IoT technology that utilizes wireless body area networks (WBAN) and biosensors is an important field in the health industry to minimize resources and monitor patients. In order to integrate IoT and WBAN, a cooperative protocol that constitutes WBAN's limited sensor nodes and rapid routing for efficient data transmission is required. In this paper we propose an we propose an energy efficient and cooperative link energy-efficient routing strategy(LEERS) to solve the problems of redundant data transmission detection and limited network sensor lifetime extention. The proposed scheme considers the hop count node congestion level towards the residual energy sink and bandwidth and parameters. In addition, by determining the path cost function and providing effective multi-hop routing, it is shown that the existing method is improved in terms of residual energy and throughput
In the Republic of Korea, the LTE-based public safety (PS-LTE) network is being built for the 700 MHz frequency band. However, the same bands are also assigned to the LTE-based high-speed railway (LTE-R) network. Therefore, it is essential to utilize the co-channel interference management schemes for the coexistence of two LTE networks in order to increase the system throughput and to reduce the user outage probability. In this paper, we focus on the downlink (DL) system for the coexistence of PS-LTE and LTE-R networks by considering non radio access network (RAN) sharing and LTE-R RAN sharing by PS-LTE users (UEs) to analyze the UE throughput. Moreover, we also utilize the cooperative communications schemes, such as coordinated multipoint (CoMP) for the coexistence of PS-LTE and LTE-R networks in order to reduce the UE outage probability. We categorize the coexistence of PS-LTE and LTE-R networks into four different scenarios, and evaluate the performance of each scenario by the important performance indexes, such as UE average throughput and UE outage probability.
This paper aims to analyze the process of the evolution of Gumi electronics industrial cluster and to understand the role of governments for local industrial dynamics. Gumi was a typical satellite platform type new industrial district up to mid-1990s. At that time, Gumi industrial park was the agglomeration of branch plants headquartered in Capital Region with weak local linkages. During the last two decades, however, Gumi has evolved to an electronics industrial cluster with considerable local interfirm linkages and innovation activities of SMEs. Recognizing government industrial policies is critical in understanding the process of the evolution of Gumi electronics cluster. At the early stage, the state was the developer and locator of business activities within the confines of the Gumi industrial park. In recent years, central government's innovative cluster policy contributed to strengthening networks among firms, universities, and research centers to form local innovation networks as well as networks between large branch plants and SMEs. Gumi city and Gyungsangbuk-do promoted innovative activities of SMEs through the supports of cooperative networks between universities and SMEs. The increasing roles of SMEs and local governments in addition to the large branch plants and the central government have become the basis of the evolution of industrial cluster in Gumi.

Unlike single-hop systems, multi-hop systems that use relay nodes assign a part of the overall resources to relay communications. If efficient resource allocation schemes are not adopted, this leads to a loss of resources. Moreover, because we may not be able to guarantee high-link performance due to the adjacent-cell interference in relay-based cellular systems, resource efficiency can be severely decreased. In this paper, we propose efficient resource allocation schemes for downlink relay-based networks in 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) LTE (Long Term Evolution)-Advanced systems. Unlike conventional schemes that have static resource regions for each data link, the proposed schemes dynamically allocate the resources of each link to resource blocks, by considering the channel state and the capacity of each link. We also propose resource overlapping schemes in which two different links overlap at the same resource region, so as to improve cell or user throughput performance. The proposed resource overlapping schemes do not require additional processes such as interference cancellation in users, thank to considering additional interference from resource overlapping in advance.
In business-to-business setting, dyadic relationships between firms are of paramount interest. Recent developments in business practice strongly suggest that to understand these business relationships, greater attention must be directed to the embedded context within which dyadic business relationships take place. As a result, it is important to develop an understanding which is to move from dyadic business relationship to business networks. The purpose of the current study is (1) to identify types of network benefits: information acquisition, access to tangible resources, cooperative support from network members, (2) to model network benefit efforts on a customer orientation for customer firm, (3) to examine the relationship between network characteristics and network benefits. Adopting resource-based view and social capital theory, the conceptual model is proposed. In order to develop and test a model, this paper was empirically to examine how network characteristics can reinforce network benefits leading to focal firm's customer orientation using 123 firms. Through structural equation modeling, this research found that (1) density influences information acquisition, access to tangible resources, cooperative support from network members, (2) centrality increases information acquisition, access to tangible resources. We also find that information acquisition, access to tangible resources, cooperative support from network members enhances focal firm's customer orientation. Finally, We discuss several theoretical and practical implications, and suggest limitations for the research and future research issue.

