이공계 대학생의 글쓰기 경험과 인식 분석 (Analysis of Experience and Perception in Writing of Students Majoring in Science and Engineering)

  • This research intended to find the desirable orientation of writing education for students majoring in science and engineering. The survey was conducted to investigate the experience and perception of writing of 268 students majoring in science and engineering. Also students who relatively had more writing experience were selected for focus group interview in order to have an in-depth understanding on survey. Finally, the two investigations were combined to find the implication of education of writing for students. The results of the research are as follows. First, the students of science and engineering who participated in the research not only had a relatively insufficient writing experience, but lacked enough education opportunity on systematic writing. The satisfaction of the writing subject was directly affected by the quality of writing instructor and, feedback of the writing and writing process. Second, the students who participated in the research went through various difficulties in their writing process, but the efforts in trying to figure out the cause of the difficulties were relatively insufficient. Third, the students of the research perceived and agreed on the importance of writing and writing skills. They insisted needs of writing exercise, thought exercise for writing, accurate feedback in writing course.

  • The purpose of this paper is to review research evolution and achievements, major activities, research manpower, and difficulties for social scientists, using IRRI's internal web site and Social Sciences Division's research literatures. The major findings are as follows: 1) Social research started with the establishment of Agricultural Economics Division (AED) in 1966, and it was developed into the Social Sciences Division (SSD) in 1990; 2) Their research has been geared towards developing technological and policy interventions that improve food security and raise the well-being of rice farmers through sustainable increase in the productivity of a rice-based production system; 3) Major activities of social sciences research for about four decades can be classified into the identification of technology needs, technology impact assessment, policy analysis, research prioritization, and capacity building for social science research in NARS (National Agricultural Research Systems). They have become increasingly important in alleviating the poverty of the rice growing and consuming population; 4) Social researchers at IRRI include economists, anthropologists, gender specialists, geographic information specialists, and rural sociologists; 5) Finally, this paper discusses the difficulties faced by social researchers.

한국 간호대학생의 학습경험에 대한 통합적 문헌고찰: 질적연구를 중심으로 (An integrative review of learning experiences for nursing students in Korea: Based on qualitative research)

  • Purpose: In the Fourth Industrial Revolution, nursing education will change in a different way than before. The purpose of this study was to analyze characteristics of qualitative research on learning experiences for nursing students, and to suggest directions for nursing education geared to the needs of the future. Methods: An integrative review method was used. Based on Whittemore & Knafl's approach, five steps were applied. Results: Eleven papers met the selection criteria and had above average ratings in quality appraisals. Three characteristics related to the learning experiences of nursing students were derived: (1) overcoming difficulties in the learning process and concentrating on problem-solving, (2) improving self-efficacy through experiencing achievement in the learning process, (3) establishing nursing professionalism, (4) identifying the importance of self-directed and self-reflected learning, and (5) developing teamwork. Conclusion: This review found that various learning experiences were conducted for practical experience and learner-oriented learning. Nursing students overcame difficulties to achieve their learning outcomes, and developed their professionalism. Further study is required to comprehensively explore research including other countries, and the experiences of instructors.

한방산업의 지역개발유형연구 (Study in the Local Developing Form of Oriental Medicine Industry)

  • According to each developing type, we study a concept, contents and a consideration about in oriental medicine industry. The divisions of each developing speciality are followings: Urban industry type - The development of urban industry type has difficulties; The lack of technical development and social adaptation, etc. If it overcomes these difficulties, it will be activated in the oriental medicine industry. Rural industry type - The oriental medicine industry of rural type needs the model of rural oriental medicine industry which leads an activity and an independence of the rural region. Within the industrialization of the oriental medicine industry, if rural resource makes a specialized brand, it can have great effects in the future industry. Resort industry type - When The resort type is related the characters of natural circumstances, cultural industry and health management, it has many effects. If we gain the clear direction which is activated the regional specialities, the oriental medicine industry of resort type can estabilishs the high value industry. Event industry type - The event type is a festival, an exhibition, etc. Within this event, the promoter must provide visitors the specialized sights, the food things, the enjoyable things. And using traditional image, we have the regional resource is recognized good things and the nomination of open place can inform.

  • Purpose Seoul Digital Industrial Complex has remarkably grown both quantitatively and qualitatively in short period of time since it started restructuring project in 1997. It's also not few that there were various challenges and difficulties in this industrial complex due to fast growth in short-term, such as the deficient amenities, noncooperation among the related organizations. Now, it's time to overcome these challenges and difficulties to establish new strategy for the sustainable growth and development of this Industrial Complex. Methodology There are some previous researches but almost none of them considered the priority order of the development strategy having reflected the needs of industrial complex in point of customer. In this regard, this study suggests the development strategy of Seoul Digital Industrial Complex by supplementing the limits of proceeding researches and using the combined SWOT/AHP analysis theory. Findings Based on the final analysis result of survey by combined SWOT/AHP method, this study suggests the priority order of 4 development strategies for Seoul Digital Industrial Complex, such as SO strategy, ST strategy, WO strategy and WT strategy.

경력단절 어린이집 보조교사의 경험과 의미연구 (A Study on the Experiences of Daycare Center Assistant Teachers Taking a Career Break)

  • Objective: This study aims to explore the experiences of women who take a career break while working in daycare center as a teacher assistant. Methods: Seven assistant teachers and two child care teachers who took more than two years of career break were selected and given in-depth interviews over 17 weeks from August to December in 2020. Results: The results of this study are as follows. First, the women experienced the need for a career transition as an assistant teacher because it was time to for a change. Second, while working as a teacher assistant, they had various experiences and meanings in the process of career transition while playing the role as a teacher in daycare centers. Third, they also had some difficulties in conflict and some needs to build their professional expertise as a teacher. Conclusion/Implications: The study is expected to give insights to understand the difficulties of teachers who had experienced the need for a career transition as teacher assistant and to provide important data to develop teacher professional development.

