A Study on the Assessment of a Reasonable Transformer Capacity by the Improvement of Diversity Factor (부등률 적용 개선을 통한 변압기의 적정용량 산정에 관한 연구)

  • This paper shows a reasonable diversity factor, that was made by the systematic and statistical way considering actual conditions, such as investigated contract power and peak power for the last 5 years of each customer for 20 Lease Apartment. In this paper, it is necessary to analyze the key features and general trend from the investigated data. It made an analysis of the feature parameters, such as average, standard deviation, median, maximum, minimun and thus it was carried out by the linear and nonlinear regression analysis. The standards of demand, diversity, and load density are necessary to create the design of a transformer capacity that is seldom presented in terms for academic study.

Design and Implementation of a Digital Control Unit for an Oxygenaire Servo Baby Incubator

  • This paper introduces a design and implementation of a digital control unit for an Oxygenaire Servo Baby Incubator. The control unit is designed and implemented according to international standards. The control unit is based on an AVR Atmel microcontroller unit. It is built for monitoring and control and displays the three main temperature values: set point temperature, baby skin temperature and air temperature. User friendly software is implemented. The implemented control unit was tested in the laboratory as well as in the field. The control unit is sensitive to change of $0.1^{\circ}C$. At startup, based on a unique control strategy, the incubator reaches its steady state in about 14 minutes. The system schematic diagrams are shown in the paper. Also, programs flow charts are presented. The control unit was designed and implemented based on a contract between the Electronics Research Institute (ERI) and ENGIMED Company. The authors would like to thank ERI and ENGIMED for introducing all required finance and shoring to complete this work.

Sensititivity Analysis For Development Of Gulf Of Alaska

  • It was attempted to analyze the sensitivity of the oil prospect place named MARIA which placed inside Gulf of Alaska. For the analysis, P6031090, ECOANA( computer) which installed in the head office, Shell Oil Co was used and the data needed for computer programming were 1) Unit of Production data 2) Production Schedule 3) Total Gross Yearly Expenses and 4) Total Gross Capital and so on. The important data among the computer output 1) PVPAT (Present Value After Tax): $1,167,077,500 2) Payout After Tax: 3.14 Years (256,284,810 BBL Production) 3) Earning Power: 42% (After Tax) 4) PVPAT/BBL : $1.22 5) Capital/BBL : $2.00. On the other hand, the effect acted upon PVPAT with varying the Platform cost, Facility cost, Pipeline cost and Well cost was observed in comparion with the basic for range from 50% to 200%. Resultantly, the order was 1) Pipeline cost 2) Facility cost 3) Well cost 4) Platform cost for range form 100% to 200%. This project was completed by the contract with Shell Oil Co., and the geological data needed for this analysis were given by the head office and the development project started from Jan. 1976.

  • Most of the applications for distribution system operation highly rely on the voltage and current managements from the field devices. Voltage from the remote controlled switch contains unacceptably large measurement error due to the nonlinear characteristics of the bushing potential transformer. This paper proposes a new voltage magnitude estimation method by calculating voltage drop using current measurement, line impedance and loads deployment data. Contract demand power and pole transformer capacity managed by NDIS are used as a key element to improve accuracy of the proposed method. Various case studies using Matlab simulation have been performed to verify feasibility of the propose voltage estimation method.

  • 세계 전력 시장의 흐름은 기존의 수직 통합적 구조를 벗어나 발전, 송전, 배전, 판매가 나누어진 형태로 변화하고 있다. 이에 따라 전력 거래에 있어서도 시장지배력에 대한 문제가 발생 됨에 따라 이에 대한 연구가 이루어 지고 있다. 전력 시장에서는 송전 제약으로 인하여 자유로운 거래가 이루어 지지 않고, 따라서 통상적으로 시장지배력을 완화시킬 수 있는 수단으로 여겨졌던 시장 계약이 되려 시장지배력을 강화시킬 수도 있게 되었다. 이에 대한 2모선에서의 해석적 증명은 이미 이루어졌으며 이 논문에서는 일반화를 위해 3모선에서의 영향을 MATLAB 이라는 툴을 이용하여 시뮬레이션을 하여 접근한다. 송전 제약 상황에서 3모선에서의 강제적 선도계약 참여와 발전회사의 선별적 선도계약 참여에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 하고 있다.

Frequency Response Method Based Controller Design of High-Speed Pantograph for Improving Transient Response (과도응답 개선을 위한 고속 팬터그래프의 주파수 응답 기법 기반 제어기 설계)

  • In this paper, we propose an active controller for high-speed pantograph in order to improve the transient response. Electrical power is delivered from a catenary to the train via a pantograph and thus it is very important to regulate the contact force between catenary and pantograph. By regarding the catenary displacement as an unknown disturbance input and analyzing the frequency response from the disturbance to contract force. we present an active controller that utilizes the lead compensator and resonant controller. It is shown by the computer simulation that the substantial improvement in transient response can be achieved by the proposed controller.

  • This study reports on the Arbitration system in the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration commission (CIETAC) and the International Arbitration problems of Korea and China. The Chines laws including Arbitration laws are influenced by the civil Code system Particulary the German system. China is contracting state of the U N Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (1958 New York Convention), which became effective in the China April 22, 1987. International Commercial Arbitration is popular in China. CIETAC is the sole International Commercial Arbitration body in China. CIETAC has two sub-commissions, on is shen zhem S E Z and the other in shanghai. The CIETAC rules, are similar to the rules in effect in Countries using a civil Code system. Both an agreement to submit an existing dispute to Arbitration and an Arbitration clause in a contract relating to future disputes are recognizeal as valiad Arbitration agreements. CIETAC has the power to make a decision on disputes concering the validity of the Arbitration agreements, or jurisdiction over a specicific case.

  • The federated learning can be utilized in conjunction with the blockchain technology to provide good privacy protection and reward distribution mechanism in the field of intelligent IOT in edge computing scenarios. Nonetheless, the synchronous federated learning ignores the waiting delay due to the heterogeneity of edge devices (different computing power, communication bandwidth, and dataset size). Moreover, the potential of smart contracts was not fully explored to do some flexible design. This paper investigates the fusion application based on the FLchain, which is the combination of asynchronous federated learning and blockchain, discusses the communication optimization, and explores the feasible design of smart contract to solve some problems.

  • With the 4th industrial revolution, many advanced information technologies are being applied to the area of construction engineering and project management. These applications are usually focusing on design, construction and operation stage and are producing many meaningful fruits. Even though these studies are very important for the development of the construction industry, this study insists that the other stage perspective such as construction business also should be emphasized. Because business phase has significant impacts on the success of a construction project as well as design, construction and operation phase. So, this study reviewed the intelligent-approach papers in planning and marketing, estimation and bid, contract and claim, and project financing fields. This study provides some insights such as values, difficulties, limitations and future directions of business intelligence application.

  • Blockchain technology has paved the way for the rise of non-fungible tokens(NFTs) in recent years. NFTs enable the unique ownership of digital assets and harness the power of blockchain's transparency and decentralization. However, existing NFT platforms often pose barriers to entry for the public due to their technical complexity and high issuance costs. To address the problem, this paper proposes a user-friendly NFT platform with a simplified issuance process. A home page is created to allow easy NFT issuance for anyone. These advancements are expected to foster the growth of the NFT market and facilitate the development of new business models.
