21세기 동북아시아의 문화융합과 문화적 취향의 공유: <꽃보다 남자>의 유행 현상을 중심으로 (The Convergence and Sharing of Cultural Tastes in Northeast Asia in the 21 Century: On the Popularity of the TV Drama "Boys over Flower")

  • 이 논문은 21세기 한국과 중국, 일본, 대만에서 제작, 유행한 TV 드라마 <꽃보다 남자>를 연구대상으로 하여 동북아시아의 문화융합을 살펴보고 이 지역 대중이 공유하는 문화적 취향을 귀납하였다. 일본 만화를 원작으로 한 4개국의 <꽃보다 남자>는 원작이 지니고 있는 기본적인 서사구성을 토대로 캐릭터의 설정과 서사공간의 혼합, 소비주의적 욕망의 재현에서 각국의 사회적이고 문화적인 특수성을 재현하였다. 이를 통해 수용자들은 동북아시아 각국의 사회문화적 환경이 자연스럽게 혼성적으로 결합된 서사를 접하게 되는 것이다. 한편 로맨스 플롯을 기본으로 전개되는 TV 드라마 <꽃보다 남자>는 원작인 만화에서 가능했던 구성적 특질이 매체변환 과정에서도 드러나고 있다. 특히 전통적인 성 관념에서 탈피한 남성 캐릭터의 설정과 독립적인 여성 캐릭터의 재현을 통해 미래의 역할 모델을 제시하는 순정만화의 상상력이 동북아시아 대중들에게 공유되고 있다. <꽃보다 남자>의 주 수용자 계층인 10-20대 초반 젊은 여성들의 이해에 기반한 감수성과 취향이 21세기 동북아시아에서 공유되고 유행한다는 점은 "소녀"의 부상이라는 점에서 주목을 요한다. 부르주아 가족 구조를 단위로 하는 현대 자본주의 체제에서 엄격한 보호와 구속의 대상이었던 소녀는 21세기 동북아시아 대중문화콘텐츠 산업에서 중심 소비자로서 자리를 확고히 했음을 보여주기 때문이다.

복식에 있어서의 근대성의 의미 (Modernity in Costume)

  • Modernity is commonly defined as a reflection of the features of modern society based on the historical experience of the West. As such, modernity includes involvement with political, economic, and social changes, a changing world-view, and changing trends in equality, gender roles, a desire for "the new," consumption, distribution based on mass production, and rational reform in fashion and dress. First and foremost, however, modernity in costume has been driven by the functional requirements of industrial capitalism. But while modernity has popularly been regarded as some sort of universal standard, in fact the West and the other societies have vastly different, unique, and particular experiences with their own respective histories of modernization. For this reason, cultural changes in the modernization process should be-indeed, must be-analyzed in the context of a country's own unique historical and cultural circumstances, rather than through the prism or strict adaptation of generalized Western concepts of modernization. Moreover, a "periodization" of the modernization of fashion and dress can be established by examining the characteristics of modernity in costume.

  • Recently, in accordance with elevation of the consciousness level of citizens, the desire for cultural life is on increasing, and according to this trend, it is the real fact that the demand of the Grand Performance Hall where various cultural events can be performed, is also on increasing. However, since the Grand Performance Hall in view of its distinctiveness, is required of the repletion or abundance of sound, it could be said that the sufficient examination and planning about this are indispensable from the designing stage. On this viewpoint, this Study has intended to design the performance hall that maintains the optimized acoustic capacity through an acoustic simulation for the object of the grand performance hall on the step of construction. After completion of the construction for Grand Performance Hall hereafter, if compare the data analyzed in such way with the actually measured acoustic performance, it is considered that the more optimized architectural acoustic design could be achieved.

현대패션에 표현된 NEW ORIENTALISM에 관한 연구 (A Study of New Orientalism Represented in Modern Fashion)

  • In this study, New Orientalism represened in modern fashion is defined a new idea that harmonized with factors of eclecticism, traditionalism, naturalism, and futurism and these characteristics are examined. First, as these features, it is the phenomenon of eclecticism presented beyond regions and sex. Second, it is the phenomenon of traditionalism newly expressed traditional images in a modern sense by using and changing of a oriental dress image of the of the past. Third, it is the phenomenon of naturalism revealed an unalloyed recurrent instinct about nature and a desire for yearning. Fourth, it is the phenomenon of futurism which is come out the factor of oriental images whithin a minimal and cyber environment. This paper might be the foundation for Korean Orientalism which could be not a just pastiche but a cultural commodity and s main fashion current with a cultural identity especially in the year of 2000, "New Arts Year", declared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

