란탄족원소-ALC 착물의 전기화학적 연구 (Electrochemical study on the Lanthanide-Alizarin Complexone Complexes)

  • 란탄족이온($Gd^{3+},$ $Tb^{3+},$ $Dy^{3+},$ $Ho^{3+},$ $Er^{3+},$ $Yb^{3+}$$Lu^{3+}$)과 alizarin complexone(ALC) 사이에 생성한 착물의 전기화학적 거동을 직류폴라로그래피, 펄스차이폴라로그래피 및 순환전압전류법으로 연구하였다. 0.1M $HOA_C-NaOA_C$ 지지전해질 용액에서, 착화제인 ALC는 2전자 1단계의 1:1의 착물을 형성하였으며 이 착물의 환원파는 펄스차이폴라로그래피 및 순환전압전류법으로 흡착성 착물파임을 확인하였다. 착물파의 환원전위는 ALC의 환원파보다 음전위에서 나타났으며 란탄족이온의 농도의 증가에 따른 ALC의 봉우리전류(PI)의 감소와 착물의 봉우리전류($P_2$)의 증가는 란탄족이온의 농도 $2.5X10^5$~$1.0X10^4M$ 범위에서 직선적으로 변화하였다.

  • 2-hydroxy-3-hydroxymethy1-5-methylbenzaldehyde(HHMMB)와 ethylenediamine 혹은 1,3-dia-minopropane의 축합반응에 의해 6-배위 칸막이 리간드, $H_4L[A]$$H_4L[B]$를 각각 얻은 후에 거대비고리 리간드 착물, $Cu(H_2L[A]).H_2O$, $Cu(H_2L[B]).H_2O$, CuFe(L[A]($NO_3$).$4H_2O$, CuFe(L[B])($NO_3$).$4H_2O$, [$CuGd(H_2L[A])(NO_3)_2](NO_3).2CH_3OH$, [CuGd($H_2L$[B])($NO_3)_2$]($NO_3).2CH_3OH를 합성하였다. 2,6-diformyl-p-clesol (DFPC)로부터 합성한 Ln-거대고리([20]DOTA)착물,[Ln([20]DOTA)($NO_3)(H_2O)$]($NO_3$)2.$xH_2O${Ln(III)=Pr, Sm, Gd, Dy를 methanol 용매에 2일 정도 정치함으로써 [Ln([20]DOTA)($NO3$)($CH_3OH)]^{2+}$을 얻을 수 있다. 이 lanthanide-[20]DOTA착물에서 배위된 $CH_3OH$이 주게원자가 N 혹은 O인 두자리 보조리간드, $L_a$(=o-phenylenediamine,1,10-phenanthroline, ethylenediamine,oxalic acid, malonic acid, acethyl-acetone에 의해 치환될 때 평형상수(K)를 $25^{\circ}C\;{\mu}=0.1M\;NaClO_4$ 에서 분광학적 방법으로 결정하였다. 보조리간드의 $pK_a$는 o-Phenylenediamine < 1,10-ptlenanthroline < ehylenediamine,oxalic acid < malonic acid < acethylacetone이며, 이때 평형상수, K는 ethylenediamine < 1,10-phenanthroline < o-phenylenediamine,acethylacetone < malonic acid < oxalic acid 경향으로 변하였다.

  • 한국재래간장으로 부터 분리한 Bacilius subtilis CCKS-111이 생성하는 proteae를 분리 정제하였다. 황산암모늄 염석, DEAE cellulose ion-exchange chromatography, Sephades G-100 및 HPLC를 이용한 겔여과법에 의해 비활성도 24.3 unit/mg, 정제배수 50.6배로 효소를 정제하였으며 high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)에 의하여 단일 단백질임을 확인하였다 정제효소의 분자량은 HPLC에 의하여 분자량 28,000 정도의 monomer로 추정되었고, 본 효소의 아미노산 잔기수는 251.3으로, 분해되기 쉬운 threonine, serine, glycine을 제외한 아미노산 잔기수는 Bacillus subtilis subtilisin DY 잔기수(274)와 유사한 것으로 나타났다. 아미노산 조성은 alanine, serine, glycine 및 arginine의 함량이 많았다. Reverse phase (RP)-HPLC로 분리한 주 peak로 N-말단에서 32번 까지 아미노산 배열을 확인한 결과 Bacillus subtilis subtilisin DY와 동일하였다.

