  • System Packet Interface Level 4 Phase 2(SPI-4.2) is an interface for packet and cell transfer between a physical layer(PHY) device and a link layer device, for aggregate bandwidths of OC-192 ATM and Packet Over Sonet/SDH(POS), as well as 10Gbps Ethernet applications. SPI-4.2 core consists of Tx and Rx modules and supports full duplex communication. Tx module of SPI-4.2 core writes 64-bit data word and 14-bit header information from the user interface into asynchronous FIFO and transmits DDR(Double Data Rate) data over PL4 interface. Rx module of SPI-4.2 core operates in vice versa. Tx and Rx modules of SPI-4.2 core are designed to support maximum 256-channel and control the bandwidth allocation by configuring the calendar memory. Automatic DIP4 and DIP-2 parity generation and checking are implemented within the designed core. The designed core uses Xilinx ISE 5.li tool and is described in VHDL Language and is simulated by Model_SIM 5.6a. The designed core operates at 720Mbps data rate per line, which provides an aggregate bandwidth of 11.52Gbps. SPI-4.2 interface core is suited for line cards in gigabit/terabit routers, and optical cross-connect switches, and SONET/SDH-based transmission systems.

  • The purpose of the study was to decide Korean translation and the copying period of "Korean Translation of " and to look all around their characteristics in different versions carefully until now. The "Korean Translation" is a collection of Korean-translated romance and love stories excavated by a professor Kim,Il Geun, and there is not a little meaning in the context of novel history in the point of view of 'Korean translation of a court possession'. Arranging conclusion of the study generally, it is as follows. (1) Considering phonological phenomena, grammar and vocabulary in the study of Korean language, it is presumed that they would be translated into Korean and copied between the regime period of the King Sukjong and the regime period of the King Yungjo in the Joseon Dynasty. For, they were composed of a middle declaration of copied 'Myeoknambon "Korean Translation of Taepyeonggwanggi(태평광기)"' and 'NakseonJaebon(낙선재본)' between the middle of the 17th century and the middle of the 18th century and the regime period of the King Jeongjo in the Joseon Dynasty appointed as the background period of the novels should be excepted. Consequently, through the Korean Translation, we can confirm that the novel scope between the 17th century and the 18th century in Korean novel history was widened until 'The Royal Court' and 'Women'. (2) In the side of vocabulary, the "Korean Translation" also has not a little meaning in the side of a collection translated in the Royal Court. It doesn't have new vocabularies, but partial vocabularies as '(Traces:痕)' '(Clean eyes:明眸)', ' (Sail:帆)', '(Get up:起)', '글이플(Weak grass:弱草)', '쇼록(Owl:? 梟 or 鴉?)', '이 사라심(This life:此生)', and '노혀오매(Look for:訪)' are good data in the study of Korean language. (3) The "Korean Translation" is a valuable data about translation and copying of a court novel and we can discover intentionally changed parts and partially omitted sentences rather in the than in the . There are differences between a translation book and a copying book and we can catch sight of intention of translation and unsettledness of copying in the second work. Therefore, we can know that the "Korean Translation" has a double context which one work is translated and a work in different version is derived, compared to a simple copy. (4) The "Korean Translation" has a close relation with "Hangoldong(閒汨董)", but it doesn't regard the same copy as a foundation. The basic copy of translation of the "Korean Translation" is a different version of the same line as "Hangoldong" and "Jeochobon(저초본:정명기 소장본)" and is more similar line to "Hangoldong", but it is also not the same basic copy. (5) Considering that the "Korean Translation" doesn't has a distinct relation with the "Hangoldong", there is no correlation between the "Korean Translation" and and the "Hangoldong" and . In addition, we could not discover a writer's identity between the two.

