Development of Verification and Interface Application for Interactive Data Broadcasting Middleware (양방향 데이터 방송 미들웨어를 위한 검증 및 정합 애플리케이션 개발)

  • In this paper, we design and implement verification and interface application for interactive data broadcasting middleware. This application implements ACAP and OCAP verification item according to their types (format, protocol. resource, presentation). Therefore, using this application, we can verify whether digital settop-boxes used in digital terrestrial television and digital cable television conforms to the ACAP and OCAP standards. In this paper, we evaluate our proposed application using TVPLUSiTM verifier which can verify interactive TV application in real broadcasting environment. Through performance evaluation, we show that the DTB-H650F set-top-box supports OCAP and ACAP standard 80% and 95%, respectively.

  • 한때 word process를 하기 위해 PC를 구매하던 때가 있었다. 그리고 지금도 word process 기능은 PC를 쓰는데 없어서는 안 될 기능중 하나이다. 그리고 최근 들어 web2.0의 추세와 함께 일반 application에서 수행하였던 Application들이 Web에서 수행이 가능한 web application으로 변화하고 진화하는 추세이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Ajax(Asynchronous Javascript And XML)기반의 공유 word process인 'Ajax기반 공유 word'를 만들었다. 이는 웹에서 WYSIWYG(what you see is what you get)으로 문서를 편집하면서 문서들을 사용자간 공유하고 문서의 변경내용을 다른 사용자가 실시간으로 확인할 수 있는 web application이다.

  • With the popularization of smart-phone, a variety of application service user is a rising trend now. In contrast, studies concerning library application service that cast a long shadow over the life of students and citizens still lacking in many ways. This study evaluates user experience of Young-in Si public library application service, and investigates user requirements. I searched the real user reviews about Young-in Si library application both App store and Android market. As the final outcome, I found inconveniences and improvements of this service. The application is intuitive, but requires consistent design, strong identity and customizing main page. It will be suggested specific guidelines for the public library mobile services in other areas.

  • In this paper, the write analysis the application of basic video content of Mobil Device Platform in China and studies the future development scheme. According to the survey, as of 2019, 78% of Chinese total population is the Internet service users and application software users. Mobile Device Platform is independently developed to provide video content application services, which already have 640 million video application users from 2013 to the present. 65% of users install and use more than two video content applications. In China TikTok, Kuai Shou, MeiPai and other video content applications, not only can easily achieve simple user interface and users can directly shoot video content. These production functions is different from YouTube, a famous video platform in the United States. In the video platform market, the core competitiveness is content creation. In the future, the integration of video content of VR, AR and other video projects will expecte to further activate the video platform market.

Development of Surface EMG Sensor Prototype and Its Application for Human Elbow Joint Angle Extraction (표면 근전도 센서 프로토타입 개발 및 인간의 팔꿈치 관절 각도 추출 응용)

  • In this paper, the prototype of surface EMG (ElectroMyoGram) sensor is developed for the robotic rehabilitation applications, and the developed sensor is composed of the electrodes, analog signal amplifiers, analog filters, ADC (analog to digital converter), and DSP (digital signal processor) for coding the application example. Since the raw EMG signal is very low voltage, it is amplified by about one thousand times. The artifacts of amplified EMG signal are removed by using the band-pass filter. Also, the processed analog EMG signal is converted into the digital form by using ADC embedded in DSP. The developed sensor shows approximately the linear characteristics between the amplitude values of the sensor signals measured from the biceps brachii of human upper arm and the joint angles of human elbow. Finally, to show the performance of the developed EMG sensor, we suggest the application example about the real-time human elbow motion acquisition by using the developed sensor.

