경영정보시스템 도입비용에 따른 활용 및 경영기여에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 전자부품 제조업에서의 ERP도입 활용과 경영기여도를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Effect of Performance and Business Management According to ERP Investment)

  • The main purpose of this study is to identify the factors influencing the implementation performance of ERP system from the investment such as hardware, software and consulting fee. The main goal of this study to analyze of ERP system implementation in various sections depending on the amount of investment and research about the contribution of ERP utilization on overall PCB business activities. Survey questionnaires were distributed via post and fax to PCB (Printed Circuit Board)Company in Korea. The results of this study can be summarized as follow. First, only 43.1% of respondents implemented ERP system at the enterprise level, which shows that ERP system does not completely play its role as a truly integrated system. Second, companies shows higher satisfaction rate with selectively invested on particular sub-modules. Third, the efficiency of ERP system can be maximized by improving efficiency on core areas through selective investments. Also, this can be maximized by performing overall investments on the general environment in addition to the direct investment on ERP. Lastly, 59.26% of respondents reported that the utilization of ERP has highly significant effects on the contribution of business whereas 29.63% respondents reported as significant effects on the business. These shows positive effects of ERP on the contribution of business.

Master Data Management API for Assembled ERP Tools

  • In this paper, we propose a new model, assembled ERP, to analyze the reason why the small and medium sized companies have a low ERP implementation rate and to solve this. As a result of our analysis, the high initial costs and time required for implementing ERP keep such companies from implementing it as they have relatively limited resources. The assembled ERP model, however, reduces the scale of ERP by developing the ERP for the unique business of each and connecting a few 3rd-Party applications as a module to make ERP for common work. Also it enables easier data utilization by drawing up an API list that connects the 3rd-Party applications to the developed ERP when the user lacks knowledge in the master data of the 3rd-Party applications. Therefore it lets the small and medium sized companies introduce the ERP more easily by reducing the costs for ERP implementation and user training.

  • The purpose of this paper is to give information on e-CPC implementation in the manufacturing industry by studying and analyzing a small and medium sized manufacturing company. After analyzing Various factors on J's e-CPC implementation such as environmental factors, process management factor, and result factors, success factors on J's e-CPC implementation are analyzed. The results of this paper can be summarized as follows. First, the most leading role on J's ERP implementation is the will and support of CEO and team leaders. They led the implementation to be stability successfully by settling the different opinions among teams, showing their ability on process decision and communication with consultants. Second, J tried to prompt system stability by mapping out and conducting the long term change management strategy. Third, J organized ERP project team to implement ERP quickly, and it turned out to be successful Finally, J tried to get outside information from consultants and collaborative companies that have experience in implementing ERP. Especially J made full use of overseas consultants. In respect that this paper giver lots of information on e-CPC implementation in manufacturing industry by a case study of a small and medium sized manufacturing company which has not been carried out so far, it would be useful enough.

  • we can easily find numerous cases, where the outcomes are not up to their expectations, despite the enormous efforts and investments poured on developing ERP systems. Consequently, we are in need of a new methodology for efficient implementation and Maintenance of an ERP system. Therefore, we have investigated and analyzed various problems that may occur in adopting ERP systems, such as high implementation costs, shortage of professional manpower, and lack of active participation from insiders. In this thesis, we developed a new ERP system, focusing on accounting management modules and benchmarked our proposed model to one of the real companies.

  • ERP is a new concept which attempts to combine the applications of BRP and information technology in order to enhance the competitive positions of the firms in a rapidly changing environment. It is expected that a paradigm transition will take place which transforms the current practice of in-house development into the introduction of ERP packages. In response to this trend. ERP introduction strategies need to be investigated. This paper reports the case study of Standard Telecom Co. in successfully implementing Oracle ERP applications package. It describes the background, implementation strategy, project management, benefits, and the critical success factors of the Vanguard Project.

