Design prototype is described from the stately aspect as a principle of formative art, and from the shapeable aspect of physical feature. The prototype can be a common denominator which is contained in one nation's culture, art and life, as the thing which corresponds to the daily industrial craft, architecture and art's production intention and activity with the thought and background of the culture. We have formed the design prototypes with time and space in the process which absorbs and integrates the new culture. Modern Korean design's prototype can be seen in the late Chosun. As the upper culture and sub-culture were combined, the active culture was developed. Nobody can deny that Chosun's culture and art becomes a basis of today's design and Korea's beauty. In creating the design prototype, the natural environmental factors such as topography and climate are the most important. Such natural environmental factor led the design recognition of art and craft art, as well as an architecture and indoor environment's form. Korea design produced the artisan sprite which is devoted to a moral duty and instinct as our nation's nature and emotion, and ensured the emotional process not the rational process. So, it created naturalism which accepted the material and shape. Our design prototype's path tracking as an energy of future society's new design identity, can be the important theme for our design development.
Due to the development of modern society, desire for residence is not merely for the purpose of habitation. It's also used to represent the joy of living, the resident's emotional expressions, and social status. In order to express such desires, one of the most important factors used to portray them visually is the usage of color. When apartments are constructed, model houses are created to show potential tenants a sample house. The color scheme of those sample houses have been changed in accordance to the transition in the eras. Since 2000, construction companies have created their own apartment brand in order to create their own signature image. To achieve this signature image, one can alter the surface level and use other materials, and colors. I have researched the usage of colors out of the above. The criteria that need to be fulfilled to be a subject for my research are in the top 5 construction companies of the year 2010, within the metropolitan area, and open after 2009. As the result, all construction companies used colors Y and YR. An as accent colors on props such furniture and curtains, they used colors P, PB, and R. They were differences in color tones in each construction company and as the square footage increase, they used color contrasts. Hillstate and Raemian used darker shades in the larger houses. But the color tones YR and Y were used in all houses regardless of their size. E-world, Xi, and Prugio showed differences in shade and tone of colors regardless of size but rather depending on the locations of the apartments.
This research is to analyze the change of pupil size in gender through the eye-tracking experiment in large complex cultural space. It is meaningful that figured out the common characteristics and differences from gender observation characteristics. Through this research, the analyzed results of the observation time measurement that appeared from the fixation and saccades pupil indicator able to define as follows. Firstly, it was suggested that there were differences between each gender and participants through extract pupil size that can be the standard examples for the case from male and female and the process of extracting the relative pupil size change on the hourly range. From the specific time range, it was possible to indicate bending characteristics and reversal phenomena of Fixation and Saccades. Second, the result was found equally from both male and female group that the rapid increment of pupil size at initial time range immediately after the eye-tracking experiment has been initiated. This can be considered to actively accepting the stress given by the subject through the extended pupil after 10 seconds that compare to indicated very low pupil size between 0 to 10 seconds after starting the experiment. Third, meanwhile 0 to 10 seconds after initial observation are the time of sudden change in the pupil size, therefore these time range data cannot be regarded as observed in the appropriate condition. Thus, it able to define the highest times of emotional processing for male as 10 to 80 seconds, and for female as 10 to 70 seconds. There was no definition of the time range data for observation experiment from previous research, this data can be considered to stable time to observation through the pupil extension. Therefore, it is possible to set suitable time of observation experiment to be around 70 to 80 seconds exclude initial experiment time.
The web as a sign synthesis text has become a kernel for incorporeal knowledge as well as a communication model through the ubiquitous environment all over the world. The evaluation of the communication model, which is essential for the information structure, acts as an important basis on determining the quality of the web contents. In this study, the development of the progress of the communication of semantic meaning in the construction of the information structure was analyzed in views of the form, the function, and the emotional effect of the rich media contents of the web. The transformation process from the initial access elements through the final selection elements was suggested as the communication model and the effects of the function of the information in the web on the process was assessed by the engineering and linguistic models of Shannon, Weaver, and Roman Jakobson. The results of this study showed that the environments such as the speed, the memory space, data compression technique, and data filtering have influences on the web contents expression and the evaluation of the communication model in connection with the environments is the basis in the information structure.

This study aimed to develop a 'star-car' operational program combining with the STEAM program and the PEST method for motivating elementary school students who belonged to less favored areas in terms of scientific culture to get an interest in astronomy and appropriately forming scientific concepts of Astronomy and Space and, subsequently, to examine the effectiveness of the program. For the purposes to be feasible, 5 experts participated in the study. They set a development direction of the program through a workshop, developed a draft with respect to a mobile astronomical observatory program of the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute, and then complete the development of the program through one trial application. The program which was developed in the study applied the STEAM program and targeted the elementary school students who lived in isolated regions of the scientific culture. The results of the research were as follows. First, The mobile astronomical observatory program developed in this study was improved as a program which stimulated the curiosity of elementary school students in all grades towards the Astronomy and Space. Second, The program developed in the study consisted of 11 periods in total; one period was for the presentation of the situation, five periods for emotional experience, the other five periods for creative design. Third, The results of analyzing the students' satisfaction were turned out to be effective in general. Judging from the aforementioned results, the mobile astronomical observatory program is expected to enhance learners' core competencies.

