  • Recently, developing medical devices have a tendency becoming the module for satisfying user's mutual complex needs. Because the most effective method for the observation of patients condition a diagnosis and a treatment is collecting data from various devices and controling operation following it. Module tendency is more popular due to manage easily totally many individual systems. This study implemented communication protocol to control by one control system connecting modular medical devices. Implemented system consist of one master module controlling all module and managing communication and many Slave modules. Communication between each modules introduced SPI(Serial Peripheral Interface) among many synchronous serial communication methods for the exact transmission and receipt of data. All communication executes by packet format. This can detect error. And, this protocol introduced PNP(Plug And Play) function that auto-detect connecting or removing module during running. This protocol exactly transmitted and received in faster speed more than 1Mbps. And in practical application to the ventilator this confirmed to give and take real-time data. And various functions by th central control system is implemented in this protocol.

  • Stick-PC is small and portable, So it can be used like a desktop if you connect it to a display device such as a monitor or TV anytime and anywhere. Accordingly, Stick-PC can related to various crimes, and various evidence may remain. Stick-PC uses the same Windows version of the operating system as the regular Desktop, the artifacts to be analyzed are the same. However, unlike the Desktop, it can be used as a meaningful information for forensic investigation if it is possible to identify the actual user and trace the usage by finding the traces of peripheral devices before analyzing the system due to the mobility. In this paper, We presents a method of collecting images using Bootable OS, which is one of the image collection methods of Stick-PC. In addition, we show how to analyze the trace of peripheral connection and network connection trace such as Display, Bluetooth through the registry and event log, and suggest the application method from the forensic point of view through experimental scenario.

  • Mobile Collaboration is an enabling technology that makes users share information between mobile devices and various Mobile P2P platforms have been designed and implemented for it. There are, however, few research papers on application of SIP protocol to spatial data sharing on mobile devices. In this paper, SIP based real time sharing framework is proposed to compose a mobile P2P platform on which spatial data can be trans(erred. A new protocol based on WKT and WKB is defined to send and receive spatial objects with SIP MESSAGE method. Base maps such as digital maps and parcel maps can be provided by a map server that is integrated with SIP server after a new SIP session established and client agents are registered. The framework proposed based onSIP enables users to transfer spatial data such as maps and satellite images directly between mobile devices during VoIP based voice call and therefore, mobile applications can be applied in various domains such asforest management and national defense.

  • Rett syndrome is a progressive neurological disorder that occurs exclusively in females. The syndrome is characterized by regression of language, motor development, and stereotypic hand movement. Autistic behavior, breathing irregularities, gait dyspraxia, scoliosis, and seizure are also accompanied. The cause of Rett syndrome is unknown, however, it is believed that the X-chromosome might playa significant role in the development of the syndrome. Patients with this syndrome have unusual oral and/or digital habits such as abnormal chewing pattern, bruxism, hypersalivation, micrognathia, high vaulted palate, tongue protrusion with lower posture of tongue, hand biting, digit-hand sucking. Dentists who are aware of distinct manifestations of Rett syndrome will be able to aid in early diagnosis and treatment of the syndrome. Prior to dental treatment for a patient with the Rett syndrome under sedation or general anesthesia, one should assess the degree of hypersalivation, apnea, severity of autism, expected life span. Early recognition of the syndrome and also dental treatment with established strict preventive guidelines for patients with the Rett syndrome may obviate the necessity of sedation or general anesthesia. Two cases with the Rett syndome were reported. Both patients had most of the above mentioned typical manifestations of the syndrome. Dental treatment for the case 1(8-year-old) including caries control, stainless steel crown, sealant application was performed under general anesthesia. The case 2 could not be undergone the dental treatment due to poor general conditions.

