Topic map typically provide information to user through the selection of topics, that is using only topic, association, occurrence on the first topicmap which is made by domain expert without regard to individual interests or context, for the purpose of supplementation for the weakness which is providing personalized topic map information, personalization has been studied for supporting user preference through preseting of customize, filtering, scope, etc in topic map. Nevertheless, personalization in current topicmap is not enough to user so far. In this paper, we propose a design of PTRS(personalized topicmap ranking system) & algorithm, using both user profile(click through data) and basic element of topic map(topic, association) on knowledge layer in specific domain topicmap, therefore User has strong point that is improvement of personal facilities to user through representation of ranked topicmap information in consideration of user preference using PTRS.
Component-based Development(CBD) based on the software reuse has been more attractive from software companies that want to enhance software productivity. However, since component identification process is mainly dependent on domain expert´s intuition and experience, it was very difficult to develop tools for supporting the component identification process. In this paper, we propose a systematic procedure of identifying reusable component by using object dependencies and object usages and provide a design and implementation of its supporting tool. In object-oriented domain models. there exists several diagrams which are described in different viewpoints. From these diagrams, object dependency and object usages are extracted and merged into an object dependency network, which is a basis for performing a comfonent identification algorithm. Finally, through a case study of internet banking system, we evaluate the applicability of the proposed identification process and tool.
Aid to Navigation (AtoN) is the artificial facilities to facilitate the ship's safe navigation using light, shape, color, sound, and radio waves. IALA has developed and operated the educational course for expert groups for the design, deployment, and management of AtoN. Also, maritime educational institutes have operated various educational courses for safe navigation through the ship's operation and ECDIS curriculum for seafarers. However, education using the AtoN Simulator System is needed to prevent marine accidents caused by misunderstanding of the AtoN according to various topographical, environmental, and maritime traffic environments. In this study, the existing ship handling simulator and AtoN simulator were applied to develop educational modules for accurate understanding and application of AtoN in various environments, enhancing the quality of education from the existing theoretical point of view and improving practical use to maximize educational efforts.

Nurses have performed their nursing practice according to the standard guidelines such as NANDA, NIC, and NOC, and recorded the information on nursing process into EMR system. In particular, NANDA, nursing diagnosis taxonomy, has difficulty expressing nursing diagnosis in detail because it represents abstract concepts of nursing diagnosis. So, the hospitals in KOREA have developed and used the list of nursing diagnosis on their own without referring the international standard terminologies, and it caused the delay of computerization of nursing records. Therefore, we proposed a ontology development methodology on nursing diagnosis based on NANDA and SNOMED-CT. The developed ontology, systematically developed with the frequently used nursing diagnosis terminologies in each hospital, based on the proposed methodology enables knowledge expansion and interoperable exchange of nursing records between EMR systems. We developed an ontology using the 112 nursing diagnosis terms defined by extracting and refining information on nursing diagnosis recorded in Kyungpook National University Hospital. We also confirmed the content validity and the usefulness of the developed ontology through expert assessment and experiment.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the spine stability by comparing muscle activation in various scaffold working conditions. The independent working conditions were designed by two levels of working height, existence and absence of safety handrail, and the two levels of expertise. The corresponding activities of the agonist and antagonist muscles of spine were simultaneously recorded by using EMG. As results, novice worker showed increased muscle activity while doing the task on the 2nd floor, absence of handrail. And expert showed the increase of co-contraction while working on the 2nd floor without handrail. Such co-contraction was found to increase the spine stability when the working condition become risky. On the other hand, the co-contraction was prolonged, the spine muscle fatique and disc pressure could be increased, which would increase the risk of musculo-skeletal disorder. The results of co-contraction in this study indicates that the motor control system responds to maintain the stability of the spine particularly when workers cognitively recognize the danger of falling or imbalance. This study also quantitatively accounted for the biomechanical cause of LBP among workers who has to prevent themselves from falling. Therefore, if can be said that safe environment preventing falling can also prevent workers from MSDs as well. Such knowledge can be applied to design ergonomic workplace environment as well as movable scaffold.
This study aimed to develop functional underwear for elderly women in their sixties in terms of good fit, wear comfort and body temperature regulation. To satisfy elderly women's physical and metabolical needs, an automatic temperature control system via PCM treatment was applied. Underwear pattern was produced by producing body surface replica, which was derived from 3D body parametric model. Differential ratios of outline length and area between 3D surface and 2D plane were 1.4% and 0.5%, respectively. The reduction rate was determined as 10% through the expert's evaluation. PCM treated fabric showed higher Q-max, meaning that it can facilitate the thermal transition in hot situation. Moreover, it also showed higher insulation to preserve heat and keep warm microclimate in a cold weather. Heat distribution measurements on various body parts revealed that the temperature after PCM treatment was significantly higher. The clothing pressure after 10% pattern reduction showed higher before reduction, at the same time, even lower than the comfort clothing pressure range of $5{\sim}10gf/cm^2$, implying that experimental garment of this research is acceptable in terms of clothing pressure. Evaluation results on the comfort to move in various motions proved that adequate clothing pressure improved the wear comfort in various motions.
A key issue for process language design is balancing the need for semantic richness with the need for ease of use. Most process modeling languages fail to satisfy above two conflicting aspects, which is an impediment to the widespread adoption of process modeling languages in the software industry despite of a variety of software process language studies. This paper describes a process modeling language RAiSE attempting to resolve such problem and presents the result of applying RAiSE to a well-known benchmark process, ISPW-6 software process example. RAiSE provides rigorous, yet clear semantics through combing essential features in various modeling paradigms and defining them in a well-structured graphical notation. Process models represented in RAiSE are interpreted and enacted by process engine implemented using CLiPS, a rule based expert system tool.

