Objective : This study tried to identify evaluation tools and intervention approaches that have been used regarding visual motor skills of children, in order to suggest the best evaluation method and intervention strategy. Methods : This study employed a systemic review. Papers researched for the review were selected from the PubMed which is a web engine to search academic articles. For search, time period of publication was limited from January 2001 to Jun 2010, and key words used were "visual motor and occupational therapy", "visuomotor and occupational therapy", and "perception and motor and occupational therapy". 13 papers among total 161 findings were selected for data analysis. Results : Through literature review, followings were founded. For population targeted in studies, children with developmental disorder are majority(20.00%) and those with handwriting problems are another major group(13.33%). DTVP(33.33%) and VMI(26.67%) are most common tools used to evaluate visual motor skills. Most frequently used intervention method is developmental skill based program(58.82) and the second common method is sensory integration therapy and sensory-based intervention(23.53%). Regarding the effectiveness of occupational therapy for visual motor skill, positive evidences with statistical power take 72.73%. Conclusion : The results imply that occupational therapy is effective for visual motor skill in children. It is suggested that further studies are needed to encompass effectiveness of occupational therapy in terms of children's occupational performance.

This study suggests a method for extending XMDR to integrate and search legacy system. This extension blends MSO(Meta Semantic Ontology) for the management of metadata, ML(Meta Location) for the management of location information, and Topic Map which is the standard language used to represent semantic web. This study refers to it as TMDR(Topic Map MetaData Registry). As an intelligent layer, Topic Map functions like an index. However, if the data frequently changes, the efficiency of Topic Map may drop. To solve this problem, the proposed system represents the relation among metadata, the relation among real data, and the relation between metadata and real data as Topic Map. The represented Topic Map proposes a method to reduce the changing relation among real data caused by the relation among metadata.
This paper describes how to compose multimedia ontology for integrating/searching different types of multimedia databases. For this, we build integrated ontology based on MPEG-7 Multimedia Description Schemes (MDS), which is a representative standard for specifying multimedia contents, and the concept of TV-Anytime and re-express it using Web Ontology Language (OWL). In addition, we explain interoperability of the developed integrated ontology with other types of ontology with different concepts. Lastly, this paper describes the method of semantic search and retrieval using the integrated multimedia ontology.
In the future, smartphone convergences are not only based on the on/offline integration, but also with the integration between mobile communications and broadcasts. Therefore, there is a need to search for new direction of mobile device that enables variety user applications that are different from the existing size and application issue. The aim of this research is to improve user interface of smartphone's functional attribute. We study on the analysis of smartphone's functional attribute by AHP. The survey results in this paper showed that the most preferable attribute of smartphone among the 8 was the wireless internet 25.3%, followed by messaging 20% and application 19.8%, which totaled to 62.5%. But the samples used were mostly limited to those aged 20 through 30. So the results are not considered as a representative preference of all smartphone users, and should be considered otherwise before materializing them to a product. Therefore, for the more liable results the further research should be conducted to gather data from a variety of users of all ages, and the functional attribute should be analysed through QFD.
Achieving the beneficiary goal of recent discovery in human genome project still needs a way to retrieve and analyze the exponentially expanding bio-related information. Research on bio-related fields naturally applies knowledge discovered to the current problem and make inferences to extract new information where shared concepts and data containing information need to be defined and used in a coherent way. In such a professional domain, while the need to help users reduce their work and to improve search results has been emerged. methods for systematic retrieval and adequate exchange of relevant information are still in their infancy. The design of our system aims at improving the quality of information retrieval in a professional domain by utilizing both corpus-based and concept-based ontology. Meta-rules of helping users to make an adequate query are formed into an ontology in the domain. The integration of those knowledge permits the system to retrieve relevant information in a more semantic and systematic fashion. This work mainly describes the query models with details of GUI and a secondary query generation of the system.
The data integration with modeled predictions (DIMP) model is a promising inverse radiation transport method for solving the special nuclear material (SNM) holdup problem. Unlike previous methods, DIMP is a completely passive nondestructive assay technique that requires no initial assumptions regarding the source distribution or active measurement time. DIMP predicts the most probable source location and distribution through Bayesian inference and quasi-Newtonian optimization of predicted detector responses (using the adjoint transport solution) with measured responses. DIMP performs well with forward hemispherical collimation and unshielded measurements, but several considerations are required when using narrow-view collimated detectors. DIMP converged well to the correct source distribution as the number of synthetic responses increased. DIMP also performed well for the first experimental validation exercise after applying a collimation factor, and sufficiently reducing the source search volume's extent to prevent the optimizer from getting stuck in local minima. DIMP's simple point detector response function (DRF) is being improved to address coplanar false positive/negative responses, and an angular DRF is being considered for integration with the next version of DIMP to account for highly collimated responses. Overall, DIMP shows promise for solving the SNM holdup inverse problem, especially once an improved optimization algorithm is implemented.
Various methods have been developed to predict the flight path of an air-launched weapon to intercept a fast-moving target in the air. However, it is also getting more challenging to predict the optimal firing zone and provide it to a pilot in real-time during engagements for advanced weapons having new complicated guidance and thrust control. In this study, a method is proposed to develop an optimized weapon engagement zone by the SCG (Scaled Conjugate Gradient) algorithm to achieve both accurate and fast estimates and provide an optimized launch display to a pilot during combat engagement. SCG algorithm is fully automated, includes no critical user-dependent parameters, and avoids an exhaustive search used repeatedly to determine the appropriate stage and size of machine learning. Compared with real data, this study showed that the development of a machine learning-based weapon aiming algorithm can provide proper output for optimum weapon launch zones that can be used for operational fighters. This study also established a process to develop one of the critical aircraft-weapon integration software, which can be commonly used for aircraft integration of air-launched weapons.
As the development environment is changing with the development of information communication technology, the systems that were used by each service became used with integration. In the process of integrating from existing legacy systems to new system, it should be smoothly integrated or shared, however, it cannot help holding existing technology or component due to significant cost burden for conversion. In this paper, it was not only classified by types with analyzing the various elements that make up legacy system but an approach and monitoring system were developed to each type. After System application results, data's information generated in each process is provided to other system in real time, so that it has not only secured the work efficiency and reliability but also it is made possible by integrating data in various formats for efficient data management, rapid search and tracking to history. With real-time monitoring system developed in this study, It can be very useful in a variety of industries which require real-time monitoring of distributed legacy system data.