The Magnetic and Magnetostrictive Properties of Melt-Spun Ribbons of B Containing Terfenol-D Alloys

  • The magnetic and magnetostrictive properties of melt-spun ribbons of the alloys (R0.33Fe0.67)1-xBx (R=Tb0.3Dy0.7 and 0$\leq$x$\leq$0.06) are ivestigated as a function of wheel speed during melt-quenching. The saturation magnetiation of the alloys with a crystalline phase ranges from 70 to 80 emu/g and does not vary substantially with the B content. The saturation magnetization of an amorphous phase, which is formed at the condition of thigh wheel speed and high B content, is reduced significantly, however. The coercive force is minimum at x= 0.02 and increases monotonously with the further increase of B content when the microstructure mainly consists of a crystalline phase, but again it is reduced significantly by the formation of an amorphous phase. The low field sensitivity of magnetostriction with magnetic field is found to be good for the alloys with x$\leq$0.04 over a wide range of wheel speed. This magnetostrictive behavior is in contrast with that observed previously for Dy-Fe and Tb-Fe based alloys and is thought to be due to low intrinsic magnetocrystalline anisotropy of the compound.

Mutual Information Analysis for Three-Phase Dynamic Current Mode Logic against Side-Channel Attack

  • To date, many different kinds of logic styles for hardware countermeasures have been developed; for example, SABL, TDPL, and DyCML. Current mode-based logic styles are useful as they consume less power compared to voltage mode-based logic styles such as SABL and TDPL. Although we developed TPDyCML in 2012 and presented it at the WISA 2012 conference, we have further optimized it in this paper using a binary decision diagram algorithm and confirmed its properties through a practical implementation of the AES S-box. In this paper, we will explain the outcome of HSPICE simulations, which included correlation power attacks, on AES S-boxes configured using a compact NMOS tree constructed from either SABL, CMOS, TDPL, DyCML, or TPDyCML. In addition, to compare the performance of each logic style in greater detail, we will carry out a mutual information analysis (MIA). Our results confirm that our logic style has good properties as a hardware countermeasure and 15% less information leakage than those secure logic styles used in our MIA.

Varistor Properties and Aging Behavior of ZnO-V2O5-MnO2-Co3O4-La2O3 Ceramics Modified with Various Additives (Cr, Nb, Dy, Bi)

  • The effects of additives (Cr, Nb, Dy, and Bi) on microstructure, electrical properties, dielectric characteristics, and aging behavior of $ZnO-V_2O_5-MnO_2-Co_3O_4-La_2O_3$ (ZVMCL) ceramics were systematically investigated. The phase formed in common for all ZVMCL ceramics modified with various additives consisted of ZnO grain as a main phase, and $Zn_3(VO_4)_2$ and $ZnV_2O_4$ as the secondary phases. The sintered density and average grain size were in the range of $5.4-5.54g/cm^3$ and $3.7-5.1{\mu}m$, respectively. The ZVMCL ceramics modified with Cr exhibited the highest breakdown field (6,386 V/cm) and the ZVMCL ceramics modified with Nb exhibited the lowest breakdown field (3,517 V/cm). All additives enhanced the nonlinear coefficient (${\alpha}$), by a small or large margin, in particular, additives such as Bi and Nb noticeably increased the nonlinear coefficient, with ${\alpha}=25.5$ and ${\alpha}=23$, respectively. However, on the whole, all additives did not improve the stability against a DC stress, compared with ZVMCL ceramics.

