중등 과학영재교육 담당교사의 전문성 향상을 위한 멘토링 프로그램에 대한 교사들의 요구 분석 (Analyses of Secondary Science Teachers' Needs for Mentoring Programs Improving Their Professionalism in Science-Gifted Education)

  • 이 연구에서는 중등 과학영재교육 담당교사의 전문성 향상을 위한 멘토링 프로그램에 대한 교사들의 요구를 분석했다. 서울특별시에서 중등 과학영재수업을 진행한 경험이 있는 교사 111명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시했다. 연구 결과, 많은 교사들이 과학내용 지식, 과학영재교육 신념에 관한 지식, 과학영재학생에 관한 지식, 과학영재 교수전략에 관한 지식, 과학영재 교육과정에 관한 지식, 과학영재교육 평가에 관한 지식, 과학영재교육 관련 외부 요인에 관한 지식 측면에서 멘토의 도움을 받기를 원했다. 그 중에서도 과학영재 교수전략에 관한 지식과 과학영재교육 평가에 관한 지식 항목에 대한 요구도가 비교적 높았는데, 그런 경향성은 전문성 수준에 대한 인식이 낮은 교사일수록 약간 강했다. 수업 준비 단계에서 전문성의 모든 하위 항목에 대한 멘토링 요구가 가장 많았으며, 수업 진행 단계와 반성 및 평가 단계에서도 일부 하위 항목에 대한 요구가 있었다. 전문성의 모든 하위 항목에서 강의나 집단 협의회 형태의 멘토링을 원하는 경우가 비교적 많았으며, 일부 교사들은 면대면 면담이나 온라인상에서의 실시간 또는 비실시간 면담 형태의 멘토링을 원하기도 했다. 적합한 멘토와 멘티의 비율에 대해서는 다양한 응답이 있었으며, 대부분의 교사들이 멘토에게 필요한 자질과 멘토링의 효과적인 활용을 위해 필요한 요인에 대해 긍정적으로 인식했다.

기본의학교육에서 동료지원학습의 활용과 효과 (Utilization and Effects of Peer-Assisted Learning in Basic Medical Education)

  • This review of the literature explored the experiences and effects of peer-assisted learning in basic medical education. Peer-assisted learning is most commonly utilized to teach clinical skills (including technical skills) and medical knowledge (76.4%). It has also been used, albeit less frequently, to facilitate small-group discussions including problem-based learning, to promote students' personal and professional development, to provide mentoring for career development and adaptation to school, to give tutoring to at-risk students, and to implement work-based learning in clinical settings. Near-peer learning is a common type. The use of active learning techniques and digital technology has been increasingly reported. Students' leadership had frequently been described. Student tutor training, programs for teaching skills, institutional support, and assessments have been conducted for effective peer-assisted learning. There is considerable positive evidence that peer-assisted learning is effective in teaching simple clinical skills and medical knowledge for tutees. However, its effects on complex skills and knowledge, small-group discussions, personal and professional development, peer mentoring, and work-based learning have rarely been studied. Additionally, little evidence exists regarding whether peer-assisted learning is effective for student tutors. Further research is needed to develop peer-assisted learning programs and to investigate their learning effects on student tutors, small-group discussion facilitation, personal and professional development, peer mentoring, and peer-led work-based learning in the clinical setting in South Korea. Formal programs and system advancement for a student-led learning culture is needed for effective peer-assisted learning.

Characteristics of Faculty Mentors in Library and Information Science Doctoral Education

  • Mentoring by faculty advisors is closely related to the personal and professional outcomes of doctoral students. However, few researchers have examined the characteristics of faculty mentors. To deal with this lack of research, the author attempted to explore the characteristics of faculty mentors from the perspective of Library and Information Science (LIS) doctoral students in the United States. In the study, the author combined interviews and a survey to examine the characteristics of faculty mentors. The interview and survey findings present a list of characteristics that are comprehensive and specific to LIS doctoral education. Specifically, the author describes a faculty mentor as a well-rounded person who possesses both professional and interpersonal characteristics. In addition, the findings show some aspects in which the current advising/mentoring could improve. The current study offers a guideline for the accomplishment of doctoral mentoring at a concrete level, rather than vaguely recommending that faculty advisors support the professional and psychosocial development of their students. In a following paper, the author will relate background characteristics of doctoral students to their perception of mentors.