ERP를 통한 통합정보시스템의 구현 전략 : A기업의 사례 (An Implementation Strategy of Intergrated Information Systems Through ERP : A Case of Firm A)

  • Today, ERP becomes very popular as a vehicle of implementing an integrated information system since this package not only facilitates reengineering but also provides the function of generating consolidated financial statements. Yet a successful introduction strategy on the integrated information system needs to be set up because ERP has weaknesses as well as strengths. The strengths include the prompt reaction to environmental changes, the integrated management of information, the adoption of open systems, and the selection of modules according to functionsl However, the weaknesses of ERP include the provision of only basic functions, the development of package on international standard processes, and possible disadvantages to small and medium-sized firms. This paper is to suggest recommendations on the implementation strategy of ERP as an integrated information system. According to the case study with Firm A that has successfully implemented an ERP package, the most significant advantage of adopting ERP was that Firm A was able to implement an integrated information system for only six months. Finally, this research generates suggestions, such as the importance of the project team structure, the sufficient amount of time for education, and the minimization of the package modification.

  • This study has focused on the introduction each stages of ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation for an agricultural company's knowledge management & innovation. We have analyzed the company's background and found some conflicts and problems caused by the stockholders while implementing ERP systems. This case study has noted well how an agricultural company including between a provider and a stakeholder could be able to settle the ERP system with an necessary customizing work into the organization. Finally, ROSEPIA's implemented ERP systems have increased not only productivity but also archived the factuality and data reliability. This study give us an implication of how an export oriented and agricultural company, ROSEPIA made its company innovated and run its organizations through knowledge management using its ERP.

통합정보시스템의 조직 통제에 미치는 영향 : ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) 시스템 도입을 중심으로 (The Effects of Integrated Information Systems on the Organizational Control : A Focus of ERP Implementation)

  • This study attempts (1) to analyze the changing pattern of organizational control by investigating the impacts of ERP implementations on the determinants of organizational control types and (2) to compare the performance variances based on the fitness between implementation of ERP and the changed mode of organizational control. Research results reveal that firms with ERP shows high degree of information integration, which partially affects the determinants of organizational control types. Also, results indicate that firms now with ERP shows the higher levels of both behavior and output control than without ERP, and the magnitude of change in behavior control level was greater than that of output control level. Finally, this research suggests that while the firms that implemented ERP for the purpose of quality and service improvement need to more focus on behavior control than on output control, the firms for the purpose of cost reduction need to excercise more output control in order to establish a cost effective control strategy.

  • 본 논문은 ERP시스템의 가동(Go-Live)단계에서 발생하는 프로젝트 활동들과, 현재 ERP도입과 관련하여 주요 이슈(issues)로 등장하고 있는 커스터마이징, 프로세스 표준화, 단계적 도입, 기존시스템과의 병행가동 등의 활동이, 어떻게 상호작용하여 ERP 도입 후의 사용만족도에 영향을 미치는가에 대하여 분석하였다. 즉, 본 논문의 주된 관심은 ERP시스템을 성공적으로 가동하는데 영향을 미치는 요인들을 실증분석을 통하여 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 논문은 ERP 도입 프로젝트의 마무리 과정인 가동단계에서의 활동을 분석해 독립변수로 하고, 이들 가동시점활동에 영향을 미치는 주요 ERP 도입이슈인 커스터마이징, 프로세스 표준화, 단계적 도입, 기존시스템과 병행가동의 정도를 조절변수로 하여, 이들 변수가 종속변수인 ERP의 사용 만족도에 미치는 조절효과를 검정하였다. 본 논문은 이를 통하여 ERP시스템의 가동단계에서 발생하는 활동들을 어떻게 해결하는 것이 향후 ERP시스템을 성공적으로 활용하는 데 보다 효과적인지에 대한 구체적인 방안을 유도하였다. 분석결과는 기업들이 ERP를 가동하고 유지 관리하는 데에 유용한 참고자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.