Biophilic design is an approach that attempts to connect people with nature to promote health, recovery and restoration processes. The purpose of this study was to systematically analyze restorative factors and characteristics of Soswaewon by applying a biophilic design analysis framework. To this end, a biophilic design classification system was established and content analysis and frequency analysis were conducted for 『Soswaewon 48 Young』. the ratio of plant words including bamboo, pine, and plum was the highest, and words related to dynamic water flow or interaction with water as well as various water types such as streams, waterfalls, and ponds were also high. appeared in rank. In addition, multisensory factors, seasonal changes, microclimatic factors, emotional elements that allow people to indirectly experience nature were expressed in various ways. The space layout and circulation provide opportunities to appreciate and experience the rich sensory resources of Soswaewon. In conclusion, this study confirmed the healing and restorative value of Soswaewon from the perspective of biophilic design, and it needs further research on the restorative factors of traditional spaces.
The modeling analysis for objects placed in a given space can be described objectively when their visual image structure is grasped. It can't be answered without first analyzing the basic program, visual expression. And when the whole aspect of the visual image of the desired interior utensils is presented, the mindset of its designer can be deduced from that. Therefore, the study was based on the lemon juice squeezer, one of the interior kitchen utensils that Philippe Starck designed for Italy ALESSI company. For the study method, putting'The Elements of Dynamic Symmetry' by Prof. Jay Hambidge into practice, 'paradigm' analysis containing the whole'lemon juice squeezer'image was attempted. And to describe it, the visual mark description method by Prof. Bok-Young Kim was used. In conclusion, henceforth, the relationship between interior space and articles, the relationship between object and user, the modeling critique or analysis of the production itself shoud not be intended to be emotional. On the contrary, the study presented an art analyic methodology that can analyze and describe the visual image structure numerically, and confirm the relationship between form and content.

This study conducted basic research on an LED lighting design to improve the learning effect from brain wave analysis. The ideal environments of mathematics, language, and creative region can be different. Inside the space where the lighting environment can be experienced directly, the test subject consisted of common elements. Other lighting was blocked completely in controlled lighting conditions. The brain waves were analyzed according to the change in color temperature and illumination. The analyzer used was fabricated by EMOTIV Company. In the variable RGB LED light, the color of the light was measured, and the brain wave of each subject was determined. LED lights have variable color temperature (3000 [K], 4500 [K]. 250 [lux], 70% -350 [lux], 100% -500 [lux]). As research results, the highest concentration in a mathematics study was in the general condition of a high color temperature, in which the optimal condition was a 6000[K] color temperature and 350[lux] illumination. The optimal condition for a language study was a 4500[K] color temperature and 500[lux] illumination, and that of the creative study was 3000[K] color temperature and 500[lux] illumination. Overall, the possibility of emotional ability and concentrated learning efficiency can be improved by the LED lighting design with the color temperature and illumination.
This study is based on theoretical background about movements of visual communication highlighted in digital age. Such movements are variously expressed in animation with the advancement of media, and their expression has great effect on visual art. Artists' concern and endeavor about movement expression techniques have been continued by impressionism, expressionism, futurism, cubism closely related with the birth of movie from late 19th century to early 20th century. At that time, stationary 2D space in plane screen couldn't express movement or time directly. Later, artists and designers have attempted to approach illusions in pictures or 4 dimension and movements by 2D or 3D computer graphics. The visual image in present digital age is to see, to hear, to feel by timing, so it is necessary for the most efficient way of message communication. And then, it is the time to start new, scientific, and creative study about production techniques of animation and expression of movements, since domestic animation productions are rapidly changed from cell to digital. The aim of this study is to clarify the motive of movement by theoretical inquiry of animation. Various aspects of animation as synthetic art have been examined by mathematical, scientific, and philosophical viewpoint. The results will be useful to the expression of motions for maximization of emotional effect in animation production or basic data of virtual simulation about certain situation. Therefore, such study should be managed as multidisciplinary research in the rapidly changing visual culture paradigm. namely, animation includes much more imaginative & creative power than simple function or techniques, so it has to be recognized as special synthetic art(visual art) constructing an area, the formative art with philosophical viewpoint and scientific principles.
Purpose: Recently, Korean cosmetics distribution market has been reorganized with the H&B store. In the domestic cosmetics distribution market, existing brand road shops are decreasing, and multi-shops are leading the H & B stores, which have greatly improved their experience and content. In these environmental changes, the offline distribution channels are turning into the multi-editing shops that have introduced products of various brands and greatly enhanced experiences and contents. Nevertheless, most studies of factors and measurement items for measuring customer experience in the H&B store use Schmitt (1999)'s Strategic Experience Modules (SEMs). Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose a measure that is practicable through consideration of the in-store customer experience components of the H&B store. Research design, data and methodology: Based on Schmitt's Strategic Experience Modules (SEMs), which are widely used in customer experience marketing, the metric pool was constructed through customer and literature research on H & B store managers. Since then, 101 preliminary surveys and 211 main surveys have been conducted in order to propose a dimension of customer experience and refine the metrics. Results: As a result of the research, H&B store's customer experience was derived from a measurement model consisting of 19 measurement items in total of five dimensions: environmental experience, intellectual experience, behavioral experience, tech experience, and relationship experience. This study analyzed that compared to the existing Schmitt's Strategic Experience Modules (SEMs), (1) emotional experience expanded to environmental experience, (2) Cognitive and relationship experiences are maintained (3) behavioral experience was subdivided into physical and technical experiences. In particular, the environmental experience has been proposed as a major component is an important point because the H&B store recently opened a large flagship store and is competitive in constructing a differentiated space. Conclusions: Related experience was seen as an important component of customer experience in the offline store, but in the process of refining the scale, interaction items with employees of the H&B store were removed, and rather, participation in the APP or SNS channel of the company, event Participation, interaction with other customers, etc. appear to be important, while suggesting the practical implications.
