Conventional RF energy harvesting systems can harvest energy and decode information from same source as an Hybirid-AP (H-AP). However, harvesting efficiency is seriously dependent on distance between users and H-AP. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed a transmission model for RF harvesting consisting of information and power source separately called Decoupled RF Energy harvesting networks. Main purpose of this paper is to maximize energy efficiency under various constraints of transmit power from H-AP and power beacon (PB), minimum quality of service and quality of harvested power of each users. To measure proposed model's performance, we proposed optimal time scheduling algorithms for energy efficiency (EE) maximization using Lagrangian dual decomposition theory that locally maximizes the EE by obtaining suboptimal values of three arguments : transmit power of H-AP, transmit power of PB, frame splitting factor. Experiment results show that the proposed energy-efficient algorithms converge within a few iterations with its optimality and greatly improve the EE compared to that of baseline schemes.

The purpose of this study was to measure flavonoid and polyphenol contents, and physiological activities of various extracts from Vitex rotundifolia seeds (known as Man Hyung Ja). We obtained three extracts using water (WE), ethanol (EE) and hot water (HWE). The EE sample had the highest flavonoid content of 31.05 mg/g. Polyphenol contents of WE and HWE were 186.69 mg/g and 182.55 mg/g, respectively. HWE had the highest superoxide dismutase (SOD)-like activity, at 83.40%. The electron donating abilities (EDA) were $91.14{\sim}95.97%$ at the concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, and all of extracts showed more than 88% EDA even at a concentration of 0.1 mg/mL. The inhibitory rates of xanthine oxidase were $94.02{\sim}97.51%$ when 1.0 mg/mL extracts were used, and all extracts showed more than 90% inhibition at 0.5 mg/mL. The nitrite scavenging abilities were $59.27{\sim}86.61%$ at pH 1.2 and 1.0 mg/mL extract concentration; these abilities decreased as pH increased. Tyrosinase inhibition activities of HWE and WE were 48.58% and 46.67%, respectively. These results indicate that Vitex rotundifolia seeds extract might be an effective antioxidative activity.
In this paper, we designed a adder and a multiplier using current mode T-gate on $GF(2^2)$. The T-gate is consisted of current mirror and pass transistor, the designed 4-valued T-gate used adder and multiplier on $GF(2^2)$. We designed its under 1.5um CMOS standard technology. The unit current of the circuits is 15㎂, and power supply is 3.3V VDD. The proposed current mode CMOS operator have a advantage of module by T-gate`s arrangement, and so we easily implement multi-valued operator.

In order to calculate the Crop Water Stress Index (CWSI), it is necessary to collect weather data (air temperature, humidity, wind speed and solar radiation) and canopy temperature. However, it is not always available to have necessary data sets for CWSI calculation. Therefore, this study was aimed to develop an easy and simple CWSI equation (CWSIEE) using only two data, air and canopy temperatures. Infrared sensors and weather sensors were installed on apple and peach trees and nearby a study area and every ten-minute data were collected from June to October in 2018 and 2019, respectively. A relationship between air-canopy temperature difference and CWSI was statistically analyzed and used to develop CWSIEE using the three dimensional Gaussian model. The performance of CWSIEE against original CWSI showed R2 and NSE to 0.780 and 0.710 for apple trees and R2 and NSE to 0.884 and 0.866 for peach trees. This study found that the level of crop water stress could be easily calculated using CWSIEE with only air and canopy temperature data.
By computer simulation, the pattern of magnetic field distribution on the Nb-foil of a rotating flux type superconducting power supply has been calculated. Using the results, the current pumping rate has been calculated and compared with the results obtained by the experiment. The experiment has been executed with small-size flux-rump in the environment of LN2 and LHe in order to compare the pattern of magnetic filed in the superconducting state and in the normal state. Five hall-sensor was located on the center, right side, left-side, upper side, lower side of the Nb-foil in order to obtain more accurate pattern of the magnetic field generated by rotating pole. In the simulation, the effects of the excitation-magnet and the iron core located at the inner-side and circumference of the magnet have been considered. By comparing the data from the experiment and the results from the simulation, the size of normal spot estimated. At the same time, by calculating the linkage flux, the current-pumping-rate has been obtained. Consequently, the results obtained from experiment and simulation coincided as expected.

