We propose a new wavelet neural network structure, for which we apply new recurrent nodes to the network, in this paper for the dynamic system identification and control. We will construct the wavelet neural network by using wavelet frame function. The function does not have the best approximation property, but it may be possible to apply some modification to the structure of the network because the constriction of orthogonality is loosened a little. This wavelet neural network we propose can obtain previous state information by its structure of the network without any addition of input, though the conventional wavelet network needs additional previous state input for the improvement of the dynamic performance. In numerical experience, the performance of the new wavelet neural network we propose in the nonlinear system with uncertainity of parameter Is equal to that of the wavelet network which used the additional previous information input, superior to that of the conventional wavelet network.

This paper presents a new approach to the dynamic control technique for track vehicle system using neural network-fuzzy control method. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the neural network-fuzzy, and back propagation algorithm to train the fuzzy-neural network controller in the framework of the specialized learning architecture. It is propored a learning controller consisting of two neural network-fuzzy based on independent resoning and a connection net with fixed weights to simply the neural network-fuzzy. The performance of the proposed controller is shown by simulation for trajectory tracking of the speed and azimuth of a track vehicle

In recent years, many attempts have been made to predict the behavior of bonds, currencies, stock or other economic markets. Most previous experiments used the neural network models for the stock market forecasting. The KOSPI 200 (Korea Composite Stock Price Index 200) is modeled by using different neural networks and fuzzy logic. In this paper, the neural network, the dynamic polynomial neural network (DPNN) and the fuzzy logic employed for the prediction of the KOSPI 200. The prediction results are compared by the root mean squared error (RMSE) and scatter plot, respectively. The results show that the performance of the fuzzy system is little bit worse than that of the DPNN but better than that of the neural network. We can develop the desired fuzzy system by optimization methods.

This paper presents an optimization algorithm for a stable Self Dynamic Neural Network(SDNN) using genetic algorithm. Optimized SDNN is applied to a problem of controlling nonlinear dynamical systems. SDNN is dynamic mapping and is better suited for dynamical systems than static forward neural network. The real-time implementation is very important, and thus the neuro controller also needs to be designed such that it converges with a relatively small number of training cycles. SDW has considerably fewer weights than DNN. Since there is no interlink among the hidden layer. The object of proposed algorithm is that the number of self dynamic neuron node and the gradient of activation functions are simultaneously optimized by genetic algorithms. To guarantee convergence, an analytic method based on the Lyapunov function is used to find a stable learning for the SDNN. The ability and effectiveness of identifying and controlling a nonlinear dynamic system using the proposed optimized SDNN considering stability is demonstrated by case studies.
The conventional neural network models are a parody of biological neural structures, and have very slow learning. In order to emulate some dynamic functions, such as learning and adaption, and to better reflect the dynamics of biological neurons, M.M. Gupta and D.H. Rao have developed a 'dynamic neural model'(DNU). Proposed neural unit model is to introduce some dynamics to the neuron transfer function, such that the neuron activity depends on internal states. Integrating an dynamic elementry processor within the neuron allows the neuron to act dynamic response Numerical examples are presented for a model system. Those case studies showed that the proposed DNU is so useful in practical sense.

This paper analyzes on the chaos characteristics of the chaotic neural networks and presents the convergence condition. Although the transient chaos of neural network sould be beneficial to overcome the local minimum problem and speed up the learning, the permanent chaotic response gives adverse effect on optimization problems and makes neural network unstable in general. This paper investigates the dynamic characteristics of the chaotic neural networks with the chaotic dynamic neuron, and presents the convergence condition for stabilizing the chaotic neural networks.
This paper presents neural network based position estimation method in slippery environment as an approach to solve one of problems which are engaged in dead reckoning method. Position estimator is composed of slip detector and linear velocity estimator. Both of them are based on the fact that dynamic characteristic of mobile robot in slippery environment is different from the case without slip. To find out the dynamic relation among driving torque, angular acceleration of driving wheel and linear acceleration of mobile robot, accelerometer is used for measuring acceleration of mobile robot and neural network is used for dynamic system identifier in slippery environment.
Neural network control has many innovative potentials for intelligent adaptive control. Among many, it promises real time adaption, robustness, fault tolerance, and self-learning which can be achieved with little or no system models. In this paper, a dynamic robot controller has been developed based on a backpropagation neural network. It gradually learns the robot's dynamic properties through repetitive movements being initially trained with a PD controller. Its control performance has been tested on a simulated PUMA 560 demonstrating fast learning and convergence.
A Neural network is possible to nonlinear function mapping and parallel processing. Therefore It has been developing for a Diagnosis system of nuclear plower plant. In general Neural Networks is a static mapping but Dynamic Neural Network(DNN) is dynamic mapping. When a fault occur in system, a state of system is changed with transient state. Because of a previous state signal is considered as a information. DNN is better suited for diagnosis systems than static neural network. But a DNN has many weights, so a real time implementation of diagnosis system is in need of a rapid network architecture. This paper presents a algorithm for RCP monitoring Alarm diagnosis system using Self Dynamic Neural Network(SDNN). SDNN has considerably fewer weights than a general DNN. Since there is no interlink among the hidden layer. The effectiveness of Alarm diagnosis system using the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by applying to RCP monitoring in Nuclear power plant.

This paper presents a new approach to the design of neural control system using digital signal processors in order to improve the precision and robustness. Robotic manipulators have become increasingly important in the field of flexible automation. High speed and high-precision trajectory tracking are indispensable capabilities for their versatile application. The need to meet demanding control requirement in increasingly complex dynamical control systems under significant uncertainties, leads toward design of intelligent manipulation robots. The TMS320C31 is used in implementing real time neural control to provide an enhanced motion control for robotic manipulators. In this control scheme, the networks introduced are neural nets with dynamic neurons, whose dynamics are distributed over all the network nodes. The nets are trained by the distributed dynamic back propagation algorithm. The proposed neural network control scheme is simple in structure, fast in computation, and suitable for implementation of real-time control. Performance of the neural controller is illustrated by simulation and experimental results for a SCARA robot.
