  • Recently, 3D printer technology has been attracting attention in various industrial fields, and research papers are being conducted to utilize 3D printers in the construction industry. Actual structures such as bridges and buildings are being printed to 3D printers, and various applications such as mock-up structures using 3D printers are being proposed. In order to utilize 3D printer technology in the construction field, a 3D model is required, and the 3D BIM data produced at the design stage can be printed by a 3D printers, saving the cost and time of 3D model generation. However, 3D BIM data often does not satisfy the conditions for 3D printer output, causing many errors on output. In this paper, authors propose a problem analysis for 3D BIM model output to 3D printer and a method for reducing errors in 3D printing process of 3D BIM model. In addition, this paper presents a practical application of 3D model output from 3D printer.

  • For D2D communications underlaying cellular networks, it is essential to consider the mutual interference between the existing cellular communications and D2D communications as well as the spectral efficiency, as they need to share the same frequency. Accordingly, a resource allocation scheme should be designed in such a way that minimizes the mutual interference and maximizes the spectrum utilization efficiency at the same time. In this paper, we propose a resource allocation scheme based on cooperation of the base station and D2D terminals. Specifically, a D2D terminal senses the cellular spectrum to recognize the interference condition, chooses the best cellular resource, and reports the information to the base station. The base station allocates D2D resource such that the corresponding D2D link and cellular link share the same resource. The performance of the proposed resource allocation scheme is ated through compu under 3GPP LTE-Advanced scenarios.

  • Device-to-device (D2D) communication underlaying cellular networks can bring significate benefits for improving the performance of mobile services. However, it hinges on elaborate resource sharing scheme to coordinate interference between cellular users and D2D pairs. We formulate a joint mode selection, link allocation and power control optimization problem for D2D communication sharing uplink resources in a multi-user cellular network and consider the efficiency and the fairness simultaneously. Due to the non-convex difficulty, we propose a three-step scheme: firstly, we conduct mode selection for D2D pairs based on a minimum distance metric after an admission control and obtain some cellular candidates for them. And then, a cellular candidate will be paired to each D2D pair based on fairness. Finally, we use Lagrangian Algorithm to formulate a joint power control strategy for D2D pairs and their reused cellular users and a closed-form of solution is derived. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed algorithms converge in a short time. Moreover, both the sum rate of D2D pairs and the energy efficiency of cellular users are improved.

  • Let D be an integral domain, X an indeterminate over D, $N_v = \{f{\in}D[X]|(A_f)_v=D\}.$. Among other things, we introduce the concept of t-locally PVDs and prove that $D[X]N_v$ is a locally PVD if and only if D is a t-locally PVD and a UMT-domain, if and only if D[X] is a t-locally PVD, if and only if each overring of $D[X]N_v$ is a locally PVD.

  • Let D be an integral domain with quotient field K, M a torsion-free D-module, X an indeterminate, and $N_v=\{f{\in}D[X]|c(f)_v=D\}$. Let $q(M)=M{\otimes}_D\;K$ and $M_{w_D}$={$x{\in}q(M)|xJ{\subseteq}M$ for a nonzero finitely generated ideal J of D with $J_v$ = D}. In this paper, we show that $M_{w_D}=M[X]_{N_v}{\cap}q(M)$ and $(M[X])_{w_{D[X]}}{\cap}q(M)[X]=M_{w_D}[X]=M[X]_{N_v}{\cap}q(M)[X]$. Using these results, we prove that M is a strong Mori D-module if and only if M[X] is a strong Mori D[X]-module if and only if $M[X]_{N_v}$ is a Noetherian $D[X]_{N_v}$-module. This is a generalization of the fact that D is a strong Mori domain if and only if D[X] is a strong Mori domain if and only if $D[X]_{N_v}$ is a Noetherian domain.

  • Let D be a finite digraph with the vertex set V(D) and arc set A(D). A two-valued function $f:V(D){\rightarrow}\{-1,\;1\}$ defined on the vertices of a digraph D is called a signed 2-independence function if $f(N^-[v]){\leq}1$ for every $v$ in D. The weight of a signed 2-independence function is $f(V(D))=\sum\limits_{v{\in}V(D)}\;f(v)$. The maximum weight of a signed 2-independence function of D is the signed 2-independence number ${\alpha}_s{^2}(D)$ of D. Recently, Volkmann [3] began to investigate this parameter in digraphs and presented some upper bounds on ${\alpha}_{s}^{2}(D)$ for general digraph D. In this paper, we improve upper bounds on ${\alpha}_s{^2}(D)$ given by Volkmann [3].

  • The purpose of this research is to develop a service R&D concept definition and finding service R&D demand in Korea. It is necessary to develop an effective service R&D model to improve the competitiveness of the service industry. A survey model for finding service R&D demands has been developed through extensive discussions with experts. A demand survey for 91 experts in service industry and academia has been conducted to find relative weights of each service R&D category. Several other aspects on service R&D has beed investigated to analyze the relative importance of service R&D subjects. And a benchmarking on previous service R&D research investment has been performed. Past and present service R&D topics are compared as a whole and by each individual domain. A service R&D framework and important funding areas has been suggested. The results of this research can be used for research fund allocation decisions for strengthening service industry competitiveness.

  • Let R be a 3!-torsion free noncommutative semiprime ring, and suppose there exists a Jordan derivation $D:R{\rightarrow}R$ such that [[D(x),x], x]D(x) = 0 or D(x)[[D(x), x], x] = 0 for all $x{\in}R$. In this case we have $[D(x),x]^3=0$ for all $x{\in}R$. Let A be a noncommutative Banach algebra. Suppose there exists a continuous linear Jordan derivation $D:A{\rightarrow}A$ such that $[[D(x),x],x]D(x){\in}rad(A)$ or $D(x)[[D(x),x],x]{\in}rad(A)$ for all $x{\in}A$. In this case, we show that $D(A){\subseteq}rad(A)$.

  • In this paper, we introduce a wireless package system based on the amateur radio HR(HAM Radio) and satellite communication as a novel wireless disaster communication system and have configured a interference scenario receiving interference from adjacent base stations and D2D groups in the disaster network. In such interference scenarios, we propose a frequency re-allocation method to avoid interference and communicate with disaster networks by securing the channel capacity required between D2D terminals. As a result of computer simulation, we can find the proposed method has improved BED performance of a gain of 1.5dB and overall system throughput than conventional methods.

  • According to knowledge-based view, knowledge is an essential strategic resource for a firm to retain sustainable competitive advantage. As knowledge is created and disseminated throughout the firm, the firm can enhance its capability to respond to new and unusual situations. Thus, a lot of companies actively manage their knowledge and intellectual capital. Especially, knowledge management (KM) activities in R&D organizations play a critical role in enhancing R&D performances such as innovation capability. In this regard, this study develops a theoretical model to examine the effects of R&D KM activities on R&D performance. The research model posits KM participation, knowledge management system (KMS) use, and community of practice (CoP) as the main activities of R&D KM. This study proposes that R&D shared knowledge quality and R&D KM satisfaction play a mediating role between R&D KM activities and its performance. The proposed research model was tested by using survey data collected from 248 employees in an R&D department. PLS (partial least squares) was employed for the analysis of the data. The findings of this study showed that R&D KM activities play a significant role in enhancing R&D performance. The findings revealed that R&D shared knowledge quality is not significantly related to R&D performance, while R&D KM satisfaction significantly influences R&D performance. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings were described.
