Purpose: Recent advances in computer and mobile technologies have brought increasing usages of IT technology in nursing research across nursing fields. Despite the increasing usages, there has been little discussion on methodological issues involved in nursing research using IT technology. This is a discussion paper to identify methodological issues in IT technology-based nursing research. Methods: An analysis was done using content analysis on research team meeting minutes and research team members' research diaries in a clinical trial that tested the efficacy of a technology-based intervention. First, several major categories of IT technology-based nursing research are concisely summarized. Then, the method that was used for this analysis is presented. Results: The findings are presented as themes reflecting methodological issues in IT technology-based research: (a) difficulties in recruitment due to necessary technology literacy; (b) facilitating recruitment through allowing the use of multiple languages; (c) participants' preferences for specific IT technology; (d) efforts needed to ensure technological security; (e) participants' preferences for design; and (f) necessary considerations on timing. Conclusion: Finally, future directions for nursing research using IT technology are proposed based on the identified issues.

Purpose: To examine the degree of recognition regarding the concept of patient safety, as perceived by the patient, using a focus group discussion. Methods: A focus group discussion was conducted with a patient group comprising seven patients. Results: When the participants heard the term "patient safety" they seemed to understand it to be related to the hospital environment or satisfaction with the overall hospitalization experience. The participants emphasized communication between the medical staff and the patients in relation to the explanation of treatments, as well as the provision of information regarding prevention, experience, and the treatment of incidents with patient safety. They agreed on the need for indicators reported by patients. However, they emphasized that additional items and a questionnaire method that considers the patients' point of view are needed. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish and implement various strategies that can raise the awareness of patient safety using patient safety indicators and increase participation in patient safety activities.

본 논문에서는 ICT를 활용한 교수 학습에서 효과적으로 이용될 수 있는 평가 모형과 평가 방법들을 연구하였다. ICT를 활용한 교수 학습의 유형에는 정보 탐색하기, 정보분석하기, 정보 안내하기, 협력 연구하기, 전문가와 교류하기, 웹 토론하기, 웹 펜팔하기, 정보 만들기 등의 8가지 유형이 있는데 그 중 가장 많이 활용되고 있는 정보 탐색하기와 정보 분석하기 유형에 대한 평가 모형과 평가 방법을 제시하였다. 현재 ICT활용 수업에서 평가 모형과 방법에 대한 선행연구가 없기 때문에 본 논문에서 제시한 평가 방안은 ICT활용 교수학습의 효과를 높이는데 기여할 것이다.

Purpose : To determine the change of effects of nursing ethics education on the nurses' ethical decision making with the time relapse of one month, three months and six months. Method : Thirteen participated in free discussion group, and fourteen participated in expert-guided discussion group for five weeks. Two weeks before the education, DIT and JAND were assessed, and JAND was assessed again on month, three months and six months after the five weeks' education program. Results : 1) Average realistic scores of JAND did not showed significant differences as times went by. However, scores were highest at three months after the education in general. 2) In both of free discussion and expert-guided discussion group, JAND score increased after the education, and highest at three months in general. 3) Low level moral development group showed highest scores at one month after the education, and declined at three month. However, in middle and high level of moral development groups, scores were higher at three months than at one month after the education. Scores were declined again at six months after the education. Conclusion : Effects of moral education program were highest at three months after the education, and were lessened as times went by. Especially for the low moral development group, effect was not continued more than one month. Therefore, more persistent, periodic education program was required until the ability of ethical decision making is settled down.

본 연구에서는 10명의 화학교육 석사과정 과학교사들을 대상으로 빛 단원 지도에 대한 어려움, 교사의 학습 경험, 교사의 지도 방식, 교사의 사고 유형에 대해 면담을 하였다. 그 후 귀추적 사고를 위한 토론 수업을 12시간 동안 실시하였다. 토론수업에 참여한 교사들 중에서 4명으로부터 개별 면담 자료와 보고서를 받았다. 연구 결과, 토론 수업 전에 대부분의 교사들은 빛 단원을 지도할 때 어려움을 겪은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 대부분 작도법을 사용하여 지도하려고 노력하였으나, 교육적 효과는 거의 없었다. 그리고 자신이 가르치는 방식은 자신이 학생이었을 때 배웠던 방식과 유사하였다. 토론 수업 중 교사들은 자신이 빛의 경로를 직접 관찰할 수 없으며, 상을 통해 빛의 경로를 추론해야 한다는 사실을 깨닫게 되었다. 빛 단원에 대한 귀추적 사고 과정을 거쳐 교사들은 상의 의미를 깨닫고, 학생들을 지도하는 구체적인 방안을 획득하였다.

Ever since Gauss discussed the least-squares method in 1812 and Bertrand translated Gauss's work in French, the least-squares method has been used for various economic analysis. The justification of the least-squares method was given by Markov in 1912 in connection with the previous discussion by Gauss and Bertrand. The main argument concerned the problem of obtaining the best linear unbiased estimates. In some modern language, the argument can be explained as follow.

The Accumulation Analysis is a main method of Taguchi's data analysis strategy. However, Many statistician(specially Hamada, Wu and Nair etc.,) pointed that this method is too much complicated while not being useful. In this article, We demonstrate the method of this Accumulation Analysis by examples and introduce the argument points and the alternative solutions discussed among many statisticians.

This study suggested a teaching method to improve intuitive understanding of the statistical basic concepts about the central limit theorem with experiment. It is very hard to understand about the concept of the central limit theorem in the school mathematics class. The result of this study experiment for the class of statistics education shows that the students and mathematics teachers were interesting at this experiment. They corrected their misunderstanding about the central limit theorem by discussion for the result of experiment with team members. I think that this study can help teachers to teach the students using the experiment method.

Koreans who put a high value on confucian ethics traditionally have considered sex problems as taboo. Being faced with western liberal and hedonic culture that comes with waves of industrialization our younger generation who has grown in cultural backgrounds of confucianism has had mental confusion. Due to higher standards of living physical growth has quickened but mental growth has not reached there instead. Because of lureand trouble which come from this problem related with sex this is considered as a social problem. In this research through judgement which the most effective way that can solve adolescence sex problems is systematic sex education teaching method for desirable sex education is presented asfollowing First some supplement and desirable direction of sex education were proposed through the analysis of eight currently using home economics texbooks. A lesson plan was proposed using CAI program which was developed by authors with assistance of professional computer programmers. The CAI program includes following curriculum contents: 1concepts of sex This study ultimately aimed to let students develop desirable attitude and perspective on value regarding adolescence and sex, For this goal of research another lesson plan was proposed fostering classroom group discussion.
