  • Grid란 네트워크로 연결된 가상의 슈퍼컴퓨터를 말하는 것으로 Grid Middleware Toolkit인 Globus가 대표적인 구현물이다 Globus는 사용자에게 Grid의 상태 정보를 제공하는 방법으로 RSL에 의한 Query와 MDS의 LDAP프로토콜을 통한 query로 나뉘어진다. 그러나 이런 방법들은 다이나믹한 환경에서의 잦은 정보의 변화로 인해 query나 실시간적인 자료의 처리가 요구되는 시스템에서 긴 query response로 인해 효과적이지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 MDS 서비스에서의 자료의 저장 방법 및 자원 할당방법에 대해 살펴보도록 하겠다.

  • 공장자동화는 최근 급격히 발전하고 있는 분야로서 부가가치가 매우 높은 산업에 속한다. 공장자동화는 자동화를 구성하는 기계장치뿐만 아니라 기계의 전반적인 운영을 담당하는 소프트웨어 또한 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다. 결국, 공장자동화를 통해 생산되는 제품의 품질은 기계 장치의 정밀도, 견고성 등의 측면과 함께 운영 소프트웨어의 품질로부터 받는 영향도 무시할 수 없다. 본 연구 과제에서는 공장자동화 소프트웨어의 한 유형인 FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System)나 Cell Controller를 중심으로 품질평가를 수행할 수 있는 평가 메트릭과 방법을 개발하고 이를 적용하여 효율적인 평가를 수행할 수 있는 툴킷의 프로토타입을 설계하고 구현하였다.

Boolean Operation of Non-manifold Model with the Data Structure of Selective Storage (선택저장 자료구조를 이용한 복합다양체 모델의 불리언 작업)

  • The non-manifold geometric modeling technique is to improve design process and to Integrate design, analysis, and manufacturing by handling mixture of wireframe model, surface model, and solid model in a single data structure. For the non-manifold geometric modeling, Euler operators and other high level modeling methods are necessary. Boolean operation is one of the representative modeling method for the non-manifold geometric modeling. This thesis studies Boolean operations of non-manifold model with the data structure of selective storage. The data structure of selective storage is improved non-manifold data structure in that existing non-manifold data structures using ordered topological representation method always store non-manifold information even if edges and vortices are in the manifold situation. To implement Boolean operations for non-manifold model, intersection algorithm for topological cells of three different dimensions, merging and selection algorithm for three dimensional model, and Open Inventor(tm), a 3D toolkit from SGI, are used.

A Study on the Design and Analysis of a Mobile Game (모바일게임의 분석과 설계에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to design and develop a mobile game using J2ME, which is currently the most popular choice for game development to understand the process of mobile game development and to develop methods that address weaknesses of J2ME. The development was done with the Eclipse IDE(Integrated Development Environment) tool to simplify mobile game development by removing the need for complex commands and installation processes which are intrinsic to the DOS command Batch file arid J2ME Wireless Toolkit when used for the implementation of java mobile games. Literature was also reviewed on mobile game environments, the structures of J2ME Platform, and past research on mobile games, to investigate which parts of J2ME are important to the characteristics of mobile game development and how to implement these important parts when developing.

  • Retargetability is typically achieved by providing target machine information, ADL, as input. The ADL are used to specify processor and memory architectures and generate software toolkit including compiler, simulator, etc. Simulator are critical components of the exploration and software design toolkit for the system designer. They can be used to perform diverse tasks such as verifying the functionality and/or timing behavior of the system, and generating quantitative measurements(e.g., power energy consumption) which can be used to aid the design process. In this paper, we generate the energy consumption estimation simulator through ADL. For this goal, firstly, we describes the energy consumption estimation and monitoring informations on the ADL based on EXPRESSION. Secondly, we generate the energy estimation and monitoring simulation library and then constructs the simulator, RenergySim. Lastly, we represent the energy estimations results for MIPS R4000 ADL description. From this subjects, we contribute to the efficient architecture developments and prompt SDK generation through programmable experiments in the field of mobile software development.

  • In recent times, increasing is the number of civic participation government policy decision models through the application of the service design process. It's because the effect of a policy is cut in half due to the low acceptance will for police execution, which could occur in the supplier-oriented policy-decision process in the past. For solving out such a problem, civic participation policy service design has been under way in the name of 'National Design Group' led by the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs starting 2014. A sharing village is a village community in a broad sense for the purpose of giving effect to sharing economy, aiming to maintain sustainability through sharing consciousness raising between village members, coexistence and cooperation. This study presented a solution to the 3 sorts of city problems, i.e. sharing village, urban generation and youth employment settlement in combination by grasping the problems of the existing sharing village, and using service design method Toolkit However, there needs to be a follow-up research through continuous verification, and improvement of problems for the time to come because the casual relationship between research subjects is extensive, and this study has limitations in the satisfaction survey for verifying the result satisfaction, which individual subjects have, consequent on the suggestion of the way of solution, and the research period as well.

CUDA-based Fast DRR Generation for Analysis of Medical Images (의료영상 분석을 위한 CUDA 기반의 고속 DRR 생성 기법)

  • A pose estimation process from medical images is calculating locations and orientations of objects obtained from Computed Tomography (CT) volume data utilizing X-ray images from two directions. In this process, digitally reconstructed radiograph (DRR) images of spatially transformed objects are generated and compared to X-ray images repeatedly until reasonable transformation matrices of the objects are found. The DRR generation and image comparison take majority of the total time for this pose estimation. In this paper, a fast DRR generation technique based on GPU parallel computing is introduced. A volume ray-casting algorithm is explained with brief vector operations and a parallelization technique of the algorithm using Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) is discussed. This paper also presents the implementation results and time measurements comparing to those from pure-CPU implementation and open source toolkit.

  • The design of router that converts IP packets from IPv4 network to IPv6 network using embedded Linux toolkit based on processor is presented. As an address transition platform, IPv6 module is transplanted to Linux using processor and the experiment was done with IPv4 and IPv6. In order to build the test network, it is constructed with Tunneling mechanism of IPv4 and IPv6 network. The packet value is obtained about 2$\mu$sec on average a 2 hops on the ICMP ping6.

  • In this paper we deal with a design of the evaluation system to assess the vehicle operational control algorithm for Personal Rapid Transit(PRT) system. PRT system is different from the conventional rail traffic system in such point that the station is off-line so as to guarantee a very short headway. In this study we propose a evaluation system to assess the performance of the proposed vehicle control algorithm. The evaluation system is composed of virtual vehicles, central control system, virtual wayside facilities, monitoring equipments. In order to test the proposed evaluation system a test algorithm is used, which has been simulated in the combined simulation system between Labview Simulation Interface Toolkit and Matlab/Simulink.

  • In this paper, I explain the design and implementation of an automated drawing system by communicating with a user. I made a system providing an UI for virtual environmental actual robot to interwork with environment to make a drawing that I was able to read work, and to help convenience of a user in computers. The UI of a system was used the AWT(Abstract Window Toolkit) in NetBean tools. To draw images, I got image information from SVG vector files. This system can make images according to the demand of users by using real-time communication. Also this kind of drawing process can be an artists performance, not only the final image as a result of the work. So I suggest that this real-time drawing process which is operated by user’s command can be considered as an artists performance.
