지하철건설에 따른 문화재 보호와 동대문역사시공 보고서(1) (Study on the measurement of blasting vibration response in construction a subway station at East gate of cultural treasure)

  • The East gate station area is 205M long and 24m deep which is located 13 meter in front of cultural treasure east gate. The area to be excavated by blasting is composed of granite rocks from 10M depth to 25M. Surface earth extends to up 10M depth. This job site has in involves heavy traffic congestion such as over 10,000 cars passing in rush hour where clossing No 1 lint of subway running 3 minitues head way. This east gate station construction is to be executed for the provent of the setting down of underground level and blasting vibration effects to cultural treasure east gate. Therefore, the caltural treasure committee approved this execution subject to the following condition. 1. Subway gelogical foundation and measured natural frequency 2. Execution of water tight wall 3. Sellection and test of damping material for wall and under rail 4. Measurement of monitoring system during the execution 5. Measurement of histogram system The above two projects was carried out by Dr. Kwang team in KAIST and prof, Han in Hanyang University under accadamic study contract. In the blasting work, for the pourpose of reduced vibration and low explosion velocity such as CCR, Kovex slurry. The 2nd, used electrical caps shall be delay cap and M/S caps in multi delay. The 3rd, drilling pattern is bench cut in open cut and applied control blasting in tunnelling and also shall drill anti-vibration holes as line drilling.

중일정계획을 고려한 선체 생산설계 작업할당 시뮬레이션 (Job Assignment Simulation of Ship Hull Production Design in Consideration of Mid-Term Schedule)

  • In this paper, we analyze the procedure of the design manager for the enhancement of the hull production design process by use of the simulation method. Normally, design manager assigns design jobs according to various methods and estimates the corresponding results. When the construction drawing which is the output of the detail design where a design is dealt by zones, the design manager identifies blocks and analyzes their work difficulties, and assigns jobs to design engineers who are different in capabilities. These processes including the design engineer who can be modeled with man-hours evaluation model are represented in detail as a simulation model. As the high-level modeling for the discrete-event system, we use Event Graph model. And we implemented the simulation using Simkit which is open simulation engine for the discrete-event system. We made the simulation scenario to be written by a user in the scenario generator which is separated from the simulation model, and made the simulation result to be visualized in the form of Gantt chart in a Web. In the scenario of the irregular issuance for various construction drawings which contain different numbers of blocks, we performed the Monte-Carlo simulation according to various assignment methods to find the assignment result that satisfies the mid-term schedule.

LRFD설계법에 의한 부마찰력이 작용하는 말뚝의 안정성 평가 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the Stability Evaluation of Piles for Negative Skin Eviction by the LRFD Approach)

  • 우리나라에서는 최근 해안 매립지역에서의 건설공사가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 경우 말뚝기초에서는 부마찰력과 관련된 안정성 평가가 중요한 설계요소가 된다. 그럼에도 불구하고 말뚝의 부마찰력 문제는 많은 지반 기술자들에게 충분한 이해가 부족한 실정이다. 그 이유는 부마찰력이 말뚝의 침하와 관련된 문제임에도 불구하고 대부분의 설계기준들은 안전율에 의한 말뚝의 지지력 산정에만 초점을 맞추고 있기 때문이라고 생각된다. LRFD 설계법은 말뚝의 지지력과 관련된 극한한계상태해석 외에 침하량과 관련된 사용성해석을 고려하므로 전통적인 국내 설계기준을 보완하는 방법이 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 부마찰력이 작용하는 말뚝에서 LRFD 설계기법을 적용하는 방법에 대해 논의하고 이를 전통적인 설계기법과 비교하여 보았다. 또한, 말뚝 재하시험을 통한 실제 사례분석을 통하여 각 설계기법의 적용성을 비교분석 하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해 부마찰력이 작용하는 말뚝의 안정성 분석 시 접하는 문제를 해결하기 위해 몇 가지 대안을 제시하였다.

