사용자 인터페이스 디자인 평가 도구로서의 래피드 프로토타이핑 방법의 유효성 검정 (An Empirical Test for 'applying the Rapid Prototyping Method to the User Interface Design Evaluation)

  • 실 제품을 제작하기 전 컴퓨터를 이용해 프로토타이프를 제작해 미리 제품은 평가하는 방법이 널리 사용되고 있다. 프로토타이핑 작업으로 제품의 외관을 미리 평가하는 부분은 이미 실효성을 입증 받았다. 그러나 사용자 인터페이스(User Interface) 디자인 부분에 대한 평가에서는 아직 그 유효성에 대한 연구가 충분하지 못한 형편이다. 본 연구는 프로토타이핑 방법에 의한 사용자 인터페이스 디자인 평가가 과연 적절한 방법이 될 수 있는 지에 대해 실험적 검정을 수행하였다. 대상이 되는 제품으로 전자렌지를 선택했으며 이를 컴퓨터를 이용해 프로토타이프를 제작했다. 12명의 피실험자들을 나누어 실 제품과 프로토타이프에 대한 사용성 평가를 수행하였고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 실 제품과 프로토타이프 사이에 작업성공률, 작업수행시간, 버튼 조작 회수 등에 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이는 아직도 프로토타이핑 방법이 사용성 평가 도구로 사용하기에는 보완해야할 점이 많이 있다는 것을 의미한다. 토의에서는 이에 대한 원인 규명과 문제점 해결을 위한 보완 사항 등을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 현장에서 래피드 프로토타이핑 방법을 적용해 제품의 사용성 평가를 수행하려는 디자이너들에게 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다

Research on Environmental Design Implementation in Taiwan's Manufacturers Certified by ISO 14001

  • This research investigates the status of environmental design implementation in Taiwan's industries (Certified by ISO 14001) by employing questionnaire survey. The correlation between the degree of environmental design implementation in Taiwan's industries and the relevant entrepreneurial characteristics are examined. Twenty-six environmental design principles in four phases: design, manufacturing, sales and transportation, and disposal are used to define and assess the current status of environmental design. The data analysis methods applied to this research includes descriptive statistics, T-test, Chi-square test, and single-factor analysis of variance (ANOVA). It is evident that 21 out of the 26 environmental design principles are frequently and consistently employed by the manufacturers in Taiwan. The results indicate that environmental design implementation is becoming mature in Taiwan's industries.

HFC-134a용 원심압축기의 성능시험 및 설계방안 (The Design and Performance Test of a Centrifugal Compressor for HFC-134a Refrigerant)

  • A centrifugal compressor for HFC-134a has been newly designed and developed. Flow analysis using commercial programs was used to evaluate performance and internal flow of the impeller, inlet guide vane and diffuser etc. The purpose of this study is to establish the design theory necessary to the development of HFC-134a centrifugal compressors and to supply basic data related to design by reviewing design values and experimental values through the performance test. The compressor for HFC-134a was also investigated experimentally to check compression performance. The calculated data coincide the test results of compressor. The data obtained in the present study are useful for design of HFC-134a centrifugal compressors.

에어백 인플레이터 캡 성형 공정 개발 및 검증 (Process Design and Experimental Verification of Airbag Inflator Cap Forming)

  • An airbag is an essential automotive component used in all kinds of vehicles such as an internal combustion engine and an electric motor vehicle and is used to minimize the damage of an occupant in the event of an accident. Airbag-related parts are being monopolized by a small number of foreign companies around the world. In this situation, it is necessary to develop and research the airbag-related part molding technology for expansion of the domestic airbag-related market and corporate export. As a part of this research, we have developed a mold for airbag inflator cap. The development consists of three steps which are the design of components, analysis of the design and verification of it. In the case of the design, the transfer type mold was designed for the multi-cylindrical shaped feature. Analysis was then conducted on the design. By examining the results of analysis, changing features and numbers of punches and dies were added in the analysis and repeatedly analyzed. After the addition, proper dimensions from the analysis were achieved, and prototypes were practically produced and verified. In the case of prototype verification, Pressurizing Burst Test was conducted on the existing products and the prototype. By comparing the results of the test, the possibility of replacing the existing product of the airbag inflator cap is presented in this paper.

