The purpose of this study is to suggest the analysis of disaster conflict and strategies of Conflict Management based on Case of Hebei Spirit Oil Spill Accident. For accomplishing the purpose, we analyzed process and features of conflict in area of Taean after disaster. When we overview literature study about conflict research of korea society, we know that we have no studying disaster conflict in spite of important cause of regional society conflict. Recently, we have been experienced major disaster every year. When disaster such as Case of Hebei Spirit Oil Spill Accident occurred, it is accompanied with a conflict in disaster area. So, we argue that it is important to analyzed disaster conflict and propose strategies of Conflict Management.

Purpose: By analyzing how the Mali conflict has progressed over the past decade, the activities of terrorist groups in the Sahel are predicted, and their movements will have implications. Method: In addition to existing study, progress is identified through the media. Result: The Mali conflict has been sustained by the spread of ethnic conflict, Islamic extremism, and military coups. Conclusion: The influence of the international community is being weakened with the withdrawal of France and the intervention of Russia. This indicates that the Mali conflict could be prolonged.

Photography is frequently associated with the death because it seems to remind us of our own mortality by representing the dead people. The indexical character of photography reinforces this association. Photography is used in many ceremonial activities and medias to represent death. Five types of death photography can be differentiated: funeral portrait, post-mortem photography, conflict and disaster photography, death penalty photography, anatomic and forensic photography. These death photographies serve for four individual and social purposes: mourning and remembrance, resistance and struggle, rule and domination, disclosure and accusation.

The downing of the MH17 reminds the world that the international civil aviation is not as safety and security as people expected. Such tragedy is partly due to the risk and danger of the armed conflict zones, but is more attributed to the ignorance to the international law by the responsible parties concerned. International laws applicable to the armed conflict zones shall be strictly followed, and the reparation shall be provided to the victims, otherwise such disaster could not be avoided in the future.

As social diversity is increased recently, conflict between government and non-government organizations is also being increased. This conflict disturbs social development and also social cost to solve the conflict is very high. Therefore, it is necessary to set up a mediation organization which can draw reasonable decision making while minimizing social conflict. In this study, we compares Samangeum reclamation project and Youngweol dam case to find out how their recognition framings are formed, confronted, or adjusted and also how the process affects their conflict.

We reviewed the scientific literature on psychological effects of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive (CBRNE) disaster, which is one of the biggest threat to modern society. CBRNE disaster has the potential to cause specific physical symptoms and psychological distress in victims ; moreover, various toxic symptoms and carcinogenesis/mutation would be an important issue. Bioterrorism can cause localized outbreaks of infectious disease or pandemic disaster. Somatization as well as posttraumatic stress symptoms and depression are the characteristic psychological symptoms in CBRNE disaster's victims. CBRNE disasters could lead to large-scale public fear and social chaos due to the difficulties involved in verifying the extent of exposure and unfamiliar area to the common people. In the evacuation process, problems associated with adjustment and conflict between victims and residents should be considered.

The current railway projects under plan, design, or construction have been designed as 'very long and deep underground tunnel'. Therefore, it is reasonable that the standards for preventing disaster in such conditions should be intensified in order to avoid repeating the same failure which happened in Daegu subway disaster, Although we consent to the opinion that nothing can compete with human being's life, it is very difficult to protect the life from all of potential disasters perfectly in railway fields because the excessive standards can result in excess construction cost, which can bring about cancelation of the project itself eventually. Therefore optimized disaster design standard is required to negotiate the conflict between economical cost and social tolerance limitation simultaneously.

본 연구는 재난안전 분야에서 발생되는 정보갈등을 관리하기 위한 방안으로 재난갈등 정보 DB 구축을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 국내 외 연구기관의 데이터베이스 구축 현황을 분석하여 갈등 DB연구의 새로운 접근방법을 고려한 데이터베이스 구축을 제안하였다. 최근 정보갈등 관리를 위해 정보손실 예방, 갈등양상의 세분화, 다양한 관점의 자료획득의 필요성이 강조되고 있는 추세임에 따라 재난안전 분야의 갈등특성을 고려하여 재난유형별로 재난관리과정에서 발생되는 갈등의 행위주체, 주체별 갈등관리의 문제점 및 해결전략에 대한 정보관리 및 DB 구축을 제안한다. 재난갈등 사례의 장기적 자료 축적을 통해 향후 재난관리 과정에서 재난유형별로 발생 가능한 갈등유형을 예측하고, 유형별 갈등관리 전략에 관한 정보 분석을 통해 갈등에 대처해나가는 것이 필요하다.

The purposes of this study are to investigate various experience factors that special guards firstly appointed calculate during the occupational socialization and suggest the preliminary data which is necessary to the establishment of educational service strategy of preliminary special guard and security guard. So, in-depth interviewing and ethnographic study were conducted for 4 special guards firstly appointed. As the result, the occupational socialization process of special guards firstly appointed are quickening period, preparatory period, adaptation period and conflict/maturity period. The first, quickening period is a decision of family background, exercise experience and university entrance. The second, preparatory period is certificates and mentor of department vision, university curriculum and occupational preparation. The third, adaptation period is occupational specialty, occupational professionalism, occupational satisfaction, motivation and company colleagues. The forth, conflict/maturity period is job stress, turnover, conflict in company, efforts for self-development and prospect of job. Therefore, this study will be able to be applied as a guide for special guard's performance improvement and provide educational preliminary data for following-up studies.

Purpose: This critical ethnography was performed to explore the experiences of nurses who are working with patients in an industrial disaster hospital. During the research process, I focused on the experiences of conflict in caring patients. Methods: Data for the study came from 13 informants with their corresponding patients through interview and observation from March 2002 to February 2004. The data was examined line by line; then compared and contrasted based on a critical discourse analysis. Results: Nurses' conflicts came from discrepancies of the world views from that of the patients. Such conflicts arose because of various issues as follows: Worker as an individual vs patients, nurse as young women vs the medical profession, hospital as an extended home vs health care setting, and hospitalization as a means to enhance work capacity vs a means of treatment. Conclusion: We need more study on the development of adaptive strategy for the nurses to overcome conflicts during their nursing career. Developing a nurses' and patient role intervention program is needed.