'곰' 주제공원 조경설계 (Bear Theme Park Design)

  • Human desire is required to be changed variously as time flows. A theme park which is planned to male a good memory including a variety of story, drama, and experience with one of themes is increasingly and currently broaden to be a good economic value of cultural tourism for the local autonomy institution or individual business. The plan for a theme park should be developed to give the tourist satisfaction at studious and ecology educational needs in conformity with our country's distinctive four seasons, its surrounding environment, facilities, and its contents. This design which is called 'Bear theme park' has only one theme focused on a combined effort with a landscape designer and a sculptor. It is estimated that the park must be our country's unique model of a theme park The purpose of this study is to request the designer's direct construction to participate in it by themselves, to solve any problems on the design side, to experience the real construction procedure, and to take the designer's techniques, and skills as soon as the design completed.

로만 폴란스키의 <테스>: 육체와 자본의 미학 (Roman Polansky's Tess: Aesthetics of Human Body and Capital)

  • David Harris argues that mass media suppress counter-hegemonic factors in order to reach audience. According to Harris's theory, the success of the film "Tess" depends on its effective adaptation from Thomas Hardy's novel Tess of the D'Urbervilles (1891). Tess (1979), directed by Roman Polansky, casting Nastassia Kinski for Tess, was acclaimed as a professional and commercial success, awarded with various prizes. Hardy's aim at criticizing Victorian English social and moral standard through Tess appears obscure in Polansky's film which focuses on the aesthetics of human body and capital. Polanski's Tess with urban white beauty does not emerge victimized by poverty, which the late twentieth century audience under the capitalist umbrella may abhor. To examine his use of music, sound effect, visual images by means of camera operation—angles, distances, close-ups and frequent movements—light and color, and mythic elements in the film, show Polansky's sharp perception of his contemporary audience's desire and conscientious work upon it.

영화 <늑대소년>과 여성의 원형적 감정들 (Movie A Werewolf Boy and Women's Original Sens)

  • 영화 <늑대소년>은 여성관객의 숨겨진 본래적 욕망을 늑대를 통해 은유적으로 묘사하고 있다. 대부분의 늑대이야기는 인류 역사에서 체득된 늑대에 대한 공포와 두려움을 그리고 문화적으로 악의 상징으로서의 늑대에 대한 심적 응징의 보상 등을 담고 있다. 본 연구는 물리적 공포와 처벌대상의 늑대가 아닌 내면 깊숙이 자리하고 있는 원형적 야성의 은유로서의 늑대에 주목했다. 사춘기 순이의 괴기스런 늑대인간에 대한 경험과 노년의 순이가 이를 회상하는 가운데 여성의 본래적 (성적) 욕망이 모습을 드러낸다. <늑대소년>에 성적 묘사는 없다. 하지만 주인공 순이의 늑대소년과의 교감을 통한 자아성장과정 속에서 프로이의 성이론, 성적 욕망의 억압과 해소 그리고 승화의 메커니즘을 읽어본다. 브뤼노 베틀하임의 전래동화 "빨간모자"의 분석을 통해 사춘기 순이의 본래적 욕망을 분석하고 크리스티바 에스테스의 늑대이야기를 통해서는 노년의 순이가 잊고 있었던 여성의 야생성을 역 추적한다. 본 연구는 <늑대소년>이 생물학적 존재에서 사회적 존재로 거듭나는 가운데 억압되고 제거된 아니면 숨겨져 있던 여성의 본래적 욕망을 재 각성시키고 있음을 분석하였다. 표면적으로 <늑대소년>이 잔잔한 로맨스의 달콤함을 보여주지만 내면적으로는 환타지한 늑대인간과의 사랑을 통해 억압과 금기에 대한 저항의 쾌락과 연계된다.