Motion capture technology is widely used for manufacturing animation since it produces high quality character motion similar to the actual motion of the human body. However, motion capture has a significant weakness due to the lack of an industry wide standard for archiving and retrieving motion capture data. In this paper, we propose a framework to integrate, store and retrieve heterogeneous motion capture data files effectively. We define a standard format for integrating different motion capture file formats. Our standard format is called MCML (Motion Capture Markup Language). It is a markup language based on XML (eXtensible Markup Language). The purpose of MCML is not only to facilitate the conversion or integration of different formats, but also to allow for greater reusability of motion capture data, through the construction of a motion database storing the MCML documents. We propose a fuzzy string searching method to retrieve certain MCML documents including strings approximately matched with keywords. The method can be used to retrieve desired series of frames included in MCML documents not entire MCML documents.

Biological data and analysis tools are accumulated in distributed databases and web servers. For this reason, biologists who want to find information from the web should be aware of the various kinds of resources where it is located and how it is retrieved. Integrating the data from heterogeneous biological resources will enable biologists to discover new knowledge across the specific domain boundaries from sequences to expression, structure, and pathway. And inevitably biological databases contain noisy data. Therefore, consensus among databases will confirm the reliability of its contents. We have developed WeSAT that integrates distributed and heterogeneous biological databases and analysis tools, providing through Web Services protocols. In WeSAT, biologists are retrieved specific entries in SWISS-PROT/EMBL, PDB, and KEGG, which have annotated information about sequence, structure, and pathway. And further analysis is carried by integrated services for example homology search and multiple alignments. WeSAT makes it possible to retrieve real time updated data and analysis from the scattered databases in a single platform through Web Services.
