A new code and its decoding scheme are proposed. With this code, we can correct and detect the errors in communication systems. To limit the runlength of data 0 and augment the minimum density of data 1, a (15, 7) BCH code is modified and an overall parity bit is added. The proposed code is a (16, 7) block code which has the bit clock signal regeneration capability and high error control capability. It is proved that the runlength of data 0 is less than or equal to 7, the density of data 1 is greater than or equal to 1/8, and the minimum Hamming distance is 6. The decoding error probability, the error detection probability and the correct decoding probability are presented for the proposed code. It is shown that the proposed code has better error control capability than the conventional schemes.

The purpose of this research was to test the effects of entrepreneurship and technological innovation capability on new product performance in SMEs and the moderating role of absorption capability. For this study, Research data were collected through questionnaire instruments from the sample of 374 employees in 18 SMEs of metropolitan area. The 336 sample was selected and analyzed by hierarchical regression technique. The results showed that entrepreneurship and technological innovation capability had a positive effect on new product performance. And also found out absorption capability had the moderate roles between all the three factors of technological innovation capability factors and new product performance, but not between all the three factors of entrepreneurship and new product performance. With the research results, the implications for technical management of SMEs were discussed, and the directions for future research were suggested.

This paper describes object-based operating system to suppeor relability and abstract data type. For reliability, all objects should be accessed through access rights in capability, and the protection domain is provided for all program modules such that efficient domain switching can be achieved. In this paper, we calculate the premium rate of reliability insurance policy for brake pads for automobiles using real failure data obtained from use-condition. We try process capability analysis for the manufacturing process of brake-system. We describe the performance factors which have an effect on failure characteristics of brake pads. We also obtain the maximum likelihood estimates of shape and scale parameters of the fitted Weibull distribution for brake pads.

We investigate empirically the impact of IT exploration & exploitation capability and operational capability upon organizational agility, especially small and medium sized firms in the logistics industry in South Korea. Based on literature on the bilateral relationship between organizational agility and IT capability, we follow the established research model and propose hypotheses. This work takes an empirical methodology to test the hypotheses: design survey questionnaires, collect data, test reliability and validity of data, and finally test the hypotheses. Our results based on the data collected in 2018 present that IT exploration & exploitation capability significantly increases operational capability, and operational capability increases organizational agility. We find our contribution in updating previous research findings with recent data and in expanding the domain of research more specifically into small and medium sized firms in logistics industry in South Korea. Practically our work suggests that managers and policy makers should consider both fostering newly emerging IT exploration and existing IT resource exploitation capability in order to enhance organizational agility of those small and medium sized firms in logistics industry.

The importance of innovative capability, the driving force behind innovation as a company's intangible resources, is increasing. In general, companies with high innovation capability are more likely to be successful in innovation, which can be expected to have a positive impact on corporate performance. The innovation capacity of SMEs considered in this study is R&D capability and manufacturing capability. The reason for this is that not only the continuous efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs are focused on stabilizing manufacturing capability, but also considering the situation in which governmental support for SMEs' R&D capability has been actively developed. This study examines whether R&D capability and manufacturing capability have a significant influence on corporate performance and securing competitive advantage, and analyzes whether competitive advantage acts as a mediator between innovation capability and corporate performance through regression analysis. SPSS 23.0 software was used for the empirical analysis of the data obtained through the survey. The research results are as follows. First, both R&D and manufacturing capabilities of SMEs were found to have a significant positive effect on corporate performance. Second, manufacturing capability had a significant effect on securing competitive advantage of SMEs, but R&D capability was not significant. Third, the competitive advantage of SMEs was found to play a mediating role between manufacturing capability and corporate performance.

This paper is a brief review of the different procedures that are available for fitting theoretical distributions to data. The use of each technique is illustrated by reference to a distribution system which including the Pearson, Poission approximation of Gamma distribution and Burr functions. These functions can be used to calculate percent out of specification. Therefore, in this paper a new methods for estimating a measure of non-normal process capability for Gamma distributed variable data proposed using the percentage nonconforming. Process capability indices combines with the percentage nonconforming information can be used to evaluate more accurately process capability.

The control chart is widely used tool for monitoring of the process. This paper deals with an interpretation of the process capability index(PCI) and process performance index(PPI) when the control chart is used for monitoring of the process. The main difference between the PCI and PPI is how we did estimate the process deviation. The PCI uses the within process variation and the PPI uses the total process variation, which is conceptually defined as sum of between process variation and within process variation. Easy interpretations of the PCI and PPI for field engineers are described. And some new approaches to interpretation of the process capability and performance index may be useful in early stabilization of new process.

Process Capability Indexes(PCI) are used as the measure for evaluation of process capability analysis and is the statistical method for efficient process control. The fourth generation $PCI(C_{psk})$ is constructed from $C_{pmk}$ by introducing the factor $\mid\mu-T\mid$ in the numerator as an extra penalty for the departure of the process mean from the preassigned target value T And Process Incapability Indexes(PII) are presented by inversing PCI and include the information of PCI. This paper introduces the PII $C_{ss}^*$ provide manager with various information of process and include Gage R&R. PII $C_{ss}^*$ is presented by inversing PCI $C_{psk}$ and include the information of PCI $C_{psk}$.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between IT human capability and knowledge transfer and the role of absorptive capacity between them. From the test of both measurement and structural model using Partial Least Squares (PLS), IT human capability is found to be significant to absorptive capacity and knowledge transfer. Absorptive capacity is also significantly related to knowledge transfer. The interesting result found in this study is that the path of absorptive capacity drawn from IT human capability to knowledge transfer is stronger than the direct relationship between IT human capability and knowledge transfer, indicating that absorptive capacity plays an important role in knowledge transfer. This result indicates that IT personnel with stronger technical skill, interpersonal skill and management capability are more likely to acquire and learn knowledge effectively from outside expertise. Moreover, this study shows that absorptive capacity, the individual’s ability to utilize external knowledge is derived from IT human capability and strongly effects on transferring knowledge from outsourcing vendors. This study suggests IT related managers that the development of IT human capability and absorptive capacity should be recognized for a successful exploitation of outside knowledge within a firm. It is also a necessary condition for a successful IT implementation and maintenance independently and economically from outside vendors.