  • In this study, the expressions of magnetic vector and magnetic gradient tensor due to an elliptical cylinder were derived. Igneous intrusions and kimberlite structures are often shaped like elliptical cylinders with axial symmetry and different radii in the strike and perpendicular directions. The expressions of magnetic fields due to this elliptical cylinder were derived from the Poisson relation, which includes the direction of magnetization in the gravity gradient tensor. The magnetic gradient tensor due to an elliptical cylinder is derived by differentiating the magnetic fields. This method involves obtaining a total of 10 triple derivative functions acquired by differentiating the gravitational potential of the elliptical cylinder three times in each axis direction. As the order of differentiation and integration can be exchanged, the magnetic gradient tensor was derived by differentiating the gravitational potential of the elliptical cylinder three times in each direction, followed by integration in the depth direction. The remaining double integration was converted to a complex line integral along the closed boundary curve of the elliptical cylinder in the complex plane. The expressions of the magnetic field and magnetic gradient tensor derived from the complex line integral in the complex plane were shown to be perfectly consistent with those of the circular cylinder derived by the Lipschitz-Hankel integral.

  • In this paper, Double rectangular patch with 4-bridges is investigated for solution of IEEE 802.11b/g(2.4GHz) and 802.11a(5.7GHz). Rectangular patch for 5.7GHz frequency band is printed on the PCB substrate and connected to another rectangular patch for 2.4GHz frequency band with 4-bridges to obtain dual band operation in a antenna element. The proposed antenna has a low profile and is fed by $50{\Omega}$ coaxial line. The dielectric constant of the designed antenna substrate is 3.27. Two rectangular patches have each resonance frequencies that are 2.4GHz and 5.7GHz. A dual-band characteristic is shown as connecting two rectangular patch using four bridges. Also, the proposed antenna is shown input return loss that is below -10dB at 2.4GHz and 5.7GHz of WLAN(Wireless LAN).

  • This study examines the approach of introduction of the real numbers through the infinite decimal, which is suggested by Lee Ji-Hyun(2014; 2015) in the aspect of the overcoming the double discontinuity, and analyses Li(2011), which is the mathematical background of the foregoing Lee's. Also, this study compares these construction methods given by Lee and Li with the traditional method using the nested intervals. As a result of analysis, this study shows that Lee Ji-Hyun(2014; 2015) and Li(2011) face the risk of the circulation logic in making the infinite decimal corresponding each point on the geometrical line, and need the steps not using the 'limit to a real number' in order to compensate the mathematical and educational defect. Accordingly, this study raises the opinion that the traditional method of defining the infinite decimal as a sequence by using the geometrical nested intervals axiom would be a appropriate supplementation.

  • Most large-sized and tall-risen general hospitals of today fairly depend on in-patient wards in designing hospital styles. The core planning for the efficient movements of various people in the words should take into account the sustainable connections between/among the floors, as well as hospital structures and mechanical functions. This study sampled for the study 19 hospital in-patient wards and investigated their flat-core styles. It was found out that hospital structures are changing from symmetrical styles of triangles, quadrangles and rectangles through bending, configuring, transforming to efficient new styles. Symmetrically quadrangled flat-styles are made of multi-cores spread with main an sub-cores. In contrast, symmetrically triangled flat-styles place the open place in the middle in order to prevent from its deepening, and widened the depth line through changing the outdoor top point. Non-symmetrical rectangles minimized the depth value to maintain the recent styles used in the wards, and tended to prefer the transformed styles of quadrangles. The double-corridors easily transshaped from mono corridors reveals the triangled, W-shaped, or Y-shaped figures. The site area ratio of the cores is 11.95% in average. The number of beds which one elevator covers is 66.51 beds in average, and the size of site area which one elevator covers 216.68m. Most cores on the base floor clustered around the average value, with more than 1000 beds shoes 12.83%, does 12.93%, does 14.64%, does 14.58%, which says that the core ratio increases according to hospital beds.

  • This study focused on the plane and side drape coefficients of weft knitted fabrics as a function of knit structure, stitch density, and stiffness. Fifteen weft knitted fabrics are produced with five different structures (interlock, single pique, royal interlock, cross miss interlock, and mock royal interlock) and three different gauges (7G, 10G, and 12G). Five knit structures were the application of knit, tuck, and miss stitch on the basis of interlock of the double knit fabric For this purpose, three-dimensional shapes of the draped sample were obtained by using a drapability tester which can record the contour line coordinates of a projected plane drape. Then, projected shapes of the plane and side drape were derived from those three-dimensional ones to review the relationship between plane drape coefficients and side ones. It was found that the theoretical values of plane and side drape coefficients depending on the change of deflection angles fit to their experimental ones. A5 a result of a regression analysis of the relationship between plane and side drape coefficients, the relationship could be expressed as $y=0.5838x-0.0065x^2+9.03{\times}10^{-5}x^3$. In case of mean of drape coefficient, it was increased according to the rule of that the more tuck and miss stitch overlap. A high degree of correlation was found between stiffness and drape coefficient. The regression equation of drape coefficient($y$) can be represented by $y=y=\sqrt[3]{Stiffness}-10.72$.