As the importance of Cooperative Engagement Capability and network-centric warfare has been dramatically increasing, it is necessary to develop distributed tracking systems. Under the development of distributed tracking systems, it requires tracking filters and data fusion theory for nonlinear systems. Therefore, in this paper, the problem of nonlinear track fusion, which is suitable for distributed networks, is formulated, four algorithms to solve the problem of nonlinear track fusion are introduced, and performance of introduced algorithms are analyzed. It is a main problem of nonlinear track fusion that cross-covarinaces among multiple platforms are unknown. Thus, in order to solve the problem, two techniques are introduced; a simplification technique and a approximation technique. The simplification technique that help to ignore cross-covariances includes two algorithms, i.e. the sample mean algorithm and the Millman formula algorithm, and the approximation technique to obtain approximated cross-covariances utilizes two approaches, by using analytical linearization and statistical linearization based on the sigma point approach. In simulations, BCS fusion is the most efficient scheme because it reduces RMSE by approximating cross-covariances with low complexity.
This study identified cooperative governance status and performance and proposed policy implications for the local tourism association, which participated by a variety of stakeholders. This study is a case study and in-depth interview survey was conducted on the staff, members of the local tourism association and local government officers. As a result of the analysis, the community's desire to foster tourism and the county head's leadership influenced the establishment process. It was analyzed that the interests of participants in the local tourism association and the benefits they expected were varied. Members have been unable to participate in the operation of the association and the mutual exchanges of the members have not been active. The leadership and professionalism of the Secretariat has contributed to stabilizing the organization, and it has been shown that it needs to secure self-sustaining power through its own profit projects in the future. The Goryeong Tourism Association serves as a private local tourism promotion organization, carrying out the successful hosting of the festival and attracting tourists. In the future, however, it is necessary to strengthen cooperative networks, autonomous participation of stakeholders and cooperative coordination of interests in relation to the operation of tourism councils as collaborative governance.

In [1], the authors have proposed a novel scheme to achieve full diversity and to combat the time delays from each relay node, but decode-and-forward (DF) model operation mode puts more processing burden on the relay. In this paper, we not only extend their model into amplify and forward (AF) model proposed in [2],[3], but also propose an efficient decoding algorithm, which is able to order the joint channel coefficients of overall channel consisting of source-relay link and relay-destination link and cancels the previous decoded symbols at the next decoding procedure. The simulation results show that this algorithm efficiently improves its performance achieving 2-3dB gain compared to [1] in high SNR region and also useful to DF achieving more than 3dB gain compared to an original algorithm.

Automatic recommendation system of panel pool should be designed to support universal, expertness, fairness, and reasonableness in the process of review of proposals. In this research, we apply the theory of probabilistic ontology to measure relatedness between terms in the classification of academic domain, enlarge the number of review candidates, and rank recommendable reviewers according to their expertness. In addition, we construct a researcher network connecting among researchers according to their various relationships like mentor, coauthor, and cooperative research. We use the researcher network to exclude inappropriate reviewers and support fairness of reviewer recommendation process. Our methodology recommending proper reviewers is verified from experts in the field of proposal examination. It propose the proper method for developing a resonable reviewer recommendation system.
Domestic industries are facing the open era as a result of signing the Korea-U.S. FTA with no exception to the financial industry. The FFA between two countries is expected to produce pros and cons for domestic financial industry. Therefore, it is very important to minimize the shock caused by opening our financial market and to adopt the advanced financial tools actively. Signing the Korea-U.S. FTA and enforcing the Integration Law of Capital Market are leading a big crisis to the Savings Banks which have been shrinking under the dramatically changing domestic financial environment since the financial crisis. To cope with financial globalization, Korean Savings Banks are demanded to build up their concrete identity and reposition their status. This is related to shaping the long-term position of domestic financial industry. Therefore, the Savings Banks must take the growth strategy for their survival, and it is an inescapable choice. Several options are available: big scale operation and diversification of business functions, reinforcement of local-focused mediating function of funds, establishment of strategic alliance with other financial firms, reinforcement of risk management system and core competence, nourishment and employment of professional manpower, and active deregulation and policy support. When the Savings Banks are refurbished as an independent local bank performing the central role of local finance, the bright future can be their destiny under the enormously changing global financial environment. Also, two more conditions need to be satisfied: to establish horizontal networks among local banks directed by cooperative Korea Federation of Savings Banks to reverse the weak scale position, and to satisfy their own peculiar niche market with internal countermeasure to face global financial networks.
