Methods: This study is a cross-sectional, descriptive survey design and nonrandom, convenience sampling. Study subjects were 392 clinical nurses, who have agreed to be the subject of this research. The measuring instrument of attitudes toward incident reporting was developed by the authors. The questionnaire which consisted of 17 items about worry about appraisal, the belief in improvement, the intention of reporting, and knowledge was measured by 5-point Likert-type scale. The estimate of internal consistency was alpha =.84. Analysis of data was done with use of mean, t-test, ANOVA, logistic regression with SPSS program. Results: Clinical nurses had experience of reporting incident (51.3%), non-reporting incident (76.5%). Statistically, significant differences were found between experiences group and non experience group in intention on reporting, belief on improvement, and worry about appraisal. Logistic regression analysis showed that the significant predictors were caused by report no-fault cases, belief on improvement, worry about appraisal. Conclusion: The result also indicated that, to improve the incident reporting and risk management, it might be necessary to give a belief that it results on improvement and remove concern about punishment through construction of no-blame system.
The purpose of this study is to understand home care needs for parturient women and neonates up to the postpartum period. Methodology : The design of this study is a cross-sectional survey study. Therefore it could be concluded that the postpartum home care should be done by those, written material should be enhanced for parturient women care, and counseling enhanced for neonate care.
This study was conducted to evaluate the sanitary performance and education of elementary and middle school food service employees, by administering questionnaires to 358 elementary school food service employees and 171 middle school food service employees in Seoul. The collected data were subjected to descriptive analysis and $X^2$ tests using the SPSS package program. On the questionnaire, items pertaining to personal hygiene, ingredient control, process control, safety management, and sanitation education were used to measure sanitary performance, with a maximum possible rating of 5 per each category. The results can be summarized as follows. Elementary school food service employees' had the following sanitary performances scores: personal hygiene(4.75), ingredient control(4.82), process control(4.73), safety management(4.69) and sanitation education(4.29). Middle school food service employees' had the following performance ratings: personal hygiene(4.62), ingredient control(4.71), process control(4.71), safety management(4.61) and sanitation education(4.05). In the elementary school employees, 59.8% received regular sanitation education once per month, while 67.3% of middle school employees received regular sanitation education more than once per month. At the elementary schools, food service sanitation education was conducted verbally(39.4%), while middle school sanitation education was principally carried out through the distribution of leaflets(41.5%). The average effectiveness scores for food service verbal education were 2.97 out of a possible 5 at the elementary schools and 2.94 out of 5 at the middle schools. In both elementary and middle schools, the majority of the employees attributed the low level of sanitation knowledge in food service to a lack of facilities and equipment.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the mediating effect of stress coping type and self-esteem between life stress and suicidal ideation in nursing college students. The research design was descriptive study. Methods: A set of self-reported questionnaires was completed by 197 nursing college students, including demographic characteristics, life stress, stress coping type, self-esteem, and suicidal ideation. Data was analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ test, correlation analysis, and regression analysis for mediating effect by SPSS ver. 22. Results: The mean age was 20.9 years. The mean scores were 2.4, 3.6, and 1.7 out of 5 Likert scales for items of life stress, self-esteem, and suicidal ideation, respectively. The mean score for stress coping type was 2.36 out of 4 Likert scales. There was a positive correlation between suicidal ideation and life stress related to tasks, life stress related to interpersonal relationship, and emotion-focused coping of stress coping type (r=.537, p<.01); while a negative correlation between self-esteem and suicidal ideation. emotional-focused coping of stress coping type had a partial mediating effect between life stress related to tasks and suicidal ideation. Also, self-esteem had a partial mediating effect between life stress related to tasks and suicidal ideation as well as between life stress related to interpersonal relationship and suicidal ideation. Conclusion: Based on the finding of this study, it is necessary to apply various program to stress coping skill and self-esteem in order to reduce suicidal ideation in nursing college students.

The aim of this study was to compare the perceptions of the role performance of a clinical research coordinator (CRC) between the investigators and clinical research associates (CRAs). Data was collected using a structured questionnaire from 39 investigators and 68 CRAs in 4 hospitals from March 7 to November 30, 2011 and analyzed using descriptive statistics and a t-test. The investigators and CRAs were aware of the importance of CRC's role and they all gave the highest values for patients care management. On the other hand, the score of the role performance items showed perceptional differences between investigators and CRAs. Therefore, the development of detailed job descriptions and manuals will be needed to reduce the perceptional differences in the role performance of the CRC.

This paper aims to explore what we can improve in the curriculum, teaching-learning, and evaluation on the bases of the analyses of multiple-choice items set in National Assessment of Educational Achievement. For this goal, by using the distribution curves of the responses percentages, we will grasp the features of educational achievement which appear to students through an in-depth analysis about not only item itself but also the contents included in particular distracters. These analyses provide more information than the descriptive statistical values such as the mean of correct answer percentage and the discrimination of whole group and the mean of responses percentages of replies of subgroups. Because the distribution curves of the responses percentages reveal the transition from the lowest to the highest educational achievement very well. From these analyses we acquire the implications about the concept of prime factor or prime factorization, ratio(proportion) such as velocity, linear function, volume of cone, properties of solid figure, and probabilities of empty event and total event.
