의료과오를 줄이기 위한 효율적인 병원서비스운영에 대한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Efficient Hospital Service Operation Management for the Reduction of Medical Errors)

  • This paper presents a research model, which identifies a relationship between medical error reduction, efficiency of organizational systems, and employee satisfaction with organizational support. The proposed model was tested through hypotheses, based on data collected from 210 respondents from the medical staff of large -sized (i.e., more than 500 beds) residential hospitals in cities of South Korea. The results of the study showed that medical error reduction is associated with corrective system and employee satisfaction with organizational support. Therefore, it is very important that organizations improve their employees' satisfaction by providing sufficient support (e.g., information support and sharing, work guide book, etc.) for their work. In addition, in organizational systems, the corrective system has positive relationship with medical error reduction. In terms of corrective procedures, leaders or managers can make improvements by providing and supporting a friendly work environment where errors may be reported without blame and discussed in order to be corrected.

  • The forms of healthcare service delivery emerges from the interaction between technological progress and institutional changes. Building a healthcare system which enables effective and efficient patient care is a imperative to a sustainable operation of a society. Identifying of a promising medical technologies and diffusing them consists of the basic tasks of a good healthcare system. Inducing of a promising innovation in healthcare and utilization of the innovation requires a deep understanding of healthcare innovation system and delicate governmental intervention to the effective functioning of the system. Therefore, the support for R&D in healthcare field should be given to social and institutional technologies for the better organization of healthcare delivery and consumption system as well as basic and applied medical sciences.

  • Infrastructures in Japan constructed mostly in high economic growth period become elder & elder, and the troubles & accidents caused by the aging increase. Though investment for the renewal is necessary, the shortage of public fund delays the action. Besides, we expect the decrease of the population that means the decrease of the engineers who take care of social infrastructures. Thus, it is necessary for us to develop Advanced Management system of social Infrastructures (AMI) to realize the efficient and economical operation. Our concept of AMI consists of using ICT, PI (Public Involvement) and establishment of O&M diagnosis system. We expect AMI will support to realize the appropriate repairing, preventive maintenance based on the actual performance, accidents & dangerous experience and education & training of the workers. In this paper, development of AMI for the waste disposal facility as a first example of infrastructures will be shown.

  • The purpose of this research is to create an expert risk-based piping system inspection model. The proposed system includes a risk-based piping inspection system and a piping inspection guideline system. The research procedure consists of three parts: the risk-based inspection model, the risk-based piping inspection model, and the piping inspection guideline system model. In this research procedure, a field plant visit is conducted to collect the related domestic information (Taiwan) and foreign standards and regulations for creating a strategic risk-based piping inspection and analysis system in accordance with the piping damage characteristics in the petrochemical industry. In accordance with various piping damage models and damage positions, petrochemical plants provide the optimal piping inspection planning tool for efficient piping risk prediction for enhancing plant operation safety.

최적 제어와 신경회로망을 이용한 하이브리드 전기자동차 시뮬레이션 (The Realization of Optimal Control Operation of a Hybrid Electric Vehicle using Neural Network and the Cruise HEV Simulator)

  • The energy management of an HEV using optimal control and global optimization is thought to be closest to the best operation of the system. However, there are some controversies on the ways of defining the optimization problems and constituting the optimal control simulators. Here, we presented a simulator which adopts the concept of equivalent fuel economy and leads the vehicle to run in a more efficient way. In order to realize the optimal operation of the HEV and check the validity of the control logics, we also developed a forward-facing simulator. The simulator was developed with the Cruise and MATLAB co-simulation interface. Especially, neural network controller was used for the hybrid control module in the simulator. With the simulator, the optimal operation could be converted into hybrid control rules and the validity of the operation was verified.

  • Recently the design of railway systems have been performed, based on the analysis of operational conditions and service targets, it is to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of system operation. Many RAMS requirements have been developed to transform operation conditions into system design characteristics. However, our railway industry has not actived the application of RAMS into system design performance. According to short of RAMS application, many technologies that have been developed are not only applied the existing systems that is operating, but also have not succeed to apply for new systems. In order to design the effective and efficient railway systems that are optimized to operation conditions and service targets, a systems approach and RAMS management are necessary in railway development, operation and maintenance. Therefore, in this study, the RAMS performance requirement design methods are discussed. the allocation methods from system level to each devices of subsystems.