창업 멘토링 기능이 교육만족과 추천의도 그리고 창업의도에 미치는 영향 : 여대생을 중심으로 (The Effect of Entrepreneurial Mentoring Quality on Educational Satisfaction, Recommendation Intention and Entrepreneurial Intention : Focused on Female College Students)

  • Purpose - Recently, entrepreneurship education has been revitalized with interest in entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship education is an educational service activity that is provided for entrepreneurship and individual start-up success within a certain period of time. According to previous studies on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship, the satisfaction of entrepreneurship education affects entrepreneurship and as a result increases entrepreneurship. In recent years, the number of female entrepreneurs has also increased as the number of entrepreneurial issues has increased. Based on previous studies, this research proposed the theoretical framework about the structural relationships among mentoring quality (career development, psychological social, role modeling), education satisfaction, recommendation intention and entrepreneurial intention. This study is to find out the possibility of attempting to create a theoretical basis for entrepreneurial mentoring education in entrepreneurship education program. Research design, data, and methodology - In this model, mentoring quality consists of three sub-dimensions such as career development, psychological social, and role modeling. In order to test research model and hypotheses, the data were collected from 203 female college students who participated in entrepreneurial education. The data were analyzed using frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equational modeling with SPSS 24.0 and SmartPLS 3.0 statistical program. Result - The results of the study are as follows. First, role modeling has a positive effect on recommendation intention and entrepreneurial intention. Second, career development has a strong negative effect on the entrepreneurial intention. Third, career development and role modeling had a positive effect on educational satisfaction, and educational satisfaction had positive influence on recommendation intention and entrepreneurial intention. Conclusions - As women's social advancement becomes more active, start-up support programs including entrepreneurship mentoring are increasing. The results of this study suggest how to use the mentoring program mix and how to allocate the resources for the education program when the entrepreneurial education manager plans and executes the mentoring education program. For example, this study shows that career development and role modeling enhance educational satisfaction, and in turn increase recommendation intention and entrepreneurial intention. This means that entrepreneurship education should consist of contents that include career development functions such as sponsorship, guidance, protection, and provision of challenging work. In addition, the findings of this study indicate that mentors should perform the function of allowing the participants to have confidence and professional thinking ability at the time of start up based on their experiences.

OFD와 컨조인트 분석을 이용한 여대생 사이버 멘토링 시스템 구축 사례 연구 (QFD and Conjoint Analysis for Cybe-mentoring System for Female College Students)

  • Providing female students with competitive advantages in their social activity became one of the important issues of the college education in Korea. Thereupon, for the purpose of more effective and systematic support for the female students, many universities have adopted the cyber mentoring system. However, customers' requirements for such cyber mentoring systems are not reflected at the initial stage, resulting in some inefficient performances. In this study, we propose a desirable cyber mentoring system reflecting female students' requirements by using QFD and conjoint analysis. We expect that the proposed system will help to cultivate high quality female resources in a more effective way.

다차원 정책분석 모형을 적용한 대학생의 저소득층 자녀 교육멘토링 참여에 미치는 요인 분석 (The Analysis of Factors Influencing College Student's Educational Mentoring Participation for low-income Children : Application of Cooper's Multiple lense)

  • The study aims to analyze of factors influencing on the mentoring participation of college student for low-income children using Cooper's multiple lense. The multidimensional policy analysis model is composed of the normative dimension, structural dimension, constructive dimension, technological dimension. The results of the research are as follows. First, the education difference solution shows the meaningful positive relationship in the category of normative dimension. Second, the budget and support setup shows the meaningful positive relationship in the category of technological dimension. But other factors do not show the meaningful influence.

참여동기와 창업멘토링이 창업교육만족도 및 창업의지에 미치는 영향: '학생 창업유망팀 300(U-300)' 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on the Effect of Motivation and Satisfaction on Experiential Entrepreneurship Education)

