Purpose: Electric vehicle (EV) technology started in 2015 in Thailand. The Thai Government has indicated that 30% of all cars produced in Thailand by 2025 will be EVs. Using EVs in Thailand will reduce road pollution and increase energy efficiency, especially in major cities. Hence, the adoption of EVs in the country has been promoted. This study pointed out that social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived enjoyment, environmental concern, attitude, and perceived behavioral control are key factors affecting the behavioral intention to adopt EVs among logistic and distribution firms in Thailand. Research design, data, and methodology: 500 top management, middle management and purchasing managers of logistic and distribution firms in Thailand are surveyed. The study employed judgmental, convenience, and snowball sampling. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM) are the main statistical tools for data analysis. Results: The results show that all determinants impact customers' willingness to adopt EVs, except perceived enjoyment and environmental control. Conclusions: The study proposes to promote the incentives by decreasing electricity prices and endorsing EVs purchase to accelerate the adoption of EVs in Thailand. Therefore, future policies should focus on behavioral intention toward EVs amongst logistic and distribution firms for enhancing the future of mobility in Thailand.

Efforts to respond to climate change are being made in various ways around the world, and in the energy field, continuous research and pilot projects are underway through new and renewable energy, efficient power grid management, and power grid services. Systems are in place to realize these efforts, and the systems created allow for better effectiveness. When implementing a system, systems engineering methodology helps design a more systematic system and can provide verification accuracy and uniformity through intuitive connectivity. In this paper, the original requirements of the power grid stabilization system and the architecture of the system's essential constraints are constructed as a conceptual model and the boundaries and flows between components are defined. By utilizing distributed resources such as EV(Electric Vehicle) and ESS(Energy Storage System) in the power service platform system, we plan to design and build a next-generation power service system that can participate in the power stabilization market and implement a system necessary to respond to climate change in the future.
In this paper a high efficiency wireless on-board charger for Electric Vehicle (EV) is proposed and the theoretical analysis based on the two-port network model to come up with suitable design for the battery charge application is presented. The proposed Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) method has adopted four-coil system with air core and its superior performance is proved by comparing it to the conventional two-coil system by the mathematical analysis. In addition, since the proposed WPT converter is able to operate at an almost constant frequency regardless of the load, CC/CV charge of the battery can be simply implemented. A 6.6kW prototype is implemented with 20cm air gap to prove the validity of the proposed method. The experimental results show that the dc to dc conversion efficiency of the proposed system achieves 97.08% at 3.7 kW.

Cabin noise due to the electric powertrain of electrical vehicle may consists of motor noise caused by electrical mismatch and gear noise coming from reduction gearbox. These sound may be considered rather small noise compared to those of internal combustion engine, but without masking effect, the noise can be more annoying for customer. Thus, this paper demonstrates the characteristics of electrical vehicle powertrain noise, and the effect of passive damping material for the noise reduction. The typical motor noise can be affected by the motor torque. Also, it is demonstrated that the reduction gearbox may be a weak point for the noise path compared to the motor housing. With vehicle test, it is shown that the damping patch is more effective for noise reduction with deceleration condition than with acceleration condition.
The market for electric vehicles is growing due to the public's interest in the environment and the expansion of electric vehicle support projects in terms of government policy. This study surveyed 2,332 people in Jeju, one of the nation's representative areas of electric vehicles, and the higher the perceived value in terms of the total cost of automobile ownership for electric vehicles, the higher the intention to purchase electric vehicles. The higher the level of knowledge and attachment, the higher the intention to purchase electric vehicles. While many previous studies considered economic value mainly as price, the study was conducted to approach economic value in terms of total cost of ownership. Marketing practitioners also look for practical contributions in that they can propose price framing so that customers can judge the economic value of the electric vehicle as a strategic way to increase the intention to purchase the electric vehicle, rather than just the purchase price. can see. In addition, the same research should be conducted in various regions besides Jeju, so that the research results can be generalized.

Lithium-ion batteries (LIB) are widely used in various sectors, such as transportation (e.g., electric vehicles (EV)) and energy (e.g., energy storage facilities) due to their high energy density, broad operating temperature (-20 ℃ ~ 60 ℃), and high capacities. LIBs are powerful but fragile on external factors, including pressure, physical damage, overheating, and overcharging, that cause thermal runaway causing fires and explosions. During a LIB fire, a large amount of oxygen is generated from the decomposition of ionogenic materials. A water fire extinguisher that helps with cooling and suffocating must be essentially required at the same time. In fact, however, it is difficult to suppress LIB fires in the case of EVs because a LIB is installed with a battery pack housing that interrupts direct extinguishing by water. Thus, this study aims to investigate effective fire extinguishing measurements for LIB fires by using an EV. Relevant documents, including research articles and reports, were reviewed to identify effective ways of LIBs fire extinguishing. A real-scale fire experiment generating thermal runaway was carried out to figure out the combustion characteristics of EVs. This study revealed that the most effective fire extinguishing measurements for LIB fires are applying fire blankets and water tanks. However, there is still a lack of adequate regulation and guidelines for LIB fire extinguishment. Taking this into account, developing functional fire extinguishment measurements and available regulatory instruments is an urgent issue to secure the safety of firefighters and citizens.
The 42V Mild Hybrid System has been released into market by Toyota for the first time in the world in 2001. The set-up employs an inverter unit to control the motor/generator (MG) electronically. The driving system called such as Toyota Mild Hybrid System (TMHS) has additional new functions to conventional internal combustion engines. When stopping vehicle, the engine stops promptly. When starting vehicle, by releasing the brake pedal MG starts the vehicle at the same time (EV-driving mode). When stepping on the accelerator pedal, or after a given period of time the engine firing occurs and the engine-driving mode starts. When running by motor, the power is supplied to the motor from 36V battery through the inverter. High outputs and instant responses are required for Inverter. At the same time, the compact volume is required to fit into the limited space of the engine room. The compact size and high output are also required to Power Capacitor used for this inverter. The power capacitors has been newly developed, shaped in "flat" type, suitably for the inverter. The points of developments on inverter and power capacitor are described in this paper.his paper.

Recently, the development and dissemination of electric vehicles is increasing as a solution for carbon and emission reduction. In Korea, the supply of electric vehicles and the expansion of chargers are increasing rapidly every year under the supervision of the Ministry of Environment. In this paper, we study the portable smart test technology which enables quick check of charge related to faults in both electric car and charger to solve the problem of failure which is inevitable in the diffusion of electric car charger. To verify the normal operation of the communication protocol between the electric car and the charger, a hardware module and software were constructed, and a portable tester based on the international standard considering the V2G technology was developed and evaluated.
In this paper, we propose the development of a power conversion system for electric power take-off (e-PTO) of agricultural electric vehicles. Most e-PTOs use commercial power $220V_{AC}$. A bidirectional power conversion system having a two-stage structure consisting of a DC-DC converter and a DC-AC inverter for supplying a high output voltage using a low battery voltage of an agricultural electric vehicle is suitable. we propose a power conversion system consisting of the one-stage dual active bridge (DAB) converter and the two-stage bidirectional full bridge inverter. In addition, we propose a soft start algorithm for reducing the inrush current generated by the link capacitor charging during the initial operation. A 3kW prototype system and its corresponding algorithms have been implemented to verify its effectiveness through experiments.