행위자연계망이론을 통한 영국 도시교외지역 관리시책의 운영과정 특성 분석 -테임즈 체이스 마을 숲 조성 시책을 사례로- (An Analysis of the Urban Fringe Management Initiative's Operational Process in UK Using the Actor Network Theory - A Case Study of Thames Chase Community Forest Initiative -)

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate and analyse how Community Forest Initiatives as urban fringe management initiatives made alliances with a variety of interest groups, enrol them in the urban fringe management processes using the Actor Network Theory. The Thames Chase Community Forest Initiative was selected and its area of operation included a $97 km^2$ area of green-belt area in East London. It was a instrument far improving and protecting the unique characteristics of the countryside landscape from urban developments as well as evaluating the impact of forestry inclusion in land use planning in the urban fringe. It was operated through a tiered structure comprising the Thames Chase Joint Committee and the management team. They employed a variety of devices to speak with one voice to bring about an effective operation process and to secure the enrolment of a variety of interest groups in its operational processes. Of note, the initiative's actor network impacted on improvement to and management of the countryside landscape despite not owning any land itself. As a result, when urban fringe management initiatives will be launched in South Korea to achieve a more effective and efficient urban fringe management, local councillors and representatives from public and non-government bodies should be more responsive to local communities' views and needs and work more vigorously on their behalf through lobbying, seeking media support, and so on. Moreover, better understanding and communication between local authorities' officers and management initiatives' teams are essential to avoid duplication of work practice.

  • 이 논문에서는 제한수신시스템의 일반구조 및 암/복호화에 사용되는 키의 안정성을 위한 키관리 메카니즘 그리고 시스템 성능 향상을 위한 키 계층 구조의 개선에 대해서 살펴본다. 또한 시스템 성능 분석을 위한 기본 개념으로 큐잉 이론(queuing theory)을 설명하고, 디지털 방송 유료화 서비스의 실현 및 시스템 성능 향상을 위한 시스템 최적화 방안으로서 몇 가지 산정된 자료를 기초로 하여 최적의 키 생성 및 전달 주기, 최적의 키관리 주기에 따른 최대/최소 키 전달 시간, 과금 데이터처리를 위한 전용선의 용량 및 시스템 용량을 산정 한다.

공모공격을 차단하는 효율적인 그룹 키 관리 (The Efficient Group Key Management Blocking Collusion Attack)

  • 인터넷상에서 멀티캐스트 서비스가 급속도로 증가하고 있으며 이에 따라 멀티캐스트 통신의 보안을 유지하는 것이 중요하다. 멤버의 탈퇴는 그룹키 관리의 확장성 문제와 밀접한 관계가 있다. 그룹의 한 멤버가 제거되면 새로운 그룹키를 생성하여 그룹의 나머지 모든 멤버들에게 전달되어야 한다. 새로운 키를 생성하여 분배하는 것은 많은 연산을 요구하므로 rekey하기 위하여 보내는 메시지의 수와 복합키를 생성하기 위한 연산비용을 최소화하는 것은 키 관리기법을 평가하는 중요한 기준이다. 일괄제거는 멤버를 순차적으로 1개씩 제거하는 것보다 rekey에 대한 메시지의 수와 복합키의 연산 비용을 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 그룹에서 제거될 멤버들간의 해밍거리가 임계치보다 작은 멤버들만 동시에 제거된다. 여러 개의 멤버를 제거할 때 라운드 조정 알고리즘을 수행하면 rekey를 위하여 메시지의 수와 복합키를 생성하기 위한 연산의 비용을 줄이며 공모공격의 가능성이 제거되는 이점이 있다.

본선미터링과 램프미터링을 이용한 고속도로 통합교통관리 전략 (Integrated Traffic Management Strategy on Expressways Using Mainline Metering and Ramp Metering)

  • 본 연구에서는 램프미터링과 요금소 본선미터링을 이용한 고속도로 통합교통관리 전략을 제시하였다. 램프와 본선의 통합 미터링을 위해 FREQ에서 램프미터링 진입허용 교통량의 최적화에 사용되는 Demand-Capacity 모형을 수정하여 최적 신호시간 산정모형을 제시하였다. 본 모형은 구간별 통과교통량을 최대화하는데 목표가 있으며, 본선 요금소 및 램프의 미터링 신호시간을 결정할 수 있다. 서울외곽순환선의 김포요금소~시흥요금소 구간을 대상으로 PARAMICS와 API를 이용하여 시뮬레이션 효과분석을 시행하였다. 시뮬레이션 분석결과, 본선미터링을 통해 램프미터링 단독 운영 대비 본선을 소통원활 상태의 속도로 유지할 수 있었으며, 정체구간에서 본선의 통과교통량이 14% 개선된 결과를 나타내었다. 또한 요금소에서의 신호운영으로 400m의 대기행렬이 발생되나, 정체의 분산으로 인해 본선과 램프 모두에서 보다 효율적 교통운영이 가능함을 확인하였다.