방조제 축조 예정지반의 지진에 의한 액상화 거동 평가 (A Study on the Evaluation of Dynamic Behavior and Liquefaction Cau8ed by Earthquake of Sea Dike Structures on the Ground)

  • The laboratory tests are performed on how the liquefaction potential of the sea dike structures on the saturated sand or silty sand seabed could be affected due to earthquake before and after construction results are given as follows ; 1. Earthquake damages to sea dike structures consist of lateral deformation, settlement, minor abnormality of the structures and differential settlement of embankments, etc. It is known that severe disasters due to this type of damages are not much documented. Because of its high relative cost of the preventive measures against this type of damages, the designing engineer has much freedom for the play of judgement and ingenuity in the selection of the construction methods, that is, by comparing the cost of the preventive design cost at a design stage to reconstruction cost after minor failure. 2. The factors controlling the liquefaction potential of the hydraulic fill structure are magnitude of earthquake(max. surface velocity), N-value(relative density), gradation, consistency(plastic limit), classification of soil(G & vs), ground water level, compaction method, volumetric shear stress and strain, effective confining stress, and primary consolidation. 3. The probability of liquefaction can be evaluated by the simple method based on SPT and CPT test results or the precise method based on laboratory test results. For sandy or silty sand seabed of the concerned area of this study, it is said that evaluation of liquefaction potential can be done by the one-dimensional analysis using some geotechnical parameters of soil such as Ip, Υt' gradation, N-value, OCR and classification of soils. 4. Based on above mentioned analysis, safety factor of liquefaction potential on the sea bed at the given site is Fs =0.84 when M = 5.23 or amax= 0.12g. With sea dike structures H = 42.5m and 35.5m on the same site Fs= 3.M~2.08 and Fs = 1.74~1.31 are obtained, respectively. local liquefaction can be expected at the toe of the sea dike constructed with hydraulic fill because of lack of constrained effective stress of the area.

『아담과 이브』: 소비에트 슈제트와 M.불가코프의 패러디 ("Adam and Eve" - Soviet Plot and Parody of M.A. Bulgakov)

  • This article is devoted to little-studied play of M.A. Bulgakov "Adam and Eve". By the end of 1920's - the beginning of 1930's soviet society is differentiated again, its construction is rebuilded. In the new condition drama is needed as much as possible. Drama on the stage is ideal model for instruction of "Mass". Thereupon soviet society asked "New Hero", "New play", which can rebuild soviet citizen in the new construction of government. Thereby the play of M.A. Bulgakov "Adam and Eve" is created by order of soviet society. In this play typical soviet people are represented: Adam Krasovsky(engineer), Daragan(pilot-terminator), Ponchik-Nepobeda(writer), Zahar Markizov(proletarian-baker). They are different from each other by their occupation and formation, but they have same consciousness and they think identically. Bulgakov makes stand such problems: impersonality and unfreedom of human being in the government of communism. Bulgakov, using Parody, doubt the possibility of realization of utopia of Soviet government. Bulgakov show to us that Adam Krasocsky is not real Adam-first human being. In the play we can see the real Adam is the scientist-intelligent Efrosimov. Bulgakov change the place of Ponchik with the place of Markizov. The idiot and the fool is recognized not Markisov-drinker, tyrant, but Ponchik-writer. After the disaster Markisov, reading a Bible, is changing and by the end of play he started writing his own novel. Indeed if Ponchik wrote hoked-up novel, Markisov writes a real own history. Request of Leningrad Theater for Bulgakov to write about the future war comes from the spirit of the time. But Bulgakov in this play "Adam and Eve" could insist that the "Life" is a supreme value.

금강 평택지구 경사지 개발사업 (Upland Reclamation of Kumgang-Pyougtaek Projects)

  • 금강 평택지구 다목적 농업용수 개발사업은 1955년도 박대통영각하께서 방미시 농업부문에 대한 차관을 세계은행과 협의하여 1969年 5月 차관 협정이 체결되였고 정부와 농업진흥공사에서 5개년간 심혈을 기울여 조사설계를 실시하여 1970년 착공 1976년 준공예정으로 되였다. 본 사업중 농업생산 기반조성사업의 일환으로 시행된 경사지 개발사업은 경사지 5618ha에 대하여 관개를 전제로한 계단식 개답을 실시하여 연간 주곡(미곡) 25,167M/T을 증산케 되었으며 이는 약 61억원 상당의 외곡도입을 절감케 되고 약 209천명의 주곡을 자급 할수 있는 효과을 얻게 되었다.