  • With increasing technology, requirement to car noise and related dynamics are getting competitive keypoint. Unfortunately, vibro - acoustic behavior of a car is nowadays only possible after development of prototypes. But, obviously, in the Area of Research, many of Industrials, Universities and research centers try to codevelop the design tools to predict the vibro-acoustic behaviors. At this stage, it is more realistic to represent the existing technologies in order for the engineer to get their own know-how to design and to Integrate existing techniques, to setup their test facility, and to develope some tools with which they can successfully predict noise levels of car in the design phase. Moreover, most of the theories which will be represented in this paper can be used in the design phase. At any way, finding the cause of trouble shooting is more urgent than the design of a car to the test engineer. In this paper, transfer path analysis, noise source identification, and the key test method of modal analysis is introduced. Later, if I get the opportunity to present in KSNVE, the approach method of modal analysis is introduced. Later, if I get the opportunity to present in KSNVE, the approach method of finding characteristics of joint and welding part will be introduced. Most parts of this paper was quoted from the papers of LMS.

  • The developing country, KOREA where does not possess the natural resources for traditional energy such as oil and gas, so. The nuclear energy is the most single reliable source available for closing the energy gap. For these reason, It is inavoidable to construct the nuclear power plant and to develop technology related nuclear energy. The rate of operation in large nuclear power facilities depends upon the performance of work system through design and construction, and also the applied technology. Especially, it is the most important element that safety and reliability in operation of nuclear power plant. In view of this aspects, Nuclear power plant is performed severe examinations during preservice and inservice inspection. This study provide an automation of analysis for volumetric examination which is required to nuclear power plant components. It is composed as follows: I. Introduction II. Inservice Inspection of Nuclear Power Plant ${\ast}$ General Requirement. ${\ast}$ Principle and Methods of Ultrasonic Test. ${\ast}$ Study of Flaw Evaluation and Design of Classifying Formula for Flaws. III. Design of Automation for Flaw Evaluation. IV. An Example V. Conclusion In this theory, It is classifying the flaws, the formula of classifying flaws and the design of automation that is the main important point. As motioned the above, Owing to such as automatic design, more time could be allocated to practical test than that of evaluation of defects, Protecting against subjective bias tester by himself and miscalculation by dint of various process of computation. For the more, adopting this method would be used to more retaining for many test data and comparative evaluating during successive inspection intervals. Inspite of limitation for testing method and required application to test components, it provide useful application to flow evaluation for volumetric examination. Owing to the characteristics of nuclear power plant that is highly skill intensive industry and has huze system, the more notice should be concentrated as follows. Establishing rational operation plan, developing various technology, and making the newly designed system for undeveloped sector.

  • As a part of "The method of suitable design for resident," the purpose of this study is to figure out the resident aptitude of client through "Saju-Myungrihak" more effectively and precisely. That is, the study is to find out the relations between individual character and environmental interior tendency through experimentingss to make Images based on one's individual inherent aptitude and character.   • An aerodynamic design for centrifugal compressor which was applied to medium speed diesel engine has done. First of all, exact compressor specifications must be defined by accurate engine system matching. This matching program has been developed. Using the mean1ine prediction method, geometric design and performance curve for compressor was done and verified by comparing three dimensional viscous CFD results. The deviation at the design point was about 2.3%. Combustor has been designed and manufactured for the performance test of medium speed diesel engine turbocharger. Fuel nozzle of combustor was designed and performed by PIV and PDPA test equipment. Through these results, spray characteristics were studied and flow coefficient equation was deduced.

  • 월성원자력 2, 3, 4호기 safety-critical 소프트웨어에 대한 규제 기관의 요구사항을 만족시키기 위하여 소프트웨어 엔지니어링 절차가 개발되었다. 본 논문에서는 그 중에서 검증시험절차에 대하여 기술하였는데, 검증시험이란 설계그룹에서 개발된 소프트웨어가 독립된 기능그룹에서 부여한 요구사항을 모두 만족하는지를 확인하는 것이다. 이 검증시험을 수행하기 위하여 시험설비와 시험용 소프트웨어가 개발되었으며, 검증시험은 기능시험, 성능시험 및 자기점검시험 등으로 구성되었다. 시험결과를 분석하여, 불만족한 경우는 설계그룹에 통보되어 소프트웨어가 수정되었고, 최종결과는 보고서로 작성되어 규제기관에 제출될 것이다. 개발된 검증시험 방법과 절차는 효율적이고 성공적이었으며, 시험결과는 소프트웨어가 기능사양서를 충분히 만족시킨다는 것을 성공적으로 검증함을 보여주었다. 본 시험방법은 다른 safety-critical 소프트웨어 검증에도 적용될 수 있을 것이다.