상업.정보계 고등학교 컴퓨터 교과서의 단원별 제작 방안 연구 (A Study on Subdividing Computer Textbooks into Lessons for Commerce.Information High Schools)

  • 상업 정보계 고등학교의 컴퓨터 관련 교과는 매우 다양하며 각 과목별로 다양한 교과서가 출판되고 있다. 그러나 교과서가 과목별로 출판됨에 따라 변화를 수용하기 어렵고 학교 실정에 맞는 맞춤식 교과서를 선정하기는 더욱 어려움이 많다. 과목간 내용의 중복이 있으며, 응용 프로그램 활용 단원의 경우 각 학교에서 보유한 프로그램과 교과서에서 설명하는 프로그램과의 제작회사 및 버전 차이 등의 문제가 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제들은 교과서를 단원별로 제작하고 각 학교에서 실정에 맞게 단원을 선택해서 교과서를 구성하는 방법으로 해결 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 교과서를 단원별로 제작함으로서 가질 수 있는 장점과 그 운영방안을 제시하였다.

중학생의 정신보건교육 요구도 조사 (Needs for mental health education among middle school students)

  • Objectives: The middle school students face a turbulent period between the stages of childhood and adolescence. If effective mental health education can be provided over this period, it can help prevent behavioral and emotional difficulties of students. This study aims to understand the priority of mental health education as demanded by middle school students. Methods: The subjects of this study were 612 middle school students from five schools in the P city. A questionnaire arranged mental health education into 39 items for use as a tool in the study. For data analysis, followed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and multiple comparison analysis of Scheffe. Results: For general students, demand was highest for education on "Communication and Healthy Life," followed by "Self-esteem," "Stress," "Interpersonal Relationships and School Life". Conclusions: If education on mental health shall be offered at middle schools based on this study, education on how to communicate and lead a healthy life and improve self-esteem should go to general students to prevent behavioral and emotional difficulties. On the other hand, education and group programs for "Stress," "Mental Problems in the Adolescent Period" and "Addiction" should be offered to students with mental health problems to help prevent behavioral and emotional difficulties.

코로나19 상황에서 조손가족 조모가 경험하는 손자녀 양육에 대한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on the Experiences of Grandmothers Raising Grandchildren during the COVID-19 Pandemic)

  • 본 연구는 개별 심층면접을 통해 조손가족 조모의 손자녀 양육에 대한 경험을 확인하고, 양육자의 관점에서 어떠한 신체-심리-사회적 이슈들을 당면하고 있는지 파악하는 것을 주요 목적으로 하고 있다. 특히 코로나19 팬데믹 상황 속에서 조모와 손자녀가 경험하는 다양한 이슈와 변화 및 어려움을 탐색하였다. 연구 참여자는 동거가족 내 부모세대 없이 6개월 이상 손자녀를 전담 양육하는 7명의 조모이고, 자료수집은 반 구조화된 심층 면접을 통해 이루어졌다. 분석결과 1) 손자녀 양육에 대한 나의 느낌, 걱정, 그리고 대처, 2) 손자녀 양육의 현실에서 부딪히는 어려움과 장애, 3) 자라면서 변화하는 손자녀와의 갈등 그리고 대처, 4) 조부모, 부모, 손자녀 그들 간의 관계와 감정, 5) 서비스 및 자원에 대한 욕구와 바람이라는 5개의 주요 범주를 발견할 수 있었다. 이들 범주에서는 총 16개의 주제어와 60개의 하위주제어가 도출되었다. 전반적으로 연구에 참여한 조모는 손자녀 양육에 대해 양가감정(보람과 부담감)을 갖고 있었고, 공통적으로 경제적 어려움과 건강의 한계, 손자녀와의 소통 단절에 대한 어려움을 언급하였다. 특히, 코로나19로 인해 손자녀가 조모와의 대화 없이 하루 종일 집에서 컴퓨터와 게임에 몰입하면서 세대 간 갈등이 더욱 심화되는 경향이 나타났다. 조모의 서비스 욕구는 손자녀를 위한 학습지원과 정서적·관계적 지원, 그리고 경제적 지원에 우선순위를 보였다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 토대로 조손가족 지원을 위한 정책적, 실천적 제언을 논의하였다.

일부 지역사회 노인들의 의료서비스 접근성에 관한 조사 연구 (Accessibility of Medical Care in an Elderly Population)

  • A quantitative descriptive survey was conducted to assess the needs of elderly people in relation to accessibility of medical care. Identifying their functional status was done and accessibility of medical care was ascertained. Using a convenient sampling method, 856 elderly aged 65 and over in Taejon-city participated. A multi-dimensional questionnaire containing sections on health status, Activities of Daily Living(ADLs) and accessibility of medical care in terms of use, time, distance, transport, cost and feeling at ease was developed by the researchers of this study to collect data. Data were collected between October and December, 1999. In general, the result of the self-reports from this study found that approximately 40% of participants had difficulties with their health status and ADLs while about 45% of the population did not access medical care. The majority of respondents stated that they had no difficulties with time distance and transport to access medical care. About two-thirds of the respondents felt that they had many or some difficulties with expenses and strategies for emergency to access medical care. Even though these findings need to be generalized, several recommendations for appropriate medical care delivery for the elderly still can be outlined from the study findings. Recommendations suggested are: To identify impediments to access medical care in emergency in elderly people and to remove those factors preventively are required. Responsible governmental involvement for solving problems of the medical care cost and additional costs in relation to separation of dispensary from medical practice for the elderly is required. More constructive and practical uses of public health community centers are recommended.