  • Media is the medium that impart information beyond time and space. They refer to characters or images that serve as means to convey information. From old media such as newspapers and television to new media such as the internet and smart phones, media has developed cumulatively with the development of technology. The goal of media education is to develop the understanding of the properties of media, the ability of critical interpretation of media and selective acceptance. Furthermore it is to cultivate the ability to express meaning creatively and communicate through media. I carried out 'the research of Korean classroom instruction models based on media' with Korean language and social studies education researchers from July 2016 to December 2016. This study is a fundamental study of the project. Based on 58 research papers published between 2006 and 2016, research trends and factors were extracted through literature studies related to media-based science learning. The Result has shown that the studies related to media-based science learning is on the rise, and more than half of all researchers studied about elementary school students. The studies were divided into research on students, research on teachers and pre-service teachers, research on smart devices or media contents, and research on the development of digital textbooks. Among the four variables, there were many researches related to students' cognitive and affective development, and the development and application of media contents.

  • DTM data evaluation regards accuracy and efficiency as its most important parameters, and these two elements are sensitively influenced by the sampling technique employed and its procedure. This study attempts to improve sampling techniques and evaluate the accuracy of DTM based on earth volume calculation, using aerial photography and field survey information as basic DTM data, and a regular grid and progressive sampling method for sampling process. Especially, the progressive sampling has employed different combinations of threshold and sampling criteria, that is, parameters influential on efficiency and accuracy, for the purpose of numerical tests intended to permit comparative analysis. The tests have resulted in the findings that in progressive sampling its grid density fits in well with given terrain characteristics in proportion to their variability. and that threshold and accuracy contain close mutual relations in which an increased threshold bringing more efficency but less accuracy. It follows, therefore. that a threshold, when appropriately determined, can be of very efficient use for considerably broad applications, and particularly, will play a significant role in its application to such general civil engineering as earth volume calculation.

  • Digital X-ray imaging devices using a TFT based flat panel array has been used in medical field. But, recently, lots of research on the photon counting sensor has been reported. In this study, we evaluated the physical properties of the photoconductor by suggesting the standard and testing method for quantitative performance evaluation of photon counting x-ray imaging sensor. First, we measured the leakage current and the sensitivity of photon counting x-ray imaging sensor and we evaluated the characteristic of rising time for determining the signal shaping time. In addition, the set-up study was conducted on the basis of the IEC 62220-1-2 recommendations to define the number of incident photons per unit area. And the efficiency of the charge collection was also evaluated. As a result, the characteristic was measured as $200pA/mm^2$ of the leakage current, $7{\mu}C/cm^2R $ of the X-ray sensitivity, and $0.765{\mu}s$ of the rising time.

  • Recently, Korean universities have experienced steady decline in enrollments in MIS majors, which raises a serious concern to both academia and business leaders as well. With roles of MIS in corporate worlds are expanding and demands for newer breeds of MIS graduates ever growing, this trend, also observed in the US, poses a puzzling yet interesting research agenda. To come to grips with the problem and to suggest a robust curricula model for the future, this paper approaches the problem from various angles. The model first examines perceptions on MIS of Korean students; it then delineates existing curricula models to identify core MIS courses. The compilation is then juxtaposed by MIS course information from major US and Korean colleges, leading to categorizing major MIS subfields. The paper then tries to identify as-is and desired status of MIS curriculum, based on inquiry results from both academia and IS practitioners. Together with career tracks concretely described in this paper, the model would serve to fill the perception gaps in and to meet the future goals for MIS education in Korea.

  • This paper presents a fast multiple-image-based deblurring method that decreases the computation loads in the image deblurring, enhancing the sharpness of the textures or edges of the restored images. First, two blurred images with some blurring artifacts and one noisy image including severe noises are consecutively captured under a relatively long and short exposures, respectively. To improve the processing speeds, the captured multiple images are downsampled at the ratio of two, and then a way of estimating the point spread function(PSF) based on the image or edge patches extracted from the whole images, is introduced. The method enables to effectively reduce the computation time taken in the PSF prediction. Next, the texture-enhanced image deblurring method of supplementing the ability of the texture representation degraded by the downsampling of the input images, is developed and then applied. Finally, to get the same image size as the original input images, an upsampling method of utilizing the sharp edges of the captured noisy image is applied. By using the proposed method, the processing times taken in the image deblurring, which is the main obstacle of its application to the digital cameras, can be shortened, while recovering the fine details of the textures or edge components.
