닌 제품 디자인이 가능하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이런 특성에 따라 실제세계의 오디오에서 느낄 수 없는 새로운 즐거움을 주는 사이버공간상에서의 시청각오디오를 디자인하였다.

  • The purpose of this research project is to provide information on emotional design and designs a kind of shoe storage for small space. Through researching the activities of target user and analyzing the present market, we get the clear understanding of direction for storage design, and create a new domain of for storages, with its added value and competition too. This will satisfy demand of consumers and benefit for enterprise.

  • In the face of the new dimension of the developed technology $L{\acute{a}}szl{\acute{o}}$ Moholy-Nagy, a master of 'the Bauhaus Akademie', made an effort to constitute the integrated life of the intellectual and the emotional by translating the experiences of the new technology Into the emotional language and the cultural realities. As an artist who criticized in the constructivist ethos the conception of the image as the imitation and brought the Image movements into relief Moholy-Nagy groped for a new expressive idea that can be called as 'the idea of the non-representational spatial expression' in which the expressive elements interact one another. His idea of the non-representational spatial expression that is made up of the pure forms of the nature, the direct colors and the spatial elements is oriented to incorporate the modern realities, i.e. the space experiences as the complicated sensory workings and the new technology as the measure of the human thinking, and further to see where they will move to. This study is on the one hand purposed to explicate the fundamental idea of the non-representational spatial expression that was poorly illuminated in spite of its importance in the respects of the design and art history, on the other to re-actualize the implications of the space-design which are contained in it.

TV홈쇼핑 카메라 앵글에 따른 브랜드 식기 판매 공간의 연출 효과에 관한 연구 -소비자 선호도를 중심으로- (A study on TV homeshopping brand dinnerware sales space styling effects with camera angle -Focused on consumer preference-)

  • 본 연구는 TV화면에 입체감을 표현하여 소비자의 구매 욕구를 촉진하는 TV홈쇼핑 식공간 연출에서 표현되는 공간 깊이감이 표현되는 연출의 특성을 파악하기 위해 2005년 3월에서 2010년 11월까지 $C^*$홈쇼핑에서 실제로 방영된 식기 판매 방송 중 6개 브랜드 식기 판매 방송의 실제 연출 이미지 자료를 분석하고, 신뢰도 분석, 요인 분석과 다중 회귀분석기법을 사용하여 설문 조사를 통해서 감성 형용사 이미지어를 분석하였다.TV화면이라는 평면에 입체를 표현되는 연출의 특징은 크기의 비교, 중첩, 사선배치와 원근법적 배치로 추출하여 분석하였고, 식기방송에 주로 사용되는 카메라 앵글의 종류를 버즈 아이 뷰, 하이 앵글, 아이 레벨 등으로 구분하여 적용하였다. 이 분석의 결과로 정리되는 것은 소비자 선호도가 높은 연출은 브랜드 식기의 주요인에 높은 상관도를 보인 이미지어를 인식하는 경우라는 것이다. 따라서 카메라 앵글과 특성에 의한 선호 연출의 방향 제시가 가능하며, 소비자가 선호하는 정량적 데이터 베이스를 이용하는 새로운 개념의 공간 연출 개념이 가능하다고 본다.

스티븐 홀의 교육시설건축에 나타난 감성적 공간의 표현요소에 관한 연구 - 대학교육시설의 공공공간을 중심으로 - (An Study on the Expressive Elements of Sensible Space in Steven Holl's Educational Facilities - Focused on Public Space of University Facilities -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the methods applied to educational facilities of Steven Holl's architecture, especially focusing on sensible elements in the public space. Steven Holl has realized distinct space by applying very specific and limited concept. such as perspective space, color, light and shadow, time duration and perception, haptic realm, and proportion & scale. Education facilities designed by Steven Holl, are influenced the sensible aspects of space, form, materials, patterns, and other various sensible elements. Beyond the limits of color and sculptural vocabulary, Steven Holl utilizes a variety of ways which shown in educational facilities design and is identified by the emotional phenomenology of perceptual experience. Various elements in the public space are reinforced through light and materials to make experiential space in the educational facilities. This study used a composition of space that combines various sensible elements, meanings, and senses to examine how Steven Holl's architecture can mediate and reproduce user' emotional experiences and discover the existential relationship between space and user in public space of educational facilities.
