  • 본 논문에서는 철도차량 견인전동기에 대한 상태진단 및 상시감시 기술에 관하여 소개하였다. 권선의 절연상태 진단을 위한 비파괴 시험법에서는 부분방전량 Q에 대한 평균열화도 $\Delta$로 표현되는 D-Map에 의해 잔여 절연내력(residual dielectric strength)을 예측하고, 기기의 운전이력측면에서 기동-정지 횟수와 열적, 전기적 및 열싸이클 스트레스 등에 의해 각 열화 인자를 고려한 운전시간에 기반한 N-Y 수명예측을 수행한다. 그리고 견인전동기의 전류에 대한 온라인 상태감시를 통해 베어링 고장, 고정자 및 전기자 고장, 고장 또는 전동기축 손상에 기인하는 비정상 운전상태 의 감지를 수행한다.

재난안전통신 환경에서 고출력 단말의 자원할당 기법 (Resource Allocation Scheme for Public Safety Communications with High-Power User Equipment)

  • 본 논문은 원활한 통신이 어려운 재난안전통신 환경에서 고출력 단말이 한정된 주파수 자원을 효율적으로 이용할 수 있는 자원할당 기법을 제안한다. 고출력 단말을 도입함에 따라 단말 당 전송률이 증가하고 서비스 영역이 커질 수 있지만 일반 단말과 동일한 주파수 자원을 재사용할 경우 간섭도 증가하여 재난지역 및 인접 지역 전체 시스템 성능 저하의 원인이 된다. 간섭에 의해 기존 셀룰러 시스템 성능에 영향을 미칠 수 있기 때문에 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project)에서는 고출력 단말의 사용 가능 주파수 대역을 상향링크 788-798MHz, 하향링크 758-768MHz로 제한하고 있다. 이러한 제약조건 하에서 단말의 최저 성능 보장을 위한 자원할당 방식을 제안하고 제안한 자원할당 방식의 성능을 모의실험을 통해 검증한다.

Airspace Safety Assessment for Implementation of the Japanese Domestic Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum

  • The Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM), which is the reduced minimum from 2,000 ft to 1,000 ft at flight levels (FL) between 290 and FL410 inclusive, was implemented in 30 September 2005 within the Japanese domestic airspace. Prior to the implementation, safety assessment for the airspace in assumed RVSM environments was carried out. Some model parameter values of collision risk model were estimated using flight plan (progress) data and radar data. An estimate of vertical collision risk including operational risk was calculated using these together with given parameter values. The results obtained from this analysis are as follows. (1) Contribution of the vertical collision risk for the crossing routes is about 9 percents of the total technical risk. (2) The estimate of the collision risk is $4.1{\times}10^{-9}$ [fatal accidents / flight hour] and the value is smaller than a maximum allowable level of collision risk, i.e. $5{\times}10^{-9}$ [fatal accidents / flight hour], called the Target Level of Safety.

스테레오스코픽 비디오의 시청안전성에 영향을 미치는 변위 및 화면 특성 (Disparity and Image Characteristics of Stereoscopic Video Affecting on Viewing Safety)

  • 본 논문은 시청안전성을 위한 콘텐츠 제작 가이드라인을 최종 목표로 하여, 콘텐츠의 내용이나 정황과 함께 시청자의 불편감을 유발하는 변위(disparity)의 다양한 요인들을 찾아내는 것을 목적으로 한다. 그 방법으로 네 가지의 스테레오스코픽 콘텐츠를 피험자들이 시청하게 하고 시청자로 하여금 불편감을 느끼는 기간 동안 키를 누르게 하여 실험적인 데이터를 획득한다. 콘텐츠에 대해서는 초점과 그 주위(관심영역, region of interest), 그리고 화면전체에 대하여 변위의 크기와 변화 정도에 대한 데이터를 도출한다. 각 콘텐츠에 대하여 준비한 두 종류의 데이터를 갖고 실제로 콘텐츠를 시청하면서 피험자들이 불편감을 느낀 부분을 분석하여 그 요인들을 찾는다. 모든 콘텐츠에 대한 요인들을 종합적으로 분석하여 요인별 강도를 도출한다. 분석결과는 강도가 큰 요인별부터 실제 콘텐츠의 내용과 더불어 설명한다. 그 결과는 이미 짐작할 수 있는 요인들뿐만 아니라 알려져 있지 않은 요인들까지 실증적으로 보인다.

ZVT Series Capacitor Interleaved Buck Converter with High Step-Down Conversion Ratio

  • Voltage step-down converters are very popular in distributed power systems, voltage regular modules, electric vehicles, etc. However, a high step-down voltage ratio is required in many applications to prevent the traditional buck converter from operating at extreme duty cycles. In this paper, a series capacitor interleaved buck converter with a soft switching technique is proposed. The DC voltage ratio of the proposed converter is half that of the traditional buck converter and the voltage stress across the one main switch and the diodes is reduced. Moreover, by paralleling the series connected auxiliary switch and the auxiliary inductor with the main inductor, zero voltage transition (ZVT) of the main switches can be obtained without increasing the voltage or current stress of the main power switches. In addition, zero current turned-on and zero current switching (ZCS) of the auxiliary switches can be achieved. Furthermore, owing to the presence of the auxiliary inductor, the turned-off rate of the output diodes can be limited and the reverse-recovery switching losses of the diodes can be reduced. Thus, the efficiency of the proposed converter can be improved. The DC voltage gain ratio, soft switching conditions and a design guideline for the critical parameters are given in this paper. A loss analysis of the proposed converter is shown to demonstrate its advantages over traditional converter topologies. Finally, experimental results obtained from a 100V/10V prototype are presented to verify the analysis of the proposed converter.

