Implementation of Simplification Procedure for Digital Combinational Logic Circuits Using Java Applets (자바 애플릿을 이용한 디지털 조합회로의 간략화 과정 구현)

  • In this paper, the simplification procedure of Karnaugh Map, which is essential to design digital logic circuits, was implemented as a web-based educational tool by Java applet. The learners can make virtual experiments on the simplification of the digital logic circuit by clicking on some buttons or filling out some text fields. The proposed simplification procedure was implemented as a Java applet which is based on the Modified Quine-McCluskey algorithm. Thus, the implemented Java applet will enable the learners to enhance the learning efficiency as a auxiliary educational tool.

  • The usage increase of digital contents required solution for protection technology and interoperability of system. MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group) proposed MPEG-21 Multimedia Frameworks. MPEG-21 IPMP is standard that provides the means to enable digital item and rights information to be persistently managed and protected across networks and devices. In this paper, MPEG-21 IPMP based system to protect digital contents designed by four structures of license server, production server, consumption server, tool server. License server create rights information document using the XML-based REL about multimedia contents of users. Production server makes a digital item by packaging multimedia resource and metadata, which is combined by REL information and IPMP information of multimedia resource. Consumption server takes care of the functions of players that use digital item, and tool server was implement to transmit for missing tool that might occur in all procedures.

The study about usefulness of utilizing self-development jaw lift tool in pediatric Revers water's view (자체 개발한 하악거상 기구를 활용한 소아 REVERS WATER'S View의 유용성)

  • This study is to provide clinical data when reverse-water's-view was carried out about pediatric who did not communicate by applying self-development jaw lift tool. This study were conducted in a subject of 23 children who examined revers-water's-view from 2013 July 6 to 2013 August 5 at our hospital. Two group time which were carried out revers-water's with tool and without tool were measured. also, Image of two group were evaluated. Evaluation data obtained by measuring the average difference were analyzed by independent-t-test. After apply self-development-jaw-lift-tool, time was reduced by 35.2%(36.6sec). the results indicated significant differences(p< .05). Image evaluation was increase 43.5%(1.03point), It was statistically highly significant difference (p< .01). If apply self-development-jaw-lift-tool in pediatric revers-water's-view, operator can provide fast, convenience, high quality image to pediatric.

  • Due to the advent of high performance feature-phone and smart-phone, the scale of mobile games and the member of developers are increased rapidly. The production process of mobile games is changing to meet these needs. Tools for efficient program development are produced worldwide, but tool's research for the event direction is inadequate. In the event direction, the game designers play more important roles than programmers. In this paper, we develop the mobile game event direction tool for game designers. And we make the events of the released mobile games to test the efficiency and usefulness of tool that we developed. The result shows that the performance is enhanced about 15% in development period.

  • There is little study related to the 3D convergence contents authoring tool for teacher. In this study, we purposed the design of the interactive 3D convergence contents authoring tool for a teacher. To draw the design, firstly, we investigated the authoring environment of teachers and interviewed teachers. Based on this investigations, we proposed the functional requirement and UI/UX(User Interface/User Experience) design of it. And we investigated the level of focusing group satisfication with the UI/UX design. Based on these results, we will implement the authoring tool.

  • Digital Project(이하 DP)는 동대문 DDP, 여수엑스포, 한강예술섬등 비정형건축물의 BIM에 주로 활용되는 BIM Tool이다. 기계, 전기, 자동차분야에 널리 사용되는 Catia V5를 기반으로 건축분야에 맞게 건축, 구조, MEP 모듈을 탑재한 것이다. DP에 대한 자세한 소개는 본 회지 7 8월호를 참조하길 바란다. 현재 국내에는 DP가 많이 보급되지 않았고 배우기에도 Revit에 비해 상대적으로 까다롭기 때문에 유저층이 많지 않지만, 해외에서는 유저가 많으며 많은 Add-in이 만들어지고 있다. 이번호에서는 지난호에서 소개했던 Revit과 동일한 모델을 이용해 구조설계프로세스에 따라 구조BIM을 생성하고 활용하는 방법을 소개하도록 하겠다.

Analysis of the Utility of Emoticons as a Communication Tool (커뮤니케이션 수단으로써 이모티콘이 가지는 효용성 분석)

  • In this study, we learned about the emergence of on-line communications originating from peoseuteol Computer Communications, the limitations of online communication, and the definition, traits and development of emoticons that serve as complementary roles, such as emotion and status. After analyzing various literacture and references, it was found that the emoticons functioned as a function of communicating the visual language of the digital era and communicating more sensitively to emotional factors. In a multimedia environment, emoticons are developed at a more advanced stage as the users' own icons due to a stronger tendency to pursue particularity and uniqueness. It is expected that eomotions added with multimedia functions will be more popular and vary in type. However, although the diversification of emotions as a commercial tool is already actively progressing, there appears a reverse effect in which an excessive use of emoticons is considered insincere in online communications. In such a background, research should be conducted that can support a systematic and effective development of emoticons through visual research rather than producing multimedia emoticons indiscreetly.

Develop and Evaluate the Short Form Biomedical Ethics Tool for Medical Workers In Convergence Era (융합 시대의 의료종사자를 위한 단축형 생명의료윤리 도구 개발 및 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a short biomedical ethics tool for healthcare workers, compare it with pre-existing tool, and increase reliability. Data were collected from 211 healthcare workers working in G-do. Exploratory factor analysis was carried out using Varimax rotation extraction method in IBM SPSS WIN/21.0. Convergent validity of the tool was verified by regression and correlation analysis with original tool score. Reliability was verified by calculating intraclass correlation coefficient and internal consistency coefficient. The short, reduced 21 questions tool reflected 84% of pre-existing tool's biomedical ethics. Its reliability was higher than the 29 question tool for nursing students, but there were differences in the components of subdomains and reliability coefficient. Additional development of questions through qualitative research and interviews are needed to increase reliability of the subdomains. Measurement of biomedical ethics dilemma with the tool that has validity and reliability is needed, followed by replication studies.

  • Ever since the local interior and architecture design industry adopted Digital fabrication modeling tool for its design operation in early 1990's, working environment has been changing. The Purpose of study is to analyze the digital Architecture fabrication modeling for digital design education in academy course. Digital Design Tools, Digital Space and Form, Digital Materiality and Digital Production. The Digital fabrication modeling is and important role in a traditional design process and digital design process. It is comprised of digital input devices(3D digitizer, 3D design tools) and digital output devices(cutting plotters, laser cut, CNC machines, 3D printers). Digital input devices can be shift a traditional design process to digital design process. Digital output devices are the principle of digital fabrication by CAD/CAM. Also, the result of this study provide the fundamental data for physical resources and digital design curriculum in KAAB.

  • This paper presents a new scheme of neural network controller to improve the robustuous of robot manipulator using digital signal processors. Digital signal processors, DSPs, are micro-processors that are particularly developed for fast numerical computations involving sums and products of variables. Digital version of most advanced control algorithms can be defined as sums and products of measured variables, thus it can be programmed and executed through DSPs. In addition, DSPs are as fast in computation as most 32-bit micro-processors and yet at a fraction of their prices. These features make DSPs a viable computational tool in digital implementation of sophisticated controllers. During past decade it was proposed the well-established theorys for the adaptive control of linear systems, but there exists relatively little general theory for the adaptive control of nonlinear systems. Perforating of the proposed controller is illustrated. This paper describes a new approach to the design of adaptive controller and implementation of real-time control for assembling robotic manipulator using digital signal processor.
