ICT 활용과 서비스산업 일자리창출 관계 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between ICT Usage and Job Creation in Service Industries)

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between job creation and ICT usage in service industries. This research is particularly important because job creation is one of the most critical issues for the country. With technology innovation and system integration, manufacturing industries do not create enough employment, therefore, the society relies on service industries for creating job opportunities. Until now, due to limitations, analysis of job creation in service industries through ICT usage has not been investigated in depth. Thus, development of an effective ICT support policy was impossible. In this research, we used seven methods to investigate overall relationship between ICT usage level and job creation. A rule of large numbers has been applied to reach conclusion. Through this research, the government can focus its investment on service industries where job creation rate is the highest. We can expect both reinforcement in competitiveness of our service industry and continuous creation in employment, eventually leading to a virtuous cycle.

  • 과거와는 달리 성공적인 글로벌 기업들은 조직구성원들에게 자율과 책임의 권한을 부여하고 수평적인 조직구조와 자율적인 기업 문화를 만들기 위해 노력을 경주하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 심리적 임파워먼트가 조직몰입과 이직 의도에 미치는 영향에 있어 직무스트레스와 리더의 코칭행동이 어떠한 영향을 미치는가에 대해서 실증분석을 수행하는 것이다. 부정적 상황요인(직무스트레스)과 긍정적 상황요인(리더의 코칭행동)을 동시에 고려하여 제시하고 그 효과성을 검증하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 심리적 임파워먼트는 조직몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 이직의도에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 직무스트레스와 리더의 코칭행동의 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 자율적인 조직의 풍토를 만들고 이를 통해 성공적인 기업 문화를 만드는데 효과적인 가이드라인으로 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

  • The goal of the research is to identify the relationship between organizational justice, job satisfaction, and work attitudes in the context of job rotation. The competence and loyalty of the employees of an organization are critical to the organization's success. Therefore, organization should invest in developing their employees, including creating effective procedures and human resource management policies. A job rotation program is one of the critical policies in developing employees, as through this program employees can develop and actualize their abilities. However, there are some challenges in practice regarding implementing the procedures of job rotation. One of the challenges is related to the concept of organizational justice, which then impacts on employees' job satisfaction and work attitudes. This study was conducted in focused group discussions. The sample is 272 of a state-owned organization. In this study, the concept of organizational justice, with the dimensions of distributive justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice, were used along with the discussion of job satisfaction and other work attitudes. The results were issues of fairness in perceiving organizational justice in the job rotation context, and the most significant response lies in procedural justice.

군인가족(배우자) 취업 지원 (Job-seeking Support for Military spouses)

  • 지금까지 군인가족(배우자) 복지를 주제로 한 연구는 주로 소극적 복지차원에서 군인아파트 개선, 별거가족 치료 및 심리안정, 복지시설 개선 등에 한정됨으로써 군인가족의 취업지원 등과 같은 적극적인 지원 정책과 노력은 미흡하였다. 군인가족에 대한 최고의 복지는 수혜적 복지가 아니라 취업을 통한 능동적인 복지라 할 수 있다. 때문에 군인가족의 취업 확대를 위해서는 잦은 이사, 별거, 격오지 거주 등 열악한 취업 환경에 처해 있는 군인가족의 취업제약 요인들을 극복하기 위한 방안이 강구되어야 한다. 또한 군인가족 복지에 대한 인식의 전환, 군인가족에 대한 제대군인 취업지원 프로그램 확대 적용의 법제화, 지자체 및 관련 기관과의 협업을 통한 취업기회 확대, 국방개혁과 연계한 군인가족 유망 일자리 창출 등과 같은 적극적인 정책이 추진되어야 한다. 이를 위해 이 글은 정부기관 및 지방자치단체, 군부대의 협업 노력을 강조하고 있다.

Employee's Growth Need Strength and Counterproductive Work Behaviors: The Role of Perceived Job Insecurity

  • Purpose: This study explores the effect of employee's growth needs strength on counterproductive work behaviors. Perceived job insecurity was also examined as a moderating variable on the relationship between the two variables. Research Design, data and methodology: This study collected 108 data samples from working individuals from South Korea. The Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and the hierarchical regression analysis were used to analyze the data. Hierarchical regression analysis was performed using SPSS 24.0. Results: Our research results indicated that employee's growth needs strength has a negative effect on counterproductive work behaviors. Perceived job insecurity moderates the relationship between the two variables. Conclusions: Organizations should focus on creating growth opportunities for employees, since facilitating employee's growth need strength will counteract the desire to engage in behaviors that can be detrimental to the organization. and its members.

  • SOC 재정투자 및 민간 건설 산업은 국가경제에 커다란 기여를 해왔다. 단기적으로는 경기를 부양하는 한편 고용 창출하는 역할을 수행해 왔다. 본 논문은 부동산산업이 일자리창출에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있는 요인을 분석하여 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

대인접객서비스 근로자의 성별 직무스트레스와 우울 (Gender Differences in Job Stress and Depression of Service Workers)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to estimate the job stress and depression of female and male service workers and to determine the predictors influencing depression. Method: In this cross-sectional study, the data were collected from hotel, wholesale, and insurance companies. A total of 244 workers were recruited. Among them, 118 were female workers. A self-administered questionnaire was consisted of personal characteristics, job stress, daily life stress, social support, and depression. Depression was measured using a CES-D Korean version. Result: The average job stress of female workers was higher than that of male workers (P<.05). The average depression scores of female workers were higher than those of male workers, but the difference was not statistically significant. Multiple regression analysis showed that role conflict and low social support were significant predictors of depression in female workers. In male workers, role conflict, low social support, and under-utilization of abilities were significant predictors of depression. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that depression of service workers may be prevented by creating a workplace environment that focuses on role conflict and social support. Also, health providers should consider the vulnerability of working women to job stress.