Case Studies of Comparing EN 954-1 and EN ISO 13849-1 Standard for Design of Industrial Machinery Safety Control System

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to compare old standard EN 954-1 and new standard EN ISO 13849-1 through case study and provide necessity of adaptation of EN ISO 13849-1 in Korea. Background: International and EU harmonized standard EN ISO 13849 "safety of machinery - Safety-related parts of control system" is classified into Part 1: General principles for design and Part 2: Validation. EN ISO 13849-1 standard was introduced in Official Journal of the European Union on September 8, 2009 as harmonized standard, and old standard EN 954-1 was withdrawn on December 31, 2011. So, EU decided to use of EN ISO 13849-1 standard forcibly from January 1, 2012 for safety of machinery. New machines need to be CE marked if they are to be placed on the market in the European Economic Area(EEA), Switzerland or Turkey, and Korean machine builder should apply EN ISO 3849-1 standard for safety of machinery accordingly. However, current Korean Safety Certification system(KCs mark) for dangerous machinery is not referred to EN ISO 13849-1 standard as safety standard. There is a need of research for adaptation of EN ISO 13849-1 standard in Korea as safety standards for new design of safety-related control system which use mostly electronic components. Method: Five case studies of representative designs for safety-related control system in accordance with EN 954-1were selected according to safety category from B to 4. And these five representative designs were tried to change new design in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 standard. The results of comparison were analyzed in aspect of economy and technical complexity. Results: The results showed that EN ISO 13849-1 provided quantitative method of application and it enabled designers to create safety-related control systems that require fewer components and less wiring, with many of the components being to a lower specification and, therefore, less costly. Conclusion: EN ISO 13849-1 standard is good for electronic safety-related control systems compare to EN 954-1. By considering the importance of application of EN ISO 13849-1 and benefits, the application of EN ISO 13849-1 as safety standard for safety of machinery is urgent in Korea. Application: The results of comparing EN 954-1 and EN ISO 13849-1 standard might help to determine the adaptation of EN ISO 13849-1 standard for safety of industrial machinery in Korea.

  • To investigate the genotoxic effect of 1, 1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane which was widely used as a cleaning solvent at the electronic part industry, the micronucleus frequencies were recorded by examining polychromatic erythrocytes in bone marrows of single i.p. injected mice at high doses and of the repeatedly inhaled rats for 13 weeks at relatively low concentrations.(omitted)

전자기기의 신호전송을 위한 Photo Couplers(P/C) 의 위험 요소 발굴 (Risk Factors Related to Photo Couplers(P/C) for Signal Transmission by Electronic Devices)

  • The purpose of this study is to find risk factors by analyzing the operation principle of a photo coupler (P/C) used to remove the noise of electronic devices and establish a base for the performance improvement of developed products. It was found from the P/C circuit analysis of normal products that they were equipped with an electrolytic condenser of $0.1{\mu}F$ to smooth system signals. Due to the epoxy resin packing the external part of the P/C, this study experienced a limit to visually examine the damage to it. It could be seen from the analysis of electric characteristics of the P/C that the forward voltage ($V_f$) and reverse current ($I_r$) were 1.3 V and 10 uA, respectively. In addition, it is required that the breakdown voltage (VCE) between the collector (C) and emitter (E) be maintained at less than 35 V. The and of the damaged product #1 were comparatively good. However, the measurement of was 100.0 uA. From this, it is thought that a short circuit occurred to the internal circuit. Moreover, from the fact that the of the damaged product #2 was open circuit and the measurement of was 0.0 uA, it is thought that the collector and emitter was separated or insulation resistance was significantly high. Furthermore, from the fact that the of the damaged product #3 was open circuit and the measurement of was 0.0 uA, it is thought that the space between the collector (C) and emitter (E) failed to meet the design standard or that they were separated. Therefore, it is thought that fabricating the P/C by increasing the reverse current 10 mA to 50 mA will prevent its malfunction.

  • 터널굴착에 있어 일반적인 발파공법으로는 발파시 발생되는 지반진동 및 소음 등의 발파공해로 인해 보안물건과 10~20m이내의 근접구간에 대한 시공이 불가하여 해당구간은 현재 주로 기계식 굴착공법을 시공중에 있으나 이 공법은 민원에 대한 환경성은 유리하나 시공성이 현저히 떨어져 공기 증가로 인한 시공비용 상승의 문제점을 발생시킨다. 본 연구는 현장 시험발파를 통해 초정밀 시차제어가 가능한 전자뇌관과 진동저감에 효과적인 미진동폭약(LoVEX)을 활용하여 일반적인 발파공법의 적용이 곤란한 터널 굴착구간에서도 주변 보안물건에 대한 안전성을 확보하고 시공성, 경제성 등을 확보할 수 있는 초저진동 전자제어발파공법을 연구, 개발하고자 하였다.

u-안심 서비스 프로토콜 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Protocol for u-Safety Service)

  • u-안심서비스 시스템은 GPS가 내장된 이동통신 긴급호출단말기, 이동통신망, 안심서비스사업자, 중계시스템, CCTV관제센터를 운영하는 단체와 CCTV망을 통하여 연동하므로 긴급 호출 신호 발생 시 실시간으로 호출자의 위치를 추적하고, 또 해당위치에 있는 CCTV들을 관제하여 호출자를 추적하여, 구난에 필요한 다양한 정보들을 보호자, 경찰서, 소방서, 병원, 구호단체 및 지자체 등에 SMS나 유선으로 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 u-안심서비스 중계시스템의 프로토콜 표준화를 위해 새로운 프로토콜을 설계하고 구현하였다. 설계한 u-안심서비스용 프로토콜(Protocol)을 실제 3GPP 및 3GPP2 이동 통신망에 적용했을 때의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하였다.
