초광대역특성을 가지는 Ferrite 전파흡수체의 설계방법 (Design Method of Electromagnetic Wave Absorber with Ultra Wide-Band Frequency Characteristics.)

  • A wide band design method of an electromagnetic wave absorber using exponentially tapered ferrite which has very wide band frequency characteristics is proposed and discussed. The wide band electromagnetic wave absorber can be designed by the proposed equivalent material constants method for the regions varying spatially in the shape of ferrite. Furthemore the wide band ferrite electromagnetic wave absorbers with taper which have not only excellent reflectivity frequency characteristics but also the band width of 30MHz to 2150 or 2450MHz under the tolerance limits of -20dB reflectivity were designed.

  • The method of Electromagnetic Wave Immunity Test is continuously endeavored by IEC and CISPR as international unification, but it has not been established yet. The main reason is why it is difficult to obtain the measurement method and normalization of threshold to find out the complicated parameters for Electromagnetic Wave immunity Test. So far, thus, the Electromagnetic Wave Immunity Test is carried out case by case as the electromagnetic environment, which is set up Electromagnetic Wave Immunity Test. This study has developed an algorithm and measurement software suitable for IEC1000-4 Regulations, where a ready-made Amplifier, and Signal Generator have been used and an interconnecting Interface Board has been constructed for connecting with the other apparatuses, i.e., RF Switch, Power Meter, Field Sensor, Pre-Amp., etc. Therefore, we have achieved the aim to develop an automated software using OOP method and the measurement system.

  • A method for suppressing unwanted resonance modes by attaching an electromagnetic wave absorber onto a metal case was studied to prevent performance deterioration of electronic devices. The electromagnetic wave absorber fabricated for this study had an attenuation characteristics above 20dB in the frequency band from 450MHz, 1150MHz. A rectangular cavity resonator whose resonance frequencies of TE$_{101}$, TE$_{102}$ modes were 900MHz, 1250MHz, respectively, was made to measure attenuation for the electromagnetic wave absorber-metal assembly. The result showed that the resonance mode for high attenuation was sensitive to the location of electromagnetic wave absorber, and the attenuation characteristics above 20dB could be obtained when electromagnetic wave absorber was properly positioned.

  • A design method of double layered electromagnetic wave absorbers with cross-shaped ferrite prominence in the second layer which has broad band frequency characteristics was proposed. The broad band electromagnetic wave absorber can be designed under some approximations by the theoretical model using the equivalent material constants method for the second layer. Based on the developed model broad band electromagnetic wave absorbers with excellent reflectivity frequency characteristics in the frequency range of 30MHz to 3,990MHz were designed.

  • 콘크리트 구조물 내의 철근탐사는 구조물의 상태를 평가하는 가장 중요한 단계중의 하나이다. 콘크리트 내의 철근 탐사 장비는 전자파레이더법과 전자기 유도법의 원리를 적용하고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 두 가지 원리를 적용한 비파괴시험장비의 철근직경, 피복두께 및 습윤상태에 따른 철근탐사 신뢰성을 시험적으로 분석하였다. 시험에는 1,000mm(길이)${\times}$300mm(폭)인 9개의 콘크리트 시험체가 이용되었으며, 시험체내 철근의 피복두께는 45, 60, 100mm로 변화시키고 배근간격은 100mm이상으로 하였다. 시험결과, 전자기 유도법의 경우, 철근직경이 커짐에 따라 오차가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 그 반면에 전자파레이더법의 경우, 실제 피복두께에 맞는 비유전율에 따라 계측하여 깊은 심도의 경우에도 신뢰성이 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

  • This Paper Presents the method for detecting a partial discharge(PD) using an electromagnetic wave measured by an antenna. The various electromagnetic waves are measured in the laboratory and wavelet transform, which is provides a direct quantitative measure of spectral content in the time-frequency domain, are applied for identifying the property of electromagnetic waves. Also, the statistical method and self-organizing feature map(SOFM) are applied for the pattern recognition of electromagnetic waves. The proposed method is shown to be useful for detecting electromagnetic waves emitted for PD in test data.

  • 초광대역 주파수 특성을 가지며, 제2층에 십자형 슬롯을 가지는 2층형 전파흡수체의 광대역 설계법을 제안하였다 이와같은 광대역 전파흡수체는 등가재료정수법을 적용한 이론 모델을 이용하여 설계할 수 있다. 제안한 모델을 바탕으로 30MHz~3,170MHz의 주파수 범위에서 우수한 반사감쇠 특성을 가지는 초광대역 전파흡수체를 설계하였다.

  • A design method of an electromagnetic wave absorber with ferrite fins in the second layer, which has very wide band frequency characteristics, is proposed and discussed. A theoretical model using the equivalent material constants method is adopted, assessed for its accuracy by comparision with the Hashin-Shtrikman formulas and compared with the conventional absorbers. Based on the model, a wide band electromagnetic wave absorber with excellent reflectivity frequency characteristics in frequency range of 30MHZ to 3530MHZ has been designed.