Purpose: Tuberculosis (TB) remains a problem in the community. TB patients usually experience malnutrition, which is characterized by both decreased body weight (BW) and body fat percentage (BFP). Leptin, an important regulator of BW, also plays an important role in cellular immunity, which is integral to defense against Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. We analyzed the effect of an anti-TB treatment regimen on the leptin level, BW, and BFP of children with TB. Methods: The design of this study was a group interrupted time series. The subjects were children with probable TB according to clinical criteria based on an Indonesian scoring system adopted from the Consensus of Expert Panel. BW; BFP; energy intake; fat and protein intake; and leptin levels before, 2 months after (intensive phase), and 6 months after (continuation phase) anti-TB treatment, were measured. About 40 children, aged 5-14 years, participated in this study. Results: The BW, BFP and leptin level increased from before treatment to after completion of the intensive phase and still showed an increased during the continuation phase: BW 18.65 kg, 19.75 kg, and 20.85 kg; BFP 18.3%, 19.5%, and 20.2%; and leptin level 1.9 mg/dL, 3.07 mg/dL, and 3.4 mg/dL, respectively (P<0.01). Conclusion: Leptin level, BW, and BFP increased throughout the course of anti-TB treatment, compared with pretreatment values. Further research is needed to compare the results with data for healthy children.

The purpose of this study are to develop a SDSS (Spatial Decision Support System) that can incorporate diverse opinions of stakeholders related the designation of protected areas (PA), and to employ the model for the readjustment of the boundary line of the Jirisan National Park of Korea. The SDSS would lead to more rational and less controversial decision-making during the expansion or removal of PA in Korea. Research methods are as follows. Firstly, to select evaluation criteria for SDSS for PA designation by using expert interview and literature survey. Secondly, to measure their preferences on the designation of additional PA or the removal of a part of PA based on the opinions of various stakeholders such as local residents, environmental groups, or public officials. Thirdly, to produce conservation priority maps based on a multi-criteria decision making technique. The SDSS would be used to rational decision making for the expansion of PA or the release of a certain part of PA by reflecting diverse preferences on biodiversity conservation and economic interest of residents. The visualization of conservation priority maps would also increase the efficiency of such decision making processes. The evaluation criteria for the expansion of PA for biodiversity conservation includes vegetation conservation value, wildlife conservation value, and the habitats of key species. The evaluation criteria for the removal of PA includes the proximity to roads and the boundary of PA, land use types, and conservation zoning of the PA. Preference weights are based on data collected from the Jirisan National Park. Both the conservation priority and removal priority maps are based on land parcels so that property rights of all parcels would be correctly represented.
Recently, personal mobility has been spreading and using increasing, but the pedestrian environment is getting worse and accidents are also rapidly increasing. Therefore, this study conducts a status survey related to the elements of pedestrian disturbances in personal mobility and identifies the problems. The following measures are presented to improve the pedestrian environment for the mobility handicapped through expert opinion surveys. The movement of individual mobility means in the walking space is prohibited, and the speed limit shall be stipulated to enable the mobility handicapped to walk safely and conveniently. Parking spaces will have to create obstacle zones in the parking area next to the roadway or at the border of sidewalks and roads, and regulations are needed to collect illegally parked vehicles. It is necessary to switch from the existing automobile-oriented road to the road structure considering the use of low and medium-speed vehicles.