  • We proposed several systems for 1Giga bit Modem. The first, Binary ASK(Amplitude Shift Keying) system has a high speed shutter transmitter and no IF(Intermediate Frequency) receiver only by symbol synchronization. The advantage of proposed system is that circuitry is very simple without IF process. The disadvantage of proposed system are that line spectrum occurs interference to other channels, and enhancement to 4-level system is impossible due to its large SNR degradation. The second, Binary phase modulation system has a high speed shutter transmitter and IF-VCO(IF-Voltage Controlled Oscillator) control by base-band phase rotation. Polarity of shutter window is changed by the binary data. The window should be narrow same as above ASK. The advantage of proposed system is which error rate performance is superior. The disadvantage of proposed system are that Circuitry is more complex, narrow pull-in range of receiver caused by VCO and spectrum divergence by the non-linear amplifier. The third, 4-QAM(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation)system has a nyquist pulse transmitter and IF-VCO control by symbol clock. The advantage of proposed system are that signal frequency band is a half of 1GHz, reliable pull-in of VCO and possibility of double speed transmission(2Gbps) by keeping 1GHz frequency-band. The disadvantage of proposed system are that circuit complexity of pulse shaping and spectrum divergence by the non-linear amplifier.

  • A two-facet approach was used to investigate the parametric performance of functional high-speed DDR3 (Double Data Rate) DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) die placed in different types of BGA (Ball Grid Array) packages: wire-bonded BGA (FBGA, Fine Ball Grid Array), flip-chip (FCBGA) and lead-bonded $microBGA^{(R)}$. In the first section, packaged live DDR3 die were tested using automatic test equipment using high-resolution shmoo plots. It was found that the best timing and voltage margin was obtained using the lead-bonded microBGA, followed by the wire-bonded FBGA with the FCBGA exhibiting the worst performance of the three types tested. In particular the flip-chip packaged devices exhibited reduced operating voltage margin. In the second part of this work a test system was designed and constructed to mimic the electrical environment of the data bus in a PC's CPU-Memory subsystem that used a single DIMM (Dual In Line Memory Module) socket in point-to-point and point-to-two-point configurations. The emulation system was used to examine signal integrity for system-level operation at speeds in excess of 6 Gb/pin/sec in order to assess the frequency extensibility of the signal-carrying path of the microBGA considered for future high-speed DRAM packaging. The analyzed signal path was driven from either end of the data bus by a GaAs laser driver capable of operation beyond 10 GHz. Eye diagrams were measured using a high speed sampling oscilloscope with a pulse generator providing a pseudo-random bit sequence stimulus for the laser drivers. The memory controller was emulated using a circuit implemented on a BGA interposer employing the laser driver while the active DRAM was modeled using the same type of laser driver mounted to the DIMM module. A custom silicon loading die was designed and fabricated and placed into the microBGA packages that were attached to an instrumented DIMM module. It was found that 6.6 Gb/sec/pin operation appears feasible in both point to point and point to two point configurations when the input capacitance is limited to 2pF.

  • The present paper describes the two off-surface visualization techniques and their application examples to vortex flows. One of the two visualization techniques is the classical smoke-wire technique, and the other is the visualization technique using the micro water-droplets generated by the home-style ultrasonic humidifier. The smoke-wire technique has the limit of air flow speed (about 5 m/sec for 0.07 mm-diameter wire) and the pollution problem, but it produces very fine and clear streak line sheet. It is applied to visualize the wing-tip vortices of a 3-dimensional wing. The micro water-droplet technique has the larger limit of air flow speed (above 10 m/sec) and is free from pollution and toxic problems compared to the smoke-wire technique. It is successfully applied to visualize the complex vortex system of a double-delta wing with an apex strake.