Effects of Dysprosium and Thulium addition on microstructure and electric properties of co-doped $BaTiO_3$ for MLCCs

  • The effect of additives as rare-earth in dielectric materials has been studied to meet the development trend in electronics on the miniaturization with increasing the capacitance of MLCCs (multi-layered ceramic capacitors). It was reported that the addition of rare-earth oxides in dielectrics would contribute to enhance dielectric properties and high temperature stability. Especially, dysprosium and thulium are well known to the representative elements functioned as selective substitution in barium titanate with perovskite structure. The effects of these additives on microstructure and electric properties were studied. The 0.8 mol% Dy doped $BaTiO_3$ and the 1.0 mol% Tm doped $BaTiO_3$ had the highest electric properties as optimized composition, respectively. According to the increase of rare-earth contents, the growth of abnormal grains was suppressed and pyrochlore phase was formed in more than solubility limits. Furthermore, the effect of two rare-earth elements co-doped $BaTiO_3$ on the dielectric properties and insulation resistance was investigated with different concentration. The dielectric specimens with $BaTiO_3-Dy_2O_3-Tm2O_3$ system were prepared by design of experiment for improving the electric properties and sintered at $1320^{\circ}C$ for 2h in a reducing atmosphere. The dielectric properties were evaluated from -55 to $125^{\circ}C$ (at $1KHz{\pm}10%$ and $1.0{\pm}0.2V$) and the insulation resistance was examined at 16V for 2 min. The morphology and crystallinity of the specimens were determined by microstructural and phase analysis.

  • In this paper, we obtain the general solution and the stability of the cubic functional equation f(2x + y, 2z + w) + f(2x - y, 2z - w) = 2f(x + y, z + w) + 2f(x - y, z - w) + 12f(x, z). The cubic form $f(x,\;y)\;=\;ax^3\;+\;bx^2y\;+\;cxy^2\;+\;dy^3$ is a solution of the above functional equation.

國産無煙炭의 燃燒反應機構에 關한 硏究 (A Study on Combustion Reaction Mechanism of Korean Anthracites)

  • DTA에 衣한 國産無煙炭의 燃燒反應過程을 速度論的으로 解析할 수 있는 아래의 關係式을 導出하였다. $K=\frac{C_3{\cdot}W_0}{{\Delta}H{\cdot}{\Delta}C{\cdot}M{\cdot}S_A}(\frac{dy}{dt}+A(y-y_3))$ 이 式을 利用하여 各炭種에 對한 活性化 energy값을 求한 結果 非黑鉛性炭種은 40Kcal/mole, 黑鉛性炭種은 45Kcal/mole로서 炭化度가 增加되면 活性化 energy값이 增加된다는 것을 알았다. 無煙炭을 空氣中에서 燃燒시킬때 溫度에 衣하여 d_{(002)}$ X-線回折强度가 점차적으로 커지는 現象으로부터 無煙産中의 一部가 層構造(黑鉛化)로 變化됨을 알았으며 이 變化된 層構造에 生成된 $CO_2$의 一部가 接觸分解되어 다시 CO로 환원됨을 알았다. 그리고 無煙炭의 反應性을 左右하는 活性基의 種類는 -OH, -SH, -NH, -$CH_2-CH_3,$ 및 -CO, -COC-, -COOH가 存在하며 IR 로서 炭化度를 測定할 수 있었다

The distribution characteristics of trace elements of fine ambient particulate in Korea

  • 기기 중성자방사화분석법을 이용하여 대전시 도로변 대기분진(PM2.5)을 대상으로 As, Mn, Se, V, Zn 등의 독성금속을 포함하여 약 30여종의 미량성분을 분석하였다. 도로변 PM 2.5내 미량성분들의 농도는 자연적 발생원에 기인한 원소가 높게 나타났으며, 특히 K과 Fe이 671과 $653ng/m^3$으로 높은 농도를 보였다. 반면, Lu과 Dy는 0.01과 $0.04ng/m^3$으로 가장 낮은 농도를 보여 최대농도와 최소농도 간에는 $10^5$ 이상으로 차이가 벌어져 있음을 알 수 있었다. PM2.5와 미량성분간의 상관분석 결과, 도로변 지역에서 발생되는 PM2.5는 토양기원의 미량성분과 더 큰 상관을 보였다. 인자분석결과, 연구대상지역의 오염원은 재비산된 토양입자, 화석연료의 연소, 자동차 배기가스, 삼원촉매장치, 해염입자, 재련공장 등으로 확인되었다. 그리고 부화계수분석의 결과는 인자분석으로부터 발견된 사실과 부합함을 알 수 있었다.