  • 교통체계지능화사업은 교통, 정보통신, 토목 등 다양한 분야의 기술과 시스템을 다루는 복합사업으로 전문적인 관리활동이 요구된다. 그러나 사업관리와 감리 간의 업무구분이 명확하지 않아 부실시공 등의 문제 발생시 책임소재를 규정하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 교통 체계지능화사업 추진의 효율성 제고를 위해 교통체계지능화사업의 특성에 맞는 사업관리 및 감리 제도를 마련하는데 그 목적을 가지고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 교통체계지능화사업의 사업관리 및 감리의 대가 기준 마련을 위해 비선형 회귀모형과 같은 통계적 모형을 적용하였으며 현실적으로 타당성이 크다고 판단되는 모형을 선정하고자 한다.

『청교(淸交)』로 보는 한국 건축문화재 조사 및 보존에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Survey and the Conservation of the Korean Historic Buildings in the "Seikou" published from 1937 to 1943)

  • The magazine (Bulletin) of "Seikou" was made by conservation engineers to exchange information about the survey and repair work of historic buildings in Japan before World War II. This magazine has 26 volumes in total, and was published periodically four times a year from April 1937 to December 1943. Publisher is Nindokai that is supposed to the forerunner of Bunkenkyo (the Japanese Association for Conservation of Architectural Monuments). Only 3 or 4 organizations except personal possession have it now. And it has a limit to use the contents of the article as a general historical material. So, it was rare that experts and researcher used to the "Seikou". However, this study focuses on the articles of the Korean historic building, which is sometimes appeared in it, although there are few. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the fact-finding of the conservation for the Korean historic building in Japanese colonial period by analyzing the articles in historical records of "Seikou".

한국에서의 화학공장 건설비 구조 분석 (Cost Structure of Chemical Plants in Korea- Dae-Woo Engineering Co.)

  • This analysis has been conducted for 8 chemical plants built in Korea during 1975-1976 and the results have been compared with those in U.S.A. observed by Kenneth M. Guthrie. Equipment and materials supplied by domestic makers are limited in activity field and occupy only 12% of all equipment and material cost. However, unit costs of most materials supplied by home such as cement, steel, cables and carbon steel pipes, etc. being relatively cheaper than those of abroad, their effects on material-to-equipment ratios are apparent. There is a deep difference in labor wage rates between Korea and U.S.A. as much as 16 times. However, the labor productivity observed in these model projects is in the range of 1.1-1.4 to the Gulf Coast, U.S.A. during the same period. And this low wage rate and relatively high productivity have the greatest influence on deviation of Korean cost structure from that of U.S.A. In these model projects, engineering and construction management was conducted by foreign contractors (mostly U.S.A.), and the resulting project indirect cost amounts to 7.5 times as high as most cases executed by Korean contractors alone. Weighted percentage of each component and L/M-ratio by activities of direct field cost derived from this analysis are shown in detail in Tables 2 and 5 to provide a basis for futher study and comparison.

우리나라 엔지니어링산업의 시장전망과 기술인력 필요공급량 추정에 관한 연구 (The Forecasting of Market Size and Additional Requirement of Technical Manpower in Korean Engineering Industry)

  • The engineering industry plays an important role for national competitive, since it has an high impact on other industries. With its importance, the engineering industry development largely depends on its technical manpower ather than capital factor. This study aims at estimating the additional requirement on technical manpower based on the forecasted market size which represents the structure change corresponding to economic growth in related industry. Research scope includes the twelve of fifteen field except three with insufficient historical data and technical manpower above bachelor degree. Specialty, we forecast market size with determinants resulted from historical data analysis on each field. The demand on technical manpower is derived from the forecasted market. We also estimate an additional requirement with the supply analysis. The research results show different patterns over time period. The relative ratio on chemical and construction to total market will steadily grow over short term, while applied, environment, electronic and information will rapidly grow This pattern will be stabilized over mid or long term. The additional requirement on technical manpower represents the similar pattern to market growth. The research result implies manpower policy for having high inflow of technical engineer from educational institute and the related industries through the image improvement.