자전거 탐방여행의 설득원과 설득메시지의 효과 (Effects of Persuader and Persuasion Message of Bicycle Exploration Journey)

  • 본 연구는 저탄소 녹색사회가 도래함에 따라 이산화탄소 배출을 낮추고, 녹색교통수단인 자전거를 이용한 탐방여행을 활성화시키기 위해 설득원과 설득메시지의 효과를 살펴보았다. 추가로 자전거의 인프라 조성과 관련된 예측변인들이 자전거 탐방여행의사에 미치는 영향 정도를 살펴보았다. 2009년 3월 14일부터 22일까지 총 9일 동안 257명을 대상으로 설문조사가 수행되었다. 경주지역은 당일 중심의 도시근교형 문화유적지가 산재되어 있어, 자전거를 이용해 문화유적지를 탐방하는 관광객들의 다양한 의견을 살펴보기에 좋은 여건을 갖추고 있다. 주된 연구결과들에 따르면, 설득원 및 설득메시지의 효과는 자전거 탐방여행 의사를 '가급적이면 타고 싶다'에서 '타고 싶다'까지 높이는 설득효과를 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 자전거 탐방여행의사를 설득원과 설득메시지별 이원변량 분산분석의 결과, 자전거 마니아와 건강효과들을 강조하는 설득방법이 높은 주 효과를 보였다. 또한 설득원과 설득메시지의 상호작용 효과 중에서 '자전거 마니아'와 '건강', '자전거 마니아'과 '친환경' 등을 강조한 설득전략이 가장 높은 설득효과가 나타났다.

현대 식음공간 실내디자인의 초현실주의적 표현 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the features of surrealistic expression of the interior design of Contemporary Food & Beverage Space)

  • The aspects of contemporary society change have been changed rapidly running for function value on the part of part industrialization and information-oriented. The transfer to the society focused on a human being emphasis and symbol value is in progress rising with natural desire of recurrence of human nature accordingly and desires of a human being inborn of sensitivity-oriented and pluralism-oriented are being expressed. Answering these social and cultural demands, concerns about an arbitrary mind world of a human being and pursuit dispositions about impractical and transcendental world are coincided with to the purpose and so various kinds of expressions except for art sphere are being experimented and applied. Here upon also in the field of the contemporary interior design, answering sensual desire of users, various arts and cultural tendency, the concept of surrealism is being applied in design introducing the concept of surrealism positive. And fantastical and unreasonable expression features of surrealism are being used as subjective essential elements to make new spaces. Especially amoung various kinds of the interiors designs, the features like surrealistic expressions in Food & Beverage Space which proper identity and strong symbolism will be expressed can be recognized as appropriate expression patterns to give still more sensitivity stimuli to customers. Thus this research disclosed conceptual and ideological background of surrealism and also analyzed and studied surrealistic expression features applied to the interiors designs of Contemporary Food & Beverage Space through expression disposition, study and classification of techniques. And standing on the result of analyzing surrealistic expression features of Contemporary Food & Beverage Space with a key word of expression features derived we groped for estatescape trend demanded in Food & Beverage Space and direction coming.

여성들의 임신관에 대한 현상학적 연구 (Women s View to Pregnancy)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the Korean women's view to pregnancy within the Korean cultural context, to help nurses understand psychosocioemotional schema of the pregnant women, and to contribute to theory-building on the meaning of pregnancy. The interviewees were 21 women in their twenties or thirties and they were selected by theoretical sampling technique. Thirteen women of the interviewees were single and others married. Data were collected by in-depth interviews from September November in 1994. Interviews were tape-recorded and transcribed. Data were analyzed by Van Kaam's phenomenological method. Results were as follows. Eighty two descriptive expression were found and they were grouped under fourteen common factors. These are 「to maintain family」, 「instinct」, 「obligation」, 「what one should do」, 「to make home」, 「to tie couple firmly」, 「means to overcome a period of lassitude」, 「token of love」, 「hope」, 「to avoid loneliness」, 「wanted to have a baby」, 「to provide for old ages」, 「to be a mother」, 「to achieve her desire through baby」. Finally, fourteen common factors were grouped under four higher categories. Five common factors, 「to maintain family」, 「instinct」, 「obligation」, 「what one should do」, 「to make home」 were grouped under〈custom〉. Three factors, 「to tie couple firmly」, 「means to overcome a period of lassitude」, 「token of love」 were grouped under 〈love between couple〉. Four factors, 「hope」, 「to avoid loneliness」, 「wanted to have a baby」, 「to provide for old ages」 were grouped under 〈pursuiting safety〉. Two factors, 「to be a mother」, 「to achieve her desire through baby」 were grouped under 〈self-fulfillment〉. At present, the most distinguishing motivation of childbearing was rooted in the cultural custom. Korean women thought that it was their duties to have children and children were necessary in life. But they were beginning to recognize that baby could tie couple more firmly and get rid of their loneliness. Korean women no longer considered their children as the one who would take care of them when they were old or who would satisfy their unmet needs. As pregnancy is not women's duty only, authors recommend further studies on men's view to pregnancy.