  • 최근 대학에서는 다양한 형태의 창업친화적 학사제도를 활성화하기 위해 정규 창업교과 및 비교과 활동을 적극적으로 개발하고 적용시켜 나가고 있다. 아울러 정부에서도'학생 창업유망팀 300(U-300)'과 같은 다양한 체험형 창업교육 프로그램을 마련하여 전국 대학의 창업 동아리를 대상으로 창업멘토링 등 전문적인 창업교육을 지원하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 창업멘토링 등을 중심으로 한 체험형 창업프로그램 참가자를 대상으로 참여동기, 창업멘토링 기능, 멘토 역량이 창업교육만족도 및 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 창업교육프로그램에 대한 교육 참여동기와 멘토역량은 창업교육만족도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 둘째, 참여동기와 멘토링 기능은 창업의지에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구결과는 현재 양적으로 확대되어지고 있는 대학 내 창업교육을 보다 효과적으로 추진하기 위해서 체험적 교수방법의 확대와 창업멘토링 등 창업교육의 질적 효과 창출에 대한 다양한 제고가 필요함을 시사하고 있으며, 향후 창업멘토링을 수행하는 창업멘토의 전문역량 강화를 위한 정책적 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이라고 판단된다.

학교도서관을 활용한 독서 멘토링 활동의 경험과 교훈 (Experiences and Lessons from the Reading Mentoring Programs in School Libraries)

  • 학교도서관이 상황이 열악하다보니 학교도서관의 운영이나 독서교육과 관련하여 지역의 공공도서관에 도움을 청하는 학교가 적지 않다. 그러나 공공도서관이 처한 여러 가지 현안을 해결해 나가는 데에도 벅찬 실정에서 학교도서관 지원에 관한 업무까지 해나가야 한다는 사실에 공공도서관에서는 적지 않은 부담을 느끼고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 부산시에서는 지역대표도서관인 부산시립시민도서관과 대학의 문헌정보학과, 그리고 지역교육청이 공동으로 참여하여 '학교도서관을 활용한 독서 멘토링 활동'을 시범적으로 전개해 보았다. 이 연구는 지난 7개월 간의 경험을 토대로 학교도서관의 독서교육을 활성화하기 위한 방안으로서 독서 멘토링 활동의 효과에 대해 고찰하는데 목적을 두고 있다.

3년제 유아교육과 신입생의 학과 적응을 위한 멘토링 프로그램 개발 (The development of a mentoring program assisting freshmen belonging to the early childhood education in three year college to adapt to their major)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 3년제 유아교육과 신입생의 학과 적응을 돕기 위한 멘토링 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 신입생의 학과 적응에 대한 어려움의 목록을 추출하기 위해 focus group 인터뷰를 하였다. 이후, 신입생의 학과적응을 도와주기 위한 방법에 대해 학년별로 브레인스토밍과 서술식 질문지로 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 3년제 유아교육과 신입생의 어려움은 개인 내 어려움, 대인간 어려움, 지원체계에 대한 것이었다. 신입생의 어려움을 돕기 위해서는 신입생 겪는 어려움을 해소시키는 것과 그들의 대학생활 적응을 돕기 위한 정보 안내가 필요하였다. 3년제 유아교육과 신입생의 학과적응을 위한 멘토링 프로그램은 신입생이 겪는 학과 적응의 어려움 해소를 위한 내용과 신입생에게 필요한 정보 안내에 대한 내용으로 구성되었다. 프로그램은 총 8회기로 구성되었으며, 그 내용은 시간 관리, 학업 활동, 사회적 관계 형성, 진로 및 취업 준비, 교과 외 활동으로 범주화할 수 있었다.

IPA분석을 통한 창업보육센터 입주기업의 지원 방향 도출에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Support Direction for Start-up Company in Incubation Center through IPA Analysis: Focusing on the Youth Cube in Ansan)

  • In order to support start-ups effectively with limited resources, it is necessary to provide support tailored to start-up companies. Businesses that are operating in local incubation centers may have different demands for the support depending on the region characteristics. This study was worked on companies that have entered into the incubation center 'Youth Cube', which is operated by Ansan City. We investigated the perception of importance in the field of support to identify support policy priorities, and the satisfaction level of each field of support currently supported. Then We conducted an IPA analysis to derive the direction of support. The Ansan area has regional characteristics that it is located in the metropolitan area with well-equipped start-up infrastructure and many innovative institutions, As a result of the importance survey, technology commercialization was recognized as the most important, and education/mentoring was recognized as the least important. Satisfaction with the space and facilities that can be used free of charge was the highest, and the satisfaction was the lowest for entrepreneurship education/mentoring, as was the degree of importance. In addition, according to each quadrant, we derived support that should be maintained, support that should be intensively improved, support that should be given a low policy priority, and support directions that should be kept in mind to avoid excessive support.