This paper presents the design and measurement of a 2.4/5.2-GHz dual band VCO with a balanced frequency doubler in $0.18\;{\mu}m$ CMOS process. The topology of a 2.4 GHz VCO is a cross-coupled VCO with a LC tank and the frequency of the VCO is doubled by a frequency balanced doubler for a 5.2 GHz VCO. The gate bias matching network for class B operation in the balanced doubler is adopted to obtain as much power at 2nd harmonic output as possible. The average output powers of the 2.4 GHz and 5.2 GHz VCOs are -12 dBm and -13 dBm, respectively, the doubled VCO has fundamental harmonic suppression of -25 dB. The measured phase noises at 5 MHz frequency offset are -123 dBc /Hz from 2.6 GHz and -118 dBc /Hz from 5.1 GHz. The total size of the dual band VCO is $1.0\;mm{\times}0.9\;mm$ including pads.
In this paper, the business process was easily modeled by distinguishing between the business process and work logic. Based on this model, B2Bi collaboration Workflow modeling tool, which facilitates collaboration, was designed and implemented. The collaboration workflow modeling tool consists of 3 components; business process modeling tool, execution engine and monitoring tool. First, a business process modeling tool is used to build a process map that reflects the business logic of an application in a quick and accurate manner. Second an execution engine provides a real-time execution environment for business process instance. Third, a monitoring tool provides a real-time monitoring function for the business process that is in operation at the time. In addition to this, it supports flexibility and expandability based on XML and J2EE for the linkage with the legacy system that was used previously, and suggests a solution for a new corporate strategy and operation.
As experiential education services are growing, the need for proper management is increasing. Considering that adequate measures are an essential factor for achieving success in managing something, it is important for managers to use a proper system of metrics to measure the performance of experiential education services. However, in spite of this need, little research has been done to develop a valid and reliable set of metrics for assessing the quality of experiential education services. The current study aims to develop a multi-item instrument for assessing the service quality of experiential education. The specific procedure is as follows. First, we generated a pool of possible metrics based on diverse literature on service quality. We elicited possiblemetric items not only from general service quality metrics such as SERVQUAL and SERVPERF but also from educational service quality metrics such as HEdPERF and PESPERF. Second, specialist teachers in the experiential education area screened the initial metrics to boost face validity. Third, we proceeded with multiple rounds of empirical validation of those metrics. Based on this processes, we refined the metrics to determine the final metrics to be used. Fourth, we examined predictive validity by checking the well-established positive relationship between each dimension of metrics and customer satisfaction. In sum, starting with the initial pool of scale items elicited from the previous literature and purifying them empirically through the surveying method, we developed a four-dimensional systemized scale to measure the superiority of experiential education and named it "Experiential Education PERFormance" (EEPERF). Our findings indicate that students (consumers) perceive the superiority of the experiential education (EE) service in the following four dimensions: EE-empathy, EE-reliability, EE-outcome, and EE-landscape. EE-empathy is a judgment in response to the question, "How empathetically does the experiential educational service provider interact with me?" Principal measures are "How well does the service provider understand my needs?," and "How well does the service provider listen to my voice?" Next, EE-reliability is a judgment in response to the question, "How reliably does the experiential educational service provider interact with me?" Major measures are "How reliable is the schedule here?," and "How credible is the service provider?" EE-outcome is a judgmentin response to the question, "What results could I get from this experiential educational service encounter?" Representative measures are "How good is the information that I will acquire form this service encounter?," and "How useful is this service encounter in helping me develop creativity?" Finally, EE-landscape is a judgment about the physical environment. Essential measures are "How convenient is the access to the service encounter?,"and "How well managed are the facilities?" We showed the reliability and validity of the system of metrics. All four dimensions influence customer satisfaction significantly. Practitioners may use the results in planning experiential educational service programs and evaluating each service encounter. The current study isexpected to act as a stepping-stone for future scale improvement. In this case, researchers may use the experience quality paradigm that has recently arisen.
The effects of the oriental herbal medicine Saenghyetang(SHT, 生慧湯), which consists of Rehmanniae Radix (熟地黃 九蒸: was made by 9th steam) 40g, Corni Fructus(山茱黃) 16g, Polygalae Radix(遠志) 8g, Zizyphi Spinosae Semen(酸棗仁) 2g, Biotae Semen(柏子仁 去油: oil ingredient was removed) 20g, Poria Cocos(茯笭) 12g, Ginseng Radix(人蔘) 12g, Acori Graminei Rhizoma(石菖蒲) 2g, Sinapis Semen(白芥子) 8g, on learning ability and memory were investigated. Hot water extract(HWE) and ethanol extract(EE) from SHT were used for the studies. Learning ability and memory are related to modifications of synaptic strength among neurons that interactive. Enhanced synaptic coincidence detection leads to improved learning ability and memory. If the NMDA receptor, a synaptic coincidence detector, acts as a graded switch for memory formations, enhanced signal detection by NMDA receptors should enhance learning ability and memory. It was shown that NR2B was increased in the forebrains of oriental medicine-administrated mice, leading to enhanced activation of NMDA receptors and facilitating synaptic potentiation in response to stimulation at 10-100 Hz. These HWE-SHT treated mice exhibited that superior ability in learning and memory when performing various behavioral tasks, showing that NR2B is enhanced by HWE-SHT treatment and also is critical in gating the age-dependent threshold for plasticity and memory formation. NMDA receptor-dependent modifications, which were mediated in part by HWE administration, of synaptic efficacy, therefore, represent a mechanism for associative learning ability and memory. Results suggest that oriental medical enhancement of NR2B contributes to increase intelligence and memory in mammals On the other hand, to examine the effects of EE-SHT on the learning ability and memory in experimental mice, EE-SHT was tested on passive and active avoidance responses. The EE-SHT ameliorated the memory retrieval deficit induced by ethanol in mice, but not other memory impairments. EE-SHT(10, 20mg/100 g, p.o.) did not affect the passive avoidance responses of normal mice in the step through and step down tests, the conditioned and unconditioned avoidance responses of normal mice in the shuttle box, lever press performance tests and the ambulatory activity of normal mice in a normal condition. However, EE-SHT at 20 mg/kg significantly decrease the spontaneous motor activity during the shuttle box test, and also to extend the sleeping time induced by pentobarbital in mice. These results suggest that SHT has an ameliorating effect on memory retrieval impairments and a weak tranquilizing action.
