Mobile Web-toon Application Service Usability Study -Focus on Naver Web-toon and Lezin Comics- (모바일 웹툰 애플리케이션 서비스 사용성 연구 -네이버 웹툰과 레진 코믹스를 중심으로-)

  • Web-toon is provided to users in the form of Web-toon and The users are steadily rising and increasing amount of using time until today. Web-toon has become a popular pastime among smartphone users. Therefore, when providing services, Web-toon application should be made with an appropriate system so that it can be easily used, and considering problems that users may have while using the application, it should help users have better experiences. With Naver Web-toon and Lezin Comics as subjects, user experiences of teenagers were analyzed with questionnaires based on Honeycomb model of Peter Morville. The score of Naver Web-toon was higher than Lezin Comics after user experience assesment, and usability and accessibility as important factors turned out to be influential to teen-aged users who use Web-toon services.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an efficient user experience of integrated applications by comparing and analyzing the usability of existing cultural content applications in Seoul. The study method was based on seven components of the honeycom model to conduct an interview and analyze for user experience measurements of existing applications. The results of the study summarized them in three ways. First, we need to organize a wide variety of information into categories in an easy-to-understand way. Second, making it easy to purchase tickets within the application. Finally, it is necessary to recommend cultural content that is suitable for me. This research is expected to be used as a basis for the user experience of the Seoul City Cultural Content Integration application.

  • Recently, for the stabilization estimation of structures, many automatic measuring instruments with expensiveness and high accuracy have been developed and utilized. However, the existing manual measuring systems are almost impossible to measure the real-time for the whole surface of large-scale structures and an automatic measuring system has disadvantages with demanding enormous expense. In this study, 3D digital visual monitoring system was developed by using digital photogrammetry technique. To confirm application of developed system, it was applied to the measurement of the wall displacement of concrete surface and displacement measurement of reinforced-soil wall block. Then, the result of the test was compared with measuring value of total station. Based on the results of the comparison, the application of visual monitoring system was evaluated. The results show that the developed visual monitoring system could be available in displacement measure of structures.

  • O2O service that combine online with offline service has been rapidly increasing and O2O service is the new trend that merges online commerce with traditional markets in various fields. The purpose of this study is to investigate influences of University Student's Perceived O2O application characteristics on O2O services satisfaction and continuous use intention. For this purpose, questionnaires including O2O application characteristics scale, customer perceived O2O satisfaction scale and O2O use intention scale were administered to 241 college students in Seoul. Regression analysis revealed that O2O application Characteristics showed influences of O2O service satisfaction. The O2O application charac*teristics showed influences of continuous use of intention of O2O services, O2O services satisfaction showed partial influence continuous use intention of O2O service. The result of this study is expected to provide implication as an initial study O2O service which is spreading with the growth of mobile ICT. Ultimately, the results of this study provide a number of theoretical and practical implications.

  • The learning application of the rotating object utilizing smart devices, it is possible by using the touch functionality and 3D graphics to enhance the realism and operational feeling, and to overcome the limitations of learning content existing. In this study, I designed a "rotation class" based on the learning contents of elementary and middle mathematics education and developed the learning application which driven by smart Android-based device by using Andoroid API class and the OpenGL ES Because this application is driven by the smart devices, learners easily can make the rotated objects and observe them. It can be utilized in various for elementary and middle education.

The Application of Digital-Diagrams as Infographic Material in Multimedia Design (멀티미디어디자인에서 인포그래픽 도구로서 디지털다이어그램 활용에 관한 연구)

  • Diagrams have been deeply and widely used for supporting effective communication relating to design information and knowledge in most design fields. The results show that their role expands to "developmental design material" increasing the principle and method of design process. It's recent trend that Digital-Diagrams are aggressively used in multimedia design fields such as web contents, interactive movies and DVD Titles in order to support user's information understanding more effectively and to stimulate user's participation in information acquiring process. This study aims to clarify the essence of digital diagram corresponding to infographic material in multimedia design and application of multimedia contents development process . This study purpose leads to argue the substance of Digital-Diagrams as one of infographic types and identity of Digital-Diagrams which is relatively compared to existing Diagrams. Eventually, this study examines the application issues of Digital-Diagrams in multimedia design process. Regarding the identity of Digital-Diagrams, they are functionally utilized depending on hypertext based on language forms and interactivity based on graphical forms as core attributes. Therefore, they semantically enlarge user s information understanding by segmenting hierarchy of information expression and rather support user s acquisition of information control ability. Relating to multimedia design process, Digital-Diagrams are used by information designers and navigation designers as method for ‘modeling for realization based on information acquisition support for information-users. Especially, the study results show that the applications of Digital-Diagrams are performed for information representing methods for information designers and embodiment of useful functional factors of interface for navigation designersgation designers.

  • The importance of contents industry is growing up in various industries because of internet and digital economy. Recently, contents industry is challenging to new businesses such as total service industry with digital contents. It is important to classify digital contents to use it in contents industries and information and telecommunication service industries. Previous contents classification frameworks is based on contents quality, business model and application methods. They didn't consider business processes, interfaces of business unit and interactions in contents industries. In this paper, we present core business processes in digital contents industries, a corresponding digital contents classification, and analysis method of digital contents industry.

  • A new PDP cell structure called CSP(Charge Storage Pad) improves the luminous efficiency by 1.6 times and prevents cross talk between adjacent cells. The CSP, which is a conducting material, is inserted between the dielectric layer and the MgO film in the front plate. This CSP produces a longer time-averaged discharge path to get a high luminous efficiency and confines the discharge to prevent cross talk.

  • Digital art creation has become an indispensable part of today's society, but traditional digital art production methods have been difficult to meet the growing creative needs of artists. Therefore, this study takes the cloud series works of artist Morten Lasskogen as an example and explores the application value of 3D Max and Unreal Engine in digital art created by analyzing the lighting effects in the works of art. This research aims to form reference materials through actual case analysis and provide artists with more efficient ideas for digital art creation.

This thesis focuses on its unique application in stage art, exploring design and performance optimization, immersive experiences, and multimedia integration. The study shows that digital human character design enhances stage art with immediacy, interactivity, and multimedia integration, while also driving innovation in traditional stage art expressions.
