  • In this paper, we develop the reference priors for the common location parameter in two parameter exponential distributions. We derive the reference priors and prove the propriety of joint posterior distribution under the general prior including the reference priors. Through the simulation study, we show that the proposed reference prior matches the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense.

  • A sequential procedure is proposed in order to construct one-sided confidence intervals for a normal mean with guaranteed coverage probability and ${\beta}-protection$ when the normal mean and variance are identical. First-order asymptotic properties on the sequential sample size are found. The derived results hold with uniformity in the total parameter space or its subsets.

  • This paper presents estimations of the generalized Rayleigh distribution model based on grouped and censored data. The maximum likelihood method is used to derive point and asymptotic confidence estimates of the unknown parameters. The results obtained in this paper generalize some of those available in the literature. Finally, we test whether the current model fits a set of real data better than other models.

  • In this paper, we study GCR-lightlike submanifolds of indefinite Sasakian manifold. We give some necessary and sufficient conditions on integrability of various distributions of GCR-lightlike submanifold of an indefinite Sasakian manifold. We also find the conditions for each leaf of holomorphic distribution and radical distribution is totally geodesic.

  • We shall propose ML, ordinary jackknife and biased reducing estimators of the parameter in the right truncated exponential distribution with an unidentified uniform outlier when the truncated point is unknown and their biases and MSE's are compared numerically each other in the small sample sizes.

  • Based on the static and dynamic adsorption of Streamline DEAE, a modified tank-in-series model including particle size distribution was used to describe the adsorption performance of bovine serum albumin in an expanded bed. The calculated results indicated that the suggested model was able to simulate breakthrough curves under various conditions.

  • Throughout this paper, the definitions and properities related to probabilistic normed spaces are followed as in [2]. Let R be the set of all real numbers. A mapping F:R .rarw. [0, 1] is called a distribution function on R if it is nondecreasing and left continuous with inf F = 0 and sup F = 1. We denote by L the set of all distribution functions on R.

  • In order to check the electric field distribution of polymer line post insulator, we performed electric field simulation according to state of water drops. Sea water is used to the contaminant. Electric field analysis is performed with change of contact angle, number and distance of water drops.

  • Fault section detection and service restoration is very important in ungrounded distribution system. Techniques currently used to track down faults are time consuming and cumbersome. A new scheme is developed based on communication technology, and the simulation result shows that the method can satisfy the requirement proposed.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of semi-slant lightlike submanifolds of indefinite Sasakian manifolds giving characterization theorem with some non-trivial examples of such submanifolds. Integrability conditions of distributions $D_1$, $D_2$ and RadTM on semi-slant lightlike submanifolds of an indefinite Sasakian manifold have been obtained. We also obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for foliations determined by above distributions to be totally geodesic.