Moderating effect of self-esteem and depression on the correlation between the frequency of community volunteer activities and job consciousness in dental hygiene students

  • Objectives: This study examined dental hygiene students' frequency of participation in community volunteer activities, job consciousness, depression, and self-esteem, and then identified the correlation among them. We also analyzed the moderating effect of depression and self-esteem on the correlation between participation in community volunteer activities and job consciousness. Methods: We surveyed 312 dental hygiene students attending four universities in South Chungcheong Province, Korea, from May 2 to June 15, 2016, through direct visits. They were given structured questionnaires containing four items on community volunteer activities, three on job consciousness, ten on self-esteem, and 13 on depression. To examine the moderating effect of depression and self-esteem, we performed analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling analysis (based on the path analysis model and by inserting interaction terms) using SPSS and AMOS. Results: We observed a negative correlation between self-esteem and depression (r=-0.062) but a positive correlation between self-esteem and job consciousness (r=0.125). Depression and job consciousness had a negative correlation (r=-0.176). Depression had a statistically significant impact on job consciousness (r=-0.519, p<0.01). The interaction term between depression and frequency of community volunteer activities also had a statistically significant influence on job consciousness (r=0.090, p<0.05). These findings indicate that depression moderates the correlation between frequency of community volunteer activities and job consciousness at a statistically significant level. Conclusions: More frequent participation in volunteer activities enhances dental hygiene students' self-esteem, reduces depression, and raises job consciousness. The positive impact of volunteering on self-esteem, depression, and job consciousness warrants encouraging students' participation in community volunteer activities, creating supportive structures, and developing various volunteer programs relevant to the students' area of study.

버스 운전기사의 직무만족도와 서비스 제공수준에 관한 실증적 연구 (A Casual Correlative Analysis of Bus Driver Job Satisfaction on Passenger Service Performance)

  • 버스의 이용률을 높이기 위해서는 장기적으로 시설적인 측면의 투자가 필요하지만 단기적으로는 버스의 서비스 수준을 향상시켜 이용객의 만족도를 높이는 것이 효율적인 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 직무만족도가 서비스 제공수준에 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가정 하에 버스의 서비스 수준을 향상시키기 위한 방안을 제시하기 위해 버스운전기사의 직무만족도와 서비스제공수준의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과 버스운전기사의 직무만족도는 서비스 제공수준과 상관관계가 있으며, 직무만족 도를 높이기 위해서는 고용안정성을 높이고 투명한 경영을 통해 상벌제도와 같은 회사정책을 공정하게 하고 복지제도를 좋게 하여 성취감을 가질 수 있도록 하는 것이 필요함을 확인하였다. 또한 임금만족도를 높이는 것이 요구되는데 임금만족도는 실질임금이 높은 것을 의미하는 것이 아니라 타 회사에 대해 비교적으로 임금이 높고 임금인상에 대해 만족하는 것을 의미한다는 것을 확인하였다 따라서 적정한 인센티브제의 도입이 여러 가지 직무만족 원인요인들을 동시에 충족시킬 수 있는 하나의 방안이 될 수 있을 것이다. 직무만족도와 사고와의 관계분석을 통해 직무만족도와 사고와의 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였고 직무만족도가 그다지 높지 않더라도 휴게/편의시설이 잘 갖추어져 있을 경우 사고발생이 감소하는 경향을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 대중교통 분야의 직무만족도에 대한 실험적 연구로써 향후 이와 관련된 지속적인 연구가 이루어질 수 있는 토대를 마련하였다는 것에서 큰 의미가 있다고 판단된다.

The Significant Role of Industrial Organizational Psychologists to Increase Employee Job Satisfaction

  • Purpose: This study's primary goal is to investigate and evaluate the critical contributions made by industrial-organizational psychologists to raising worker job satisfaction. The study aims to offer insights that can enhance workplace environments, improve organizational processes, and increase employees' general well-being by looking at the particular contributions made by this field. Research design, data and methodology: The study design, data collection strategies using the literature content analysis allow for a thorough analysis and synthesis of the body of knowledge about industrial-organizational psychologists' contributions to improving worker job satisfaction. This method entails a sequential procedure that includes formulating research questions and locating pertinent studies. Results: Numerous previous works have indicated that industrial-organizational psychologists are essential in determining how an organization is run and how satisfied its workforce is with their jobs. The four major roles (Job Design, Leadership, Workplace Culture, and Employee Development) that were found after a thorough analysis of the body of current literature are presented in this section. Conclusions: In sum, the roles found in this study provide organizations with a framework for creating work environments that prioritize the well-being and overall growth of the people who make up the organization while also helping them negotiate the complexity of the modern workplace.