  • 네이티브 어플리케이션의 한계를 극복하기 위해 웹 서비스를 이용한 Hybrid Application이 개발되었다. Hybrid Application은 단말기의 센서, 카메라 등 기기의 기능을 Application이 지원하고 내부 구조와 인터페이스, 데이터 전송 등에 Web기술을 이용하여 기존 네이티브 어플리케이션의 단점을 보완하고 장점을 합한 것이다. 웹 기반으로 구현 되었기 때문에 다양한 기기와 해상도에 적용이 가능하고 문제 발생 시 웹과 동일하게 실시간 업데이트가 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 HTML5과 하이브리드 어플리케이션 기반의 SNS 메신저를 설계하고 구현하였다. SNS의 게시판 기능과 메신저를 결합하여 커뮤니케이션을 강조한 어플리케이션을 구현하여, one-source-multi-platform SNS 시스템을 구축하였다.

A Block-Based Adaptive Data Hiding Approach Using Pixel Value Difference and LSB Substitution to Secure E-Governance Documents

  • In order to protect secret digital documents against vulnerabilities while communicating, steganography algorithms are applied. It protects a digital file from unauthorized access by hiding the entire content. Pixel-value-difference being a method from spatial domain steganography utilizes the difference gap between neighbor pixels to fulfill the same. The proposed approach is a block-wise embedding process where blocks of variable size are chosen from the cover image, therefore, a stream of secret digital contents is hidden. Least significant bit (LSB) substitution method is applied as an adaptive mechanism and optimal pixel adjustment process (OPAP) is used to minimize the error rate. The proposed application succeeds to maintain good hiding capacity and better signal-to-noise ratio when compared against other existing methods. Any means of digital communication specially e-Governance applications could be highly benefited from this approach.

A CFG Based Automated Search Method of an Optimal Transcoding Path for Application Independent Digital Item Adaptation in Ubiquitous Environment (유비쿼터스 환경에서 응용 독립적 DIA를 위한 최적 트랜스코딩 경로의 CFG 기반 자동 탐색 방법)

  • In order to access digital items in a server via ubiquitous devices, the digital items should be adapted according to the system environment, device characteristics and user preferences. In ubiquitous environment, those device-dependent adaptation requirements are not statically determined and not predictable. Therefore an application specific adaptation mechanism can not be applied to a general digital item adaptation engine. In this paper, we propose an application independent digital item adaptation architecture which has a set of minimal transcoders, transcoding path generator for a required adaptation requirement, and adaptation scheduler. And a CFG based method of finding a sequence of multiple unit transcoders called a transcoding path Is described in detail followed by experimental results.

  • Due to the development of digital technology, users can record their daily lives without being restricted by time and space. The trend is growing rapidly, but lifelogging cases are still insufficient. Google's Timeline and domestic application 'Daily' were analyzed through in-depth interviews. Based on the Creating Pleasurable Interface Model, the factors influencing user satisfaction were identified by the Reckard 7-point scale based on the Honeycomb model. The results of the in-depth interviews and the 7-point scale were similar, and we could see what and why users preferred the recording application. This study is meaningful to evaluate the user experience for recording application and analyzing the needs of users obtained through in-depth interviews to assess the usability that provide a service record and recall.

  • The goal of this research, contorted from the perspective of media aesthetics, is to uncover the ways how mechanical/cybersensual fashion products express aesthetic characteristics of cybernetics, by comparing them with digital products designed by an application of cybernetics. The other goal is to provide a cultural and design framework of cybernetics as d digital-environmental medium for fashion in which hightech and human sensibilities are fused. The results urged to explore two new contrasting perceptual possibilities for an understanding of digital technology application: negative and positive feedbacks. Cybernetic optimism, centered on technological dimensions, focuses on a concept of fashion that emphasize instrumental aspects-efficiency and convenience. In contrast, cybernetic pessimism focuses on digital fashion that expresses environmental destruction and the loss of human identity. A comparative analysis of the aesthetics of expression in digital fashion design and digital industrial products from a cybernetic perspective showed that in digital environment society, the combination of negative and positive feedbacks resulted in design products in which internal and external aspects of beauty complemented each other.
